Our stay at Torre Saracena was wonderful from the warm welcome by the owner to the excellent accommodation and facilities. We loved the hillside location with amazing views and peace & quiet of being in the countryside. Being newly refurbished, the building incorporates every guest comfort and is stylishly decorated. We slept very well in the comfortable bed with quiet airconditioning. Breakfast was generous with plenty of choice for all types of preferences. There is an evening bar service to relax watching the sunset. Highly recommend this accommodation and wish the owners every success.

Whilst our hotel stay was perfect, we experienced a nerve wracking journey through nearby Favara to go for our evening meal. It was easy to take the wrong turn through narrow streets. Another choice of restaurant was offered which might have been easier!

This is a brand new small guest house, beautifully designed and the most striking building in the valley. The owners were super helpful, and booked us into a great restaurant where they were eating themselves, it was excellent. The breakfast is a cold collation, but comprehensive and delicious. TV was modern and connected and able to run our our own Netflix. Ten minute drive from Valley of the Temples.

A few teething problems, in this brand new guest house. Our shower didn't drain causing a minor tsunami sorted with most of our towels, and there isn't anywhere to hang towels in the bathroom.

Breakfast was a traditional Sicilian fare - cured meats, cake, canoli etc on a large table where you serve yourself. There was plenty of food and coffee for everyone. The owners are a husband and wife and they were really accommodating and lovely, with good restaurant tips locally and in Agrigento. The accommodation is completely new - a refurbished Masseria, so everything is clean and new. Big bedrooms and bathrooms.

The only feedback is that the owners seem to be fairly new to hosting, and could consider offering a bar or traditional dinner meals e.g. even a pizza oven etc. This may all be coming as they grow their business - a pool is on the cards, which would be a welcome addition. The location is a little out of the way, but easy enough to find - beware of the treacherous Sicilian roads! They really need to address this as they are quite dangerous, both nearby and the driveway to the Masseria.

EVERYTHING! What an amazing place. Salvatore was so welcoming and made us coffee on our arrival, checked us in and helped us with restaurant recommendations for that evening, phoning and reserving a table and he even let us follow him down and introduced us to the retaurant owner. The hotel is superb apparantely 12th century and has been restored to perfection with such attention to detail. Although the property is old it has been refurbished in a very modern style. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the air conditioning is a much welcomed addition. The breakfast was very good with a great selection of items. There was a small balcony on our room and the view across the countryside is stunning. The bed was very comfortable and it was so quiet and peaceful, we stayed for 2 nights and would have happily stayed longer if we could. There is private parking for the hotel, the car park is a little rough and bumpy but if you drive carefully it's no problem. I would definitely recommend Masseria Torre Saracena to anyone visiting the area.

The family who owned the property are so friendly and helpful. Loved the views from the balcony. The stone work and renovations of the old building are amazing. It was quiet and relaxing Comfortable beds .

I would have liked tea or coffee making facilities either in our room or large dining space. To far to nearest town if you just wanted to stay home and relax all day. To much sweet stuff for breakfast, would have preferred some boiled eggs.

Lovely place on the countryside if you'd rather escape the city, but still close enough to Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. It's a new place, very well maintained with parking outside. Every room has a fantastic view overlooking the village and towards Agrigento, which is lovely in the morning and evening. I'm sure this place is stunning for weddings too. Breakfast was amazing, lots of local delicacies and even nuts from the own trees. We stayed on the 2nd floor, there is no elevator but they help with luggage so no problem. As in many places we stayed, the hosts speak mainly Italian, but with some bits and pieces of English and Frech non problemo! Overall tutto bene, would definitely come back again!

where to begin. the property is an old tower with a lot of history transformed to a hotel with a lot of style and class. the rooms are minimalistic and beautiful with a marvelous sunset. the breakfast is based on local products, our suggestions is the muesli/cereals with nuts from the trees behind the hotel. the owner, Salvatore, is a very kind and helpful person and you can see and feel that he manages this little business with a full heart. the hotel has 8 rooms, therefore the stay is very intimate. also possible for a stay with a big family. will definitely come back again. grazie, Salvatore!

This accommodation as well as the host was absolutely divine; the property was beautiful; exceptional quality and spotlessly clean; the breakfast was plentiful and varied; the room and bathroom were perfect; very high quality and beautiful; the private parking on site was great; the surroundings were beautiful. Would highly recommend; very close to Agrigento centre and away from crowded streets; would definitely return.

Everything excellent; wish we could have stayed longer; short stay due to our travel dates.

Fantastic breakfast. Spacious room and bathroom, all new, extremely clean and well appointed. Great view. Liked the French doors in the room and outdoor space outside the property. Enjoyed cocktails and wine on the terrace when we returned from dinner in nearby Favara. Amazing historic building, beautifully renovated.

Highly scented 'reeds' were in our room. Room fragrances should not be used by any hotelier as many people have allergies. Oddly they were not present in our friends' room.

Salvatore and his wife (and Bea - their daughter - too!) are very good hosts. They are extremely friendly and helpful and treat you as a family member! The place is fantastic and stylish. The view is amazing and the place is only a few minutes away from the Valley of the Temples and Agrigento city centre.

Nothing wrong with it really! Perhaps the rooms will benefit from a coffee table with a couple of chairs and a sheet that resume all information.
