Ode Hostel

Great location, you live upstairs in a house. Breakfast is dope!! From a nearby restaurant with a rooftop view! 🫶🏻 free water refills ! Nice common area 😊 AC works good. Hot water in showers! I would stay again simply for the location and breakfast options .

the door squeaks when someone enters, Wi-Fi is really bad, there’s small children so they can get loud sometimes- wasn’t usually big problem. Not the most modern facilities. The cleaners are kinda proactive, I left my water bottle or other items in the common areas, it would be gone after a while.

Beautifully friendly staff. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Delicious breakfast with great ambiance and a nice view over the city. The host has great English skills. Many offers for tours, like sunrise tracking up to Mount Batu and sightseeing tours around in the Ubud area. Right in the city centre. Just two min walking to the next supermarket and 5 min walking to the market and palace. ATM close by, restaurants, bars, shows. Planned on staying two nights. Ended up staying four.

Beautiful property, comfy beds and rooms (beds have a curtain for privacy but is also thin enough so the AC goes through), the family is so nice and went out of their way to be helpful and ensure we were having a nice stay. It’s fun to have the kids around the courtyard (makes it rlly homey), the balcony is perfect, and the complimentary breakfast is FABULOUS at the neighboring restaurant. Not many rooms, so at all crowded.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about, I loved it!

Very clean and nice hostel run by a fruebdky family in the center of Ubud. The central area is very touristy and trafficky but the dormitories are back away from the noisy street. Breakfast is very nice at the resto just next door and hot coffee and tea are provided.

The hostel is new and a few things are still being set up. It could use a few work areas and minor finishes that are being added. The mattress could be a bit firmer but everything was great overall.

As soon as I arrived my first impression was how beautiful the building was and how the staff were so lovely and welcoming. I got a private room for a really good price and the atmosphere of the hostel was like a big home- I loved it ! The big spiral staircase and my own private balcony where nice features :)

The owners are lovely people who try to help you with everything you need. The free breakfast is served in the café next door which is amazing. The homestay is very social and I've met lots of nice people. Next time when I come to Ubud I will definitively come again 😊

Owner and staff were very friendly!! I was sick and they drove me to the doctor and after that they frequently asked how i was doing/feeling and gave me recommendations of what i could do in the area. Really recommend this place!

Nothing - great place to socialise and orientate yourself with UBUD.

The location is very good, close to everything. The owner Ode is so nice and helpful. You can ask him anything.

Doesn’t have a sign yet so a little bit hard to find at the beginning but I think they will have it soon

My stay was so nice here, the hosts made me feel like family. So affordable and in the town center. Lynn had so many nice ideas for activities, ways to spend the day and restaurants to enjoy at night.
