Size of the room for the money was great! Proximity to restaurants and shops was very good. The decoration and "vibe" of the place was excellent. They have a nice outside to sit in the property that has comfy chairs and beautiful art. The staff was VERY nice (family business). Our room was freshly renovated. The kitchenette was one of the reasons we chose the room and it was handy. (sink, fridge (with small icebox), microwave, kettle, dishes - no hotplate). The small size was nice.

It would have been nice to have had access to at least one streaming service (netflix, etc.). I got the idea from a new staff member that some rooms did have that but ours did not. While the breakfast was really quality, it was NOT a buffet so that's less to my liking (though others may not have that issue). Other than the access to a main street (Dizengoff) with restaurants and shops, it was a longer walk to many other "sites" (beach, Carmel market, etc.). In good weather this is a great place. In rainy weather it would not be as enjoyable for a long stay if you were on foot.

We didn’t know what to expect in Tel Aviv but the Arbel and the city didn’t disappoint. The hotel was lovely and the staff were exceptional. My husband and I can’t read Hebrew and when paying/trying to pay for our exit fees for the king Hussein border, the Arbel team we’re on the phone trying to help us. BIG thank you to them for taking the time to help us sort things out. As for the rooms, they were amazing! You even get delicious FREE coffee in the morning and ginger biscuits (to my husband’s great surprise). We hope to visit again and highly recommend the hotel. It’s close to everything you want to see without being in a noisy area.

we were traveling with my elder parents for their 60th wedding anniversary so we were looking for a place closed to restaurants and to stroll anytime with my mother’s wheelchair. this place met all our expectations as it is accesible for a collapsible wheelchair, has in-room kitchennet with a small dining room that met our needs. staff was incredible helpful and charming. a special note to the coffee machine and ginger cookies which brighten the start of the day.

the lift is rather small so my mother cannot use the wheelchair in the lift. she has to stand up and collapse the wheelchair

It is in a nice neighborhood with an energetic vibe, but the hotel itself is on a quiet corner away from the action. A 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The room was just as advertised. The price was good.

The shower was good, but like many European showers, it had a half glass “door,” so a lot of water got on the floor. Not a big deal, as there were plenty of towels to wipe up the water.

Yeruslav totally lived up to his glowing reviews. I arrived after midnight, and he proactively sent me very clear instructions on how to get hold of him. He was very welcoming when I arrived and made sure that I had everything I needed for the night and the next morning, despite the late hour. The room was spacious, quiet, and immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed.

The price was a bit steep for that level of accommodation and location, especially in comparison with similar hotels in other big cities. But that is probably due to the fact that Tel Aviv is a very expensive city in general, rather than anything specific to do with the hotel.

Perfect location right in the center of Tel Aviv nightlife (cafes/restaurants and bars) ... but tucked away just a one minute walk behind everything on a quiet street - so you get quiet but can easily and quickly get to anything you want. It's also an easy walk to the beach (the hotel provides towels for beach time), as well as bikes if you want to ride around. I love that parking is available at the Arbel if you need it - almost unheard of in Tel Aviv. The staff could not be more friendly or helpful - they make you feel at home and extremely welcome. Oh - and there's a cappuccino machine in the lobby that's there 24/7- wonderful!

I've been at this hotel multiple times - there's really nothing not to like. :-)

I travel a lot for work, and I’ve been to over 200 hotels around the world, and I can say with confidence that Arbel hotel is in the top 3 of those. It’s not too fancy; don’t expect luxury and extravaganza. It is located in the perfect spot if you want to experience TLV, the rooms are great, and the staff is simply incredible and accommodating, all with a smile and good spirit. We loved it there, and we will definitely come back. Highly recommend this place

Probably not suited for those looking for a fancy luxurious extravaganza - it’s not that kind of place and it’s not trying to be. Also I am not familiar with all the room sizes, if you’re coming with a big family you should ask for relevant rooms, I guess.

I stayed at this wonderful hotel on my last trip to Israel, in February 2020. I was very impressed with the accommodations, location and with the staff. Everyone was delightful, cordial, helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond to make my visit so much more enjoyable. The location is great. The room was very nice. I was traveling by myself, so it had everything I needed, and a kitchen as well. It was nice to have a good selection of Cable TV channels. The lobby and patio of the hotel is very restful, soothing, and comfortable. It was really nice to have a Expresso coffee machine accessible at all times, and comfortable chairs and couches in the lobby and patio area. Also, it was a nice way to meet other guests, and as always, the wonderful people who work at the hotel, always made my day more enjoyable, as they were always friendly and helpful, and made me feel welcome and at home.
