This is an exquisite hotel- a beautiful sanctuary from the Ubud madness. Everything about it is excellent - the staff, the setting, the food and it was very good value. The staff are super helpful, friendly , happy and professional. it was a delight to interact with each of them and to be made to feel special. The vegan food is superb , and the gardens and setting ( which I think is an old temple) are lovely. This is probably one of the nicest small hotels I’ve ever stayed it. I found the Ubud streets a challenge- so busy and crowded and noisy. This beautiful hotel, down a short lane, was perfect to retreat to. The Lokale bar , just at the entrance, plays music at night which I enjoyed and did not find at all intrusive. Nor was I bothered at all by the school next door.

The roof top room I was originally allocated had some seriously steep stairs . While I am sure the size and the view were great, I was very happy to be able to move to ground floor rooms.

Centrally located, in the heart of Ubud, but also very quiet, so you won't hear the noise from the streets. We loved the architecture and deco of this place. The room was clean and the beds were cosy. Breakfast was served to our room, at the terrace and the food was delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth staying here.

In the middle of the action yet down a lane so tranquil once there. Staff were amazing, breakfast beautiful, good Bali vibe. Loved everything. Travelling 4 countries for 2 months and this was best experience by far.

A little noisy if you like early nights/sleep in but staying in town that’s unavoidable. Staying further out involves transport hassle (renting scooters is very risky wait till you see the traffic madness) and also roosters crowing before dawn!

Everything! Exceptional service. 100 stars! Clean and beautiful. Incredible food in-house menu. The location is superb. Everything is done via Whatsapp (order food and laundry) within minutes to all the ubud attractions but very quiet. They picked us up on a late 11pm flight, holding my name on a card. And they have a 24-hour frontdesk. They made us luxury breakfast bento boxes for our 3am Mount Batour hike (so considerate, anticipated all our needs). The architecture is amazing. They even held our luggage for a few hours after checking out so we could explore the city before our transfer to the airport. Hands down the best place I have ever stayed.

We had a roof-top room and we loved being high up (although the stairs were a bit of a challenge!) It had a large balcony. The breakfasts were wonderful and there was a good choice. The pool area was lovely and we used it a lot. We were with several other people and had our breakfasts together by the pool. Once they’d left we had breakfast on our balcony. It is really close to everything and despite being off a very busy road, it is set back far enough down a pedestrian lane to ensure that you don’t hear the traffic. Comfortable bed. Good shower. Good ac. The staff were lovely.

Our room was not the size we expected. It said 65sq.m. but it was much smaller. A pity as I’d specifically chosen it because of the size. However we still liked the room. Live music in bar next-door.

This was my second time staying at Gayatri and I will definitely return! The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, yet so close to everything. Service and staff were lovely and attentive. The breakfast included in the room rate was served so beautifully - note that it is a vegan breakfast, which was not an issue for me. I felt like I was in my own private retreat.

I love everything at Gayatri. I have stayed here before & absolutely loved it last time so I have came back again & will do so next time I visit Bali. I will also stay longer here because it's meets so many of my needs. Vegan Food all totally fresh & free of any Chemicals, a totally sustainable Hotel only using all natural sustainable products. The staff are beautiful, the Hotel is beautiful, the food is delicious. Rooms clean, super comfortable & lots of lovely little extras. Gayatri is tucked away so is quiet but within walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. I love it here & will definitely stay again.

I was quoted an unrealistic price for a Driver so organized my own.

It's a beautiful maintained property with neat and clean rooms & friendly nice staffs and the location is fabulous. Pool area is also good for relaxing. Though it's a vegan hotel and hard core non-vegetarians can cringe but we only had the complimentary breakfast there and thoroughly enjoyed the same. Dinner was never a problem for us as non vegetarians because just step out of the hotel you will get 100 cafes all around

No negative points as such, may be the washroom size could be little larger and the room lights can be more brighter, but these are really not so critical ones

The serene beauty of the property and the breakfast why’d is served to your room at the sit out area outside. The bed linen had a beautiful fragrance which helps you to fall asleep, 5 star sheets and fluffiest towels with all toiletries. Turn down service also provided. Helpful staff, slower earlier check in than 3 pm. Vegan hotel but the breakfast was superb with many choices and excellent quality.

The step club upto the penthouse suite. The shower in my penthouse suite was a trickle of water although beautiful open shower bathroom,

The Booking.com reservation experience when we booked Gayatri was bad. It showed me s discounted price for the room (that is why we booked) and at the end the total was for the normal rate. The hotel would not discount it when we showed up. My contacts with booking.com only resulted in you guys sending me answers that did not addressed that your site tricked me during the booking. It was NOT the hotel fault. Booking.com should not do false advertising saying it was giving me a discount and Withoyt Warning me, charging me a full price total. When I saw the total, the booking was already completed. Dishonest!
