We entered the bar with all our luggage and were directly greeted by the owner who easily guessed that we were here for the B&B. He showed us around and brought us to the first floor to show us our room. Despite being on top of a bar, we were not bothered by the noise. The room seemed to be quite new. It was simple, but you get everything you need for a stop before continuing your journey. You can park your car for free in front of the bar. Good hot breakfast in the morning. We got the full Irish breakfast.

Obviously, the building is by a busy road, but the windows blocked enough of the sound to get a good night sleep. The walls on the contrary are a bit thin, we could hear the other guests in the hallway, but we were not bothered by that.

I had said at the time of booking that it would be late evening arrival. Absolutely no problem. Had car trouble on the way and was delayed for 2 hours. Again absolutely no problem to them. Great welcome. The room was a fine size, very comfortable with water tea/coffee making facilities. Great 2 nights, sleeping in a comfy bed. Breakfast was beautiful, fantastic choice, and staff were so helpful. Ideal location, great for touring the West, with bar and takeaway on the premises. Lovely music session on the Saturday. I can’t speak highly enough about the place.

I liked everything about this B&B. Rooms were exceptional clean and shower was excellent. Loads of clean fluffy towels. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows I wanted to buy them. Tea and coffee making facilities were well stocked. Great selection of food available on the continental breakfast. Very friendly host. Lovely bar below that has live music at the weekend. Great location as on main Donegal to Galway road for touring North & West of Ireland and close to beaches and hills. Looking forward to returning in the near future. Highly recommend.

The people, especially the lady serving breakfast was very kind and even went out of her way to help me. She watched my backpack when I was out, dried my clothes and she even cooked me a vegetarian Irish breakfast! You know who you are! I am very greatful for you :)

The rooms was a little dusty, and I saw some mold at the duche bottom corner of the cabinet. So I had to take some allergy tablet to not sneeze. But it seems to be a common thing that the standards of cleanliness in general here in Ireland is lower than in my home country...

We spent 5 nights in Morons B&B and really enjoyed it. The room was really clean with a comfy bed and a nice shower. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast every morning was delicious whether you want a cooked breakfast or just some cereal or fruit, there was a few options of each available. The location was great for us visiting the sights around Sligo and the beautiful Streedagh Beach is just a few minutes drive away. We would definitely recommend Moran's to friends and we hope to return ourselves in future. Thanks for a lovely stay! :)

Only a small thing, not a complaint, breakfast is served until 9.30am which we felt is a little early, even 10am would have been a nicer sleep in on our holidays! ;)

Liked the room clean n comfortable ,a bit cold when we arrived but we went out to where the staff recommended for dinner n when we returned at 8 pm the heating was on ,my companion forgot her hairstraightners so I asked the kind young man who checked us in could he get her a set ,he certainly did ,cant beat that for service, very good value ,nice staff over all we were very happy with our stay .

Staff very courteous. Bar downstairs was very nice, takeaway/eatery very good, room very cosy and comfortable, bathroom sparkling clean, breakfast fabulous (anyone serving beans with eggs get a big ✅ from me), great value. Very nice.

Very minor/tiny bit of road noise, but very quiet road at night. Rooms to the back probably better but view out was nice.

Excellent location for exploring Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal as on main Sligo road. Lovely spacious bedroom with comfortable bed, tea & coffee facilities and complimentary bottles of water. Excellent breakfast of freshly baked wholemeal bread and croissants, great selection of cereals, also yogurt, cheese, ham and lovely cuppa tea. Host was very friendly and helpful.

We love the spacious room with a very clean and luxurious bathroom. Also the take away food next door was a nice thing, cause at least we didn't have to walk far to eat after a long drive and hiking all day. A traditional pub was a lovely end of the day too.

The room was a bit cold, but we understand that with so much space in it it's difficult to keep it warm all the time and it wasn't so very bad.

breakfast was lovely, staff were great. We didn't spend much time here as we were just looking for somewhere to sleep but the time spent there was great.

I should have read the info properly and booked a room with a view of benbulbin- this was my own fault but if this is a public review please please look at the views. We were at the front of the B&B by the road. I feel like if we'd booked the back it would have been less noisy and much nicer to look at- again my own fault
