Wow, what a beautiful property! I stayed in the Royal Pool Villa for 3 nights. Room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely pool and outdoor shower area. Staff were so polite and looked after me really well. Breakfast was delicious - I had a once-off complimentary upgrade to floating breakfast. There is also complimentary photoshoot around the villa and you get to choose your favourite photo - any more will be chargeable. Also had a lovely spa package as well - great massage and flower bath! There is also a free shuttle service to and from Ubud Palace/near monkey forest at specific times. Brilliant wifi stability here. Good quiet location next to a rice field, away from the bustle of the centre. A bonus for me is having a few dogs who regularly visit the reception area of the property to play with!

Airport shuttle to DPS is 500k IDR which is expensive.

I liked the resort. It is very well maintained. The location is a bit far around 30 mins drive from main ubud market which can be a plus for you if you want to stay in a cool and calm place. They have shuttles to ubud city center every 2 hours, so you can use that service.

Given that it is a five star property I did not like when they said that we can get only 4 water bottles (500 ml) per day for 2 persons which means 1 ltr per day per person which is too less. I think they should not have this limit. Water should be free.

Very serene property and location if you want to get out of the city life. Rooms are big and beautiful with a breathtaking view from balcony and the bath tub.

Food at the restaurant is not good at all. Its served cold and takes around 40-45 mins to serve food. Best option is to eat at multiple cafes and restaurants located in the city centre of Ubud. Breakfast is also rather disappointing.

Touch far from Ubud Center with the traffic being so bad. The road to the hotel could do with being sealed it’s terrible.

The entire resort is breathtaking. You really are one with nature, which makes the weather perfect. The pool are is one of the best I’ve ever seen. Not the longest pool but amazing to chill and sunbathe. But the best part is the staff, they are so welcoming and friendly, and really go beyond to serve you. Would like to mention specifically Dita and Suria from the restaurant. Coolest people in Bali.

Since it’s filled with nature, there are quite a lot of bugs, would be good to bring sprays and have expectations on that. The room door isn’t the best, because it has a fail safe if you scan the wrong card too many times, unfortunately my card keeps on failing and was locked out several times.

pest control must very difficult, because you are surrounded by all the greens. I find 2 spiders on my bed it was scary

Hotel staff were friendly, all our requests/dietary requirements were met. The hotel facilities are amazing, multiple pools with different depths scattered across the facility, the spa was nice and fit for purpose. Hotel offers multiple activities such as Yoga and hikes which are all free of charge in addition to meditation classes/Music therapy with professional instructors.

Breakfast was nice but not great. Hotel is located 20-30 mins from the center, although the hotel offers free shuttles, the drop-off/pick up schedule is very inconvenient, and if you request your own pick up time they will charge you extra (even though the shuttle car is usually dedicated to each group separately) MOSQUITO'S everywhere (This is not the hotels problem, unfortunately it comes with the beautiful views of greenery and rice fields) this will be common for most properties in this location

The staff was extremely caring, kind and helpful. I would like to thank the work of all staff but particularly of Suka, Ayu, Vera and Suria for making the difference, assisting and sorting issues always with a smile on their faces. I absolutely loved the suite room and the complimentary activities offered (you can do yoga, Pilates, Balinese offerings, Balinese cuisine, morning walks through the rice fields). They also offer free shuttle to Ubud Center if needed.

My stay was marvellous but if I could suggest the property few things would be: - fixing the road to the hotel - improving the candlelight dinner (I do not advise it, way too pricey for the menu offered and what it can be done in Bali for the price of 2 million rupees and also only one waiter shared with the whole restaurant is not enough for a good service flow) - if you opt for the suites, the pool area doesn’t have many sunbeds in the sun, would be nice to have another area where to relax by the pool in the sun the rest was perfect and I really enjoyed my stay!

The room was impeccable in almost every aspect, with only one downside: the sound insulation between the villas. Your peace and tranquility may hinge on the courtesy of your neighbors. As for the food, it's generally quite good and adds to the overall enjoyment. All in all, this is one of the best hotels we've stayed at in Bali and it's highly recommended for those looking for a luxurious escape.

I had an amazing stay for a relaxing few days. Great activities available and the yoga instructor Pebi was fantastic and adjusted her class everyday based on what people asked to focus on. The staff overall were amazing and took time to remember names and room numbers and were always friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay here again and easily recommend to anyone.

If you are looking to be close to the town of Ubud then this place is a little far away and can take 30 - 40 minutes to get into town. However, there was plenty to do around the resort and I only used the free shuttle bus once and did not have any issues with using it apart from a long trip on my way in due to traffic. This would not turn me off staying here as I preferred the quieter location overall.
