We had a truly wonderful time staying at Astra B&B, and it was made all the more special by the lovely host, Anna-Maria, who was an absolute pleasure to deal with, prior to, and during, our stay. The accomodation that we booked was a traditional trullo, and was pleasantly cosy, incredibly clean, and boasted a beautifully designed interior. The breakfast was lovingly prepared by Anna-Maria each morning, with the fresh goods all sourced from local farms and vendors in the area. Definitely the perfect way to start the morning! The accomodation itself is in the heart of Alberobello, and convenient to all the local sights of this beautiful commune. It is rich in both culture and history. The property has a large garden making it a tranquil and sweet getaway from our busy day of exploring all that Alberobello had to offer! As we had our own vehicle, Anna-Maria escorted us to a safe parking location approximately 5 minutes walk from the property, which was free. We were in love with everything that the accomodation offered. We would definitely stay at Astra B&B again, and highly recommend staying if you’re in Alberobello! Thank you to our new friend, Anna-Maria, for the most incredible stay to date!

The Trulli house was beautifully maintained, very clean, quiet and comfortable. Each morning we had a great Puglian breakfast, including locally hand made cheeses, cured meat slices, fresh seasonal fruit, yogurt, bread, jams and a number of locally made sweets. They were delicious! The owner Annamaria was a great host who was very helpful with our travel plans and knowledgeable about the historical Trulli area which was about 100 meters away. We enjoyed relaxing in the spacious front yard in the afternoon shade of 300 year old olive trees. In our opinion, the booking.com rating in the very high nines accurately reflects the quality of this accomodation

We had the best 2 night stay in the Lux Trulli house at Astra. The accommodation was comfortable, with perfectly cool AirCon. It was wonderful staying in this unique property. AnnaMaria is an exceptional host, bending over backwards to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The breakfast is superb, filled with local produce and the garden is beautiful and relaxing. The car parking was easy and free thanks to Anna Maria. She also gave us some great local restaurant recommendations. We 100% recommend this experience.

Astra is a truly exceptional B&B. It all begins with the host, Anna Maria. She is a truly lovely person who greets you as if you are a long lost cousin. She contacted me immediately after booking to introduce herself and offer assistance making dining reservations. Upon arrival, she took me on a stroll through the center of Alberobello, pointing out various restaurants and shops of interest and orienting me to the different sectors of the town. The breakfasts are traditional and feature delicious mozzarella, prosciutto, and pastries from a Martina Franca pasticceria. Parking, while not immediately adjacent to Astra, is available a short walk away and it is possible to park short-term in front of Astra to load and unload luggage. The best part is that you are staying in a trulli house that has been in Anna Maria's family for generations. Her pride in the superb condition of the property is evident and well-earned. A stay at Astra is a truly special, exceptional experience and I hope to return.

We loved everything about the place. The host Anna Maria is an amazing and helpful woman. There is nothing you ask and Anna will not help. The place is charming, beautiful, clean and in a perfect location. Rich breakfast with fresh and delicious local food. There is free parking nearby. In conclusion, a perfect vacation

There is not a single thing not to love

Amazing hospitality from a lifetime local! Incredible bucket list experience sleeping in a thousand year old Trulli! Awesome welcome! Memorable delicious breakfasts — month of lettuce salads after this trip!! Perfect quiet location in the heart of everything, but away from the hordes of tourists. Peaceful large private yard with thousand year old historic olive trees. Magical host and place to stay! Highly recommend!

The room is in an ancient Truillo and is very spacious and clean with very good amenities in the heart of the town. Easy walk to the attractions. Free parking nearby. The hostess Anna Marie was very hospitable, friendly and provided an excellent and inclusive breakfast. No request was too small to accommodate. Spent two nights exploring the town and eating at fine restaurants. Took a tour on a golf cart like vehicle with a local guide. Followed the hostess’ recommendations and enjoyed our stay immensely.

A little tricky to find but once there no need to move the car as the location was perfect.

This was our favorite stay in Italy so far! The host, Anna Maria, became like family. She was the sweetest person and took time to show us the grounds, explain to us the city, make a scrumptious authentic breakfast. You rarely find a host like this. She is the sweetest. The Trulli was such a remarkable place to sleep in for two nights- very historical. This one in particular was beautifully decorated by the host, comfortable bed, AC, stunning bathroom. It also had a secret garden feeling outside! Was BEAUTIFUL

Staying at Anna Maria was such a special treat! the rustic feel of staying in a trullo while having all the modern furniture and utilities made our stay extra special. We loved everything about this trip, the suite had everything we needed. The breakfast was always fresh and delicious. The location was very central yet very quiet and secure.

Anna Maria was the best host we could’ve hoped for, she was super helpful, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. It was such a cool experience staying in an authentic Trulli and Astra had a beautiful atmosphere with a common area and garden. It was also super clean and the beds and pillows were really comfortable.
