Hotel is clean and rooms are big , room looks new and well maintained , very clean bathroom . Very close to main railway station to visit Venice - 10 min ride on the train to reach Venice and 5 min walk from Venice train to Piazzala-rome . Very Good value for the price

The neighberhood is not great , not feeling safe at late night to walk around , probbaly near any train station such a feeling happens (rome , paris , London ,....)

Extremely helpful and polite Front Desk Personnel. The lady at the reception took less than 5 min to provide us crucial ease-of-life information regarding travel. Even if we came completely unprepared, the way she explained the routes, bus/train/vaporetto routes was enough to make us feel comfortable to easily navigate around and never get lost. Seriously thankful for her tips! Great breakfast even in times of Covid where certain measures must be respected (you ask for food in the canteen, I asked twice for the mashed eggs and it was great). I'm a guy that doesn't get well fed easily but the breakfast was enough to keep me up until 3-4 pm which is something I always aim for. Everything's very tidy, clean, calm and a lot of space inside the bedroom and bathroom. The hotel is overlooking the busy crossroad but the sound/vibration isolation is more than enough to prevent any sort of inconvenience regarding this matter. The hotel's parking is 10 EUR/day, and they didn't count the third day which was another day we used to visit Venice (they could easily count it in but they only counted 2 days of parking because we stayed 2 nights). You have public parkings around too, which are more expensive iirc. Distance to BUS and train station is perfect (like 30 sec walk)! Train ticket is 1.35 EUR for 1 adult and it gets you to Venice faster than BUS, however with 24 hr Vaporetto ticket, you cover the BUS ride and any water BUS at Venice canals, so that's definitely better option price-wise if you plan to visit eg. Murano, Burano in the span of day or two.

The king sized bed is not the most comfortable bed we experienced, I prefer the mattress to be more soft. Good thing is that we came back after full day of Venice hopping which makes you so tired you'd even fall asleep on the ground. Another thing, I'm 182 cm, and my feet could stretch across the edge of the bed, but it didn't bother me so much. If you're over 200 cm, you will notice this. All this being said, I would and will definitely return to this hotel once I visit Venice again.

Our rooms were beautifully renovated with good lighting and nice stone finishes in the bathroom. Beds were comfortable and the windows were soundproof to enough to reduce intrusions from outside noise as the streets below are busy. I liked all the colors in the hallways as well. Conveniently located across the street from the Mestre train station for easy access to Venezia city for daily visits.

The coffee downstairs in the lobby was good but the cafe across the street has a much more busy and vibrant space for breakfast with more food options. Finding and getting to the fitness center was complicated.

Great location, just opposite train station, easy access to local restaurants, supermaket, bus station to the airport. Hotel room is very clean and modern.

From the moment we walked into the hotel we were made to feel most welcome. Jessica at reception gave us a wonderful welcome, made sure our check in was seamless and provided a room upgrade whuch was most welcome. All other staff on reception were also exceptional and answered all our queries in a friendly, competent manner. The room and bathroom were spacious and well presented and so much better than staying in Venice where room space always seems to be limited. To walk across the road from Mestre station was an absolute bonus. Access to Venice is €1.45 each way, takes 10min and trains seem to be leaving every few minutes. Overall, an excellent alternative to staying in Venice itself.

We were very satisfied with our stay at the Best Western Plus Hotel Bologna. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. We truly enjoyed the wide selection of food and coffees at the breakfast buffet which was included in the price of the room. The train station is located directly across from the hotel which made the trip to Venice from Mestre very convenient (2.9 euros one way for two people at the time of this posting). We enjoyed dinners at the hotel which were delicious and reasonably priced. There is a laundromat located not far from the hotel if you choose to wash your own clothes cheaply. There is also an exercise facility in the hotel which is simple but I'm glad they have as I like to stay in relatively good shape. Additionally, there is a supermarket (Ali Supermercati) located very near the hotel on Via Piave. I recommend buying any water or snacks there before venturing into Venice or for a late night treat in your room.

I can't complain about anything here. We enjoyed a comfortable stay. I recommend staying here as opposed to staying in Venice which can be crowded and noisy. You will also have modern conveniences that you may not have at the older hotels in Venice itself. Also keep in mind that Mestre is SATURATED with foreigners from all over so don't come here expecting to see only Italians.

Just a quibble - hotel bar closes early, so returning from Venice Central c 11p.m. you will find it closed. Also a lost opportunity for the hotel- the bar is v badly laid out, not inviting even when open

The hotel is extremely well positioned just in front of the Mestre central station. Everything is very clean and the room was big and comfortable, very quiet (as required) and luminous. They gave us an upgrade so the room was better than expected. We chosen to have breakfast for 10€ each and was pretty good with plenty of options. Check-out is at 12:00 and not at 11:00 as many other hotels. A very convenient option for short stays if you don’t want to stay inside Venice.

When you ask for “what’s the best way to go to” the answer was always “Taxi” which is not and neither the fastest in that area since there are buses, trains, vaporetti and people mover very reliable to use.

Location across the street from the train station-10 minutes ride to Venice. Modern design, nice staff. We were able to stay for late checkout untill 17:00 for additional 40 euros - very convenient. Decent breakfast.

There is parking but you need to pay. 15 euros for 24 hours.

Excellent location right across from the train station. Restaurants, bars, and grocery store within walking distance. Standard breakfast. Staff was nice. The room was much bigger than expected and extremely clean. We had a triple room (1 queen and 1 twin) which ended up being a one bedroom (queen) and the twin was in the main lart of the room. Kettle and mini fridge in the room.

We could hear the people next door since it was an adjoining room. I didn't feel comfortable/safe walking too far away from the hotel in the direction away from the train station. The hotel DOES have AC but it wasn't on due to the time of year (early May) so we had to open the windows to cool the room down.
