The check-in staff person, whose name I have unfortunately forgotten, was extremely helpful - providing me with a room optimized to viewing the area where Arabian Tahr are usually seen. The room was large and very comfortable, with all necessary facilities.

For a hotel in such a beautiful setting, it is a shame it spoils that setting with excessive and late noise and light... why not emphasize the values of the area, rather than fight them? Likewise, I cannot understand why the property is kept clean, but plentiful litter from the property is ignored as soon as it is over the fence - this is a real shame for such an otherwise beautiful area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good but needs more variety, such as adding Labneh and olives. However, my family enjoyed the breakfast there. The facilities are brilliant as a 4-star hotel. They have squash and Golf courts, besides other very interesting sports facilities. The location is fantastic during the summer. In the evening, you can sit at the outdoor cafes where there is a nice wind coming through (Don't go in the winter because you can't sit outside).

The water in the children's water park is cold, so there is no way my son can play there. Also, there are no rules in the swimming pool about the swimming clothes. Some customers swim with their clothes!!!

Excellent, unique location and views. Amazing entrance, lobby and dining room. Good facilities at swimming pool. etc. Comfortable room, with an original interior.

Since I know how the hotel originally was (I stayed here in 2006) I felt sorry that all these beautiful hanging plants had been removed during the Covid-period. Also, I noted that the maintenance could be more careful; holes in the shadow curtains, a defect at one of the wall outlets, and others signs of wear. It would be a pity if the original beauty of this place would be eroding further. Mercure as the new owner should take care to become a better steward for this building. It deserves more respect, than it is now receiving.

The main reason why anyone should choose this hotel is their location. It is simply amazing, the view is so good. We were lucky to witness the fireworks from the hotel which was undoubtedly the best fireworks experience I have ever had so 10/10 for that. The Breakfast was also very nice, plenty of options were there. Their pool was not temperature-controlled but overall, it was very nice. The pool slide was also perfect, we took it at least 10 times...:)

You have to be careful about the time when you arrive at the hotel, on busy days, they might close the road going towards the mountain peak. Quite a few people got stuck and could not move due to road closures. We ordered Pizza and Sandwiches, The pizza wasn't that great either. The overall feel of the hotel is of an old place, the bathroom flush is just the worst.

The views are wonderful. The staff are very friendly. It's an old hotel, but still comfortable. The pool is great for the kids. The restaurants are good and the food is reasonable priced. A little noisy due to all the families so if you want a romantic getaway, then perhaps ask to be tucked into a corner room.

The doors to the rooms have no brackets so they slam shut when left to close on their own. All through the night you can hear doors slamming as guests return to their rooms. It's a simple fix by the hotel, and would help limit the noise improving guests stay.

The food was great and rooms has ample space. the Room service is not expensive hence i loved ordering many items from it. From the security to the room service attendant, the staff was exteremely helpful. Only downsize was, the pool was closed for maintenance.

Should have mentioned on Booking.com that the pool was closed.

I loved the location,a spectacular view! Quiet and peaceful early mornings , holiday feeling at the poolside and a warm festive atmosphere in the evening's with music, night sky and city lights. Good breakfast- nice variety, fresh fruit and croissants where delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful throughout.

We were a little disappointed that you had to pay extra to play the games( table tennis, squash,foosball,ect). It would have been acceptable to me to pay a refundable deposit instead.

We loved the room very clean and comfortable. Amenities in the bathroom were awesome. We found a gecko in our bedroom when we first arrived and the staff immediately changed our room and even upgraded us to a higher category room which was awesome. The pool view was gorgeous. The hotel lobby is airy and stylish. We enjoyed a lovely dinner in the bar.

The cafe food and drink in the lobby is a massive letdown. We wanted to enjoy a nice breakfast, unfortunately the pastries we ordered were not fresh and the cappuccino I ordered was like a cup of hotel water with milk. Definitely need to improve on the quality of the food and coffee at the cafe.

Had a pretty decent stay. The breakfast was good, the dinner was awesome, and the location and the view were impeccable. We will definitely visit again in Summer to enjoy the water rides. However, this is a great place to stay and enjoy the multiple amenities. The rooms are big, and the place is full of kid's activities along with so many sports for adults.

However the hotel needs a renovation, the pool requires a temperature control, the lift access control system is too old and slow.

Well the location is amazing, away from the city and its noise, the pool is amazing, staff are friendly and the kids can have a blast playing there, you can also find a lot of activities to do with the kids in the hotel itself.

Breakfast was very poor, no diversity at all, if you are happy with only eggs or a waffle you will be good, to be honest I expected a much better breakfast at this price. the room I booked was Junior suite, the room is spacious however the furniture is very old and the carpets had stains from old age, the room should be renovated to match this price.
