Before booking here, I did a lot of research into where me & my Mum could stay so we could gain the most authentic experience of Sicily and wow did we stumble across a gem. Within an hour of booking, Giuseppe had whatsapped me to thank me for our booking and said he was looking forward to meeting us and that he was at our disposal for anything we needed. In the week leading up to our stay, he arranged a boat trip completely hassle-free. On arrival, Giuseppe welcomed us so warmly. Giving us a full tour of the facilities and inviting us to the terrace for a complimentary welcome drink of a lovely sparkling Etna wine. He then sent documents with guides and tours available to book which was really helpful to plan our days. A stand out for us was that each morning, Giuseppe made a fresh traditional breakfast for us served at a time of our choice. Both mornings we were left in absolute awe of our breakfast and didn’t know where to start! Everything was absolutely delicious. We even had cheesecake made by his girlfriend which was a lovely touch. Our morning flight home meant we weren’t able to enjoy a breakfast by the sea, however, Giuseppe had thought of everything and got up early to make us warm rolls to eat at the airport. Throughout our stay, Giuseppe really was at our disposal. He drove us to and from our boat excursion - during which he waved to us from the balcony which we thought was a really lovely touch. He even bought us a refreshing Sicilian drink after our boat tour. Location of this accommodation is a little bit difficult to get to without a taxi. But don’t let this put you off as Giuseppe arranged taxis into Catania and back as well as our transfer to the airport. He personally drove us to Giardini Naxos for a cooking class we had booked at a lower rate than a taxi. Nothing was ever too much trouble! As far as the accommodation is concerned, it is immaculate. So well done, with beautiful touches everywhere.

Nothing other than what I outlined above which were absolutely not an issue

Santa Tecla, a gem born in the heart of Sicily, offered us an unforgettable four-night escape to paradise. Our hosts were nothing short of extraordinary—always there to lend a helping hand, their warm hospitality was a highlight of our stay. The breakfasts they prepared were a delightful daily surprise, featuring a tantalizing array of dishes, with a special shoutout to the heavenly granita. The rooms were not only spacious but also incredibly cozy, providing us with the perfect retreat after days filled with exploration. And oh, the view! It truly left us breathless, a constant reminder of the beauty of Sicily. We relished in the calm embrace of the sea during tranquil moments and embarked on exciting adventures to Taormina, Savona, Siracuzza, and Alcantare. As we reluctantly bid farewell to this enchanting haven, we made a promise to ourselves: when we return to Sicily, there's no doubt that our journey will lead us back to the warm embrace of Giuseppe and Santa Tecla.

Everything was absolutely perfect!

We had a great time at the “made in Sicily”. The house is around 30 min away from Catania airport and right next to the sea. I stayed there with my girlfriend for 8 nights. The village is calm with little traffic and a great place to calm down. Giuseppe was very hostile. He contacted me directly after booking and welcomed me with a glass of wine. The daily breakfast was local and fantastic. Giuseppe had a lot of tips and frequently asked whether we needed something. The room was beautiful and cleaned everyday. We’d love to come back one day and can recommend it.

The delicious and varied daily sicilian breakfast was outstanding. Most especially, Giuseppe's homemade granita was out of this world!Giuseppe and Chiara are incredibly kind and loving hosts who go above and beyond to help. It was definitely worthwhile to get up early to see the sunrise and the terrace is extremely stunning! The room had a comfortable bed, a large, spotless space, with a gorgeous ocean view. This location is truly a gem and we highly recommend staying here. Our expectations were definitely exceeded, and we will undoubtedly return since this was a highlight of our 2-week trip to Sicily. Everything about this Villa surpassed my expectations. A week before my arrival to the villa, Giuseppe WhatsApp’d me, asking if I need anything. It’s the little things that made such a huge difference in my trip to Sicily. I didn’t have to worry about how I was getting to the villa. I had a nice man with a sign waiting for me right at the gate; very smooth transition to the villa. At first arrival, Giuseppe was so warm and welcoming. He made the most delicious homemade breakfast, everyday something new and amazing. The most sweetest kindest man, helped me with everything I can ask for and more. The view was breathtaking and the private beach front was so peaceful and serene. Giuseppe’s father would play beautifully jazz music in the morning, over the balcony. It was like something from a movie, I wanted to move in. And he’s sweet mother so kind and gentle like my own nonie (grandma in Sicilian). The staff went beyond the usual, they treated me like family. Everyone was so warm and personable, they made me feel at home and comfortable. Even when there was no taxi to get to my Cousin’s wedding; Giuseppe personally took us in his car to this wedding. I can go on and on about how amazing this villa was, I will most definitely return to my second home in Sicily. I am still dreaming about Giuseppe’s homemade Granita!! Hands down the best place to visit, a gem of Sicily!

If we could, we'd give Giuseppe alone a 10/10. What an amazing person. He greeted us with positiveness and an incredible breakfast everyday in the morning. My wife is expecting and he made sure he took care of her dietary concerns. We are very grateful having met him and we will remember the BnB because of his kindness. The views from the terrace are amazing.

There are a bunch of cameras in the property which were a bit unnerving. The strict rules about bringing food back to the room were a bit over-the-top.

The breakfast was amazing, each day Giuseppe prepared a new different local Sicilan breakfast that was very tasty and prepared with care. He is such a great host and took really good care of us while we stayed at Made in Sicily

There is nothing that we did not like. We definitely recommend staying here. Giuseppe and Ciara are both amazing people and great hosts. Giuseppe took good care of us and helped with a lot of recommendations of places to see, what to do each day and he just spoiled us very much. We would definitely come back here in the near future.

The staff were amazing and the breakfast was fantastic. Every morning we got something new to try very fresh and homemade. The room was very clean and spacious. We will be definitely returning again. Thank you for making us feel at home.

There wasn't anything we didn't like.

this is an excellent B&B! top quality service, spacious room, modern bathroom with excellent shower, daily room cleaning and towel change. The breakfast is outstanding, with a rich assortment of sweet pastries, meats and cheeses, bruscetta, and daily surprises such as arancina. Freshly prepared almond milk, orange juice and fresh fruits. The hosts is very friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. And if this is not enough to convince you, there is the location: a large terrace overlooking the sea, where we had breakfast every morning. A set of steps leads to a door which opens up to the lavarocks below, and the sea.

nothing actually. A very small suggestion (but i feel almost embarrassed to suggest it) is to provide the guest with a small complementary bottle of water as not everybody is comfortable with drinking chlorinated tap water.

Amazing place, the best on out trip across Italy and Sicily- beautiful apartment with terrace with stunning view, gorgeous garden with private access to to sea, incredible breakfasts, very good restaurants just next door and absolutely dearest and most willing owners we’ve met.
