Great staff and fast response service! For the location, idk why many people complaining about this, but for us this resort is pretty easy to find, not too far from the main road. Calm and quiet resort, surrounded by rice fields. My room is beautiful, the toilet is clean with the huge bathtub, much better from the photos. --Deluxe Room 802. The breakfast is very good and they have menu with affordable prices! Unfortunately when the Silent Day they have not enough staff and the said can't deliver the dinner to our room. But they delivered to other guests 🤭😅 Overall, The Alena is great experience to try!

The main attraction is the pool, the cleanest water we have ever tried. But need to find the timing to avoid crowded. The room is clean, but I'm sure it can be even cleaner especially the stains on the floor and blankets, and a few cobwebs in the corner of the roof. But that's not a big deal.

Amazing breakfast! The best one I have ever tried. The luxury villa was great. Very respectful and caring staff. There was even one health incident which the resort has solved very quickly and gave some benefits. Free yoga classes were also a good bonus. Additionally, the resort made a birthday surprise at the restaurant with a cake and song - the whole restaurant staff was singing the "Happy birthday" song for me. Good wi-fi. Overall, very nice stay!

Even though this is part of nature, I would note the availability of frogs and gekons in the villa. Maybe pesticides or non-harmful animal distancing methods would help. Also, the area around the hotel is not pedestrian friendly. Additionally, we had one more incident at a massage session, but the resort has promised to keep into account the privacy and ethical norms of guests.

We stayed in one of the luxury pool villas which was very beautiful. The grounds of the resort are beautiful and the food for the thematic dinners was tasty. Staff were helpful and having access to a spa was very good too. Appreciated the free shuttle to Ubud too. I’d rate it at 8.5 overall.

There are many details that were not up to expectations, for example: there was an issue with one of the sinks we had which was never fixed despite us flagging as soon as we arrived; breakfast and non-thematic dinners food was average (disappointing coffee and some fruit tasteless), Ubud is too far and there’s traffic all the time so it’d take about 30 mins to get there; too few shuttle trips to Ubud (I’d add at least a couple more late in the evening instead of overcharging guests for out-of-hours transfers); staff speak English, but there were a couple of lost in translation occasions; Villas are not sound proof really - we could hear one night the guests next door who were partying (?) and being very loud until 2am. Spa treatments quality varied.

Alena developed lots over the last few years. This time we booked a private villa with a pool. Breakfast was good, food in general was good. There is free shuttle to Ubud, there are two main pools on top on the private villa pools.

The experience provided to the customer needs to be improved. The tiny things that add up, for instance: - we were not given free drinks upon arrival, not that we needed it, but still - we ordered breakfast and delivered one pot of coffee, sometimes with 2 cups, other times with one cup only - sometimes water was missing from the room - sometimes the pool towels were soaking in the pool - the staff was informing us about things - the villa is NOT insulated, you can hear from your neighbours everything - no shower gel, just soap - quite far from Ubud in rush hour - no facilities around They were very friendly nad gave us free massages and a nice welcome home experience because there was still construction going on next to our villa and around

Beautiful and lush! all the tropical plants and surroundings just take your breath away! we stayed at 5 hotels on our Bali trip and this is by far my favorite! Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable! The private pool villas are a must! We booked our 2 hrs massages/body scrubs the night before and also early the next morning! The massage therapists are wonderful! The staff is super attentive! Make sure to bring your mosquito repellents! Don’t forget to get your malaria shots/pills before coming to Bali!

Road/entrance leading to hotel is quite narrowed and does not match this beautiful gem.

The hotel I stayed at was the best I've ever experienced! The staff were incredibly lovely, respectful, and nice, always going out of their way to ensure my comfort. I stayed there with my 1-year-old daughter and they provided us with all the support we needed. The restaurant was a 5-star establishment in my opinion. All the meals I ordered were prepared at the same time and were incredibly fresh. You could tell from the time it took to prepare and the taste of the food. I can't wait to go back to this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay.

I liked everything this hotel is perfect.

We had our wedding at the Alena on 20.5.23 and booked 15 rooms for our family and friends. The staff are the loveliest people you'll meet and are so accommodating to anything you could possibly need. The rooms, pools, day spa and grounds are flawless, the food in the restaurant is top quality, and the little extra touches from the staff made our wedding and our stay exceed everyone's expectations. Special mention to Dayu who was a pleasure to deal with. We've stayed at a lot of different hotels in Bali over many, many trips and the Alena Resort is the BEST one we've ever stayed in, we cannot wait to come back again!

Pool Villa Arjuna was awesome and the staff was so nice.

The resort is gorgeous. The gardens are luscious with local plants & flowers. The buildings are all made of stones, wood, bamboo and with a lot of attention to detail. Despite loving our suite, we upgraded ourselves to a separate villa and had our own pool, it was amazing and very private. The staff was super friendly & helpful. The breakfast buffet was delicious, there wasn't a buffet, but you have a choice of different choices of menu (continental, american, indonesian, healthy & alena special) and they veganised each dish where necessary for me (I chose the Indonesian & Alena menus). The food is delicious, very tasty. We had room service a few times and there are quite a few vegan options and they're all very very good and not too expensive (EU standards). The wellness/ SPA area was partly open and I loved hearing the noises of the 'jungle' next door as well as the nice breeze. I enjoyed the treatments I took. There is a small yoga platform which was also very nice to practice on in the fresh air whilst being covered from the sun. On my birthday, the staff offered me flowers and a cake, they even came to sing for me :-) So adorable. Special thanks to Sawri at the reception :-)

Breakfast was great. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a massage experience which was great. there are 2 pools which have plenty of space. Definetely we will stay there again preferring second floor rooms.

We went with our child and we were hoping we can sit and relax in the balcony while he was sleeping early in the evening. Unfortunately we got a room at the corner end of the property which did not have a view and the chairs at the lower floor balcony are not comfortable since they are made of a huge block of wood.
