If you're spending few nights in Ancona and you need to move around on train, the location is great as it is right opposite to it. If you're spending more time around the city you can take buses or just walk 30 min. I was worried about safety at night but the area is quiet and well lit. There's staff 24/7 so that's very handy and bring safety as well. Before booking I had read some complaints about noises. I only heard guests opening doors and going up/down the stairs but it didn't impede sleeping at all. They provide blankets, bath and hand towels, soap, shampoo&conditioner. Everything was clean, they cleaned my room as I was staying there, and blankets and towels are impeccably white. The room had a small desk and chair, wardrobe with hangers and drawers, and an extra pillow and quilt. I wasn't expecting much for the price and comments but apart from the bathroom observations, I had a good stay.

I don't know how are the other rooms. In mine, the only thing that was a bit strange to see was that the bathroom was separated from the bedroom not by a proper door but a pleated sliding one that didn't cover the whole floor-to-ceiling space, therefore it wasn't really separated and you may get the normal bathroom features (steam from the shower and smell from the bathroom, if any. Fortunately not my case). Also, which surprised me more than the door, there was a bidet in the bedroom space. I don't consider this very hygienic. Even if it's the cheapest option I chose, I don't mind having the lavatory sink in the toom but definitely not the bidet.

Location amazing if you are arriving with the Train. Only 20 minutes away from the city centre. Staff was lovely and very cheerful. Room clean and pretty nice. Lovely water pressure. 24 reception saved me due to train delays. Overall satisfied.

Luggage storage after check out would be nice. The bathroom was a little old. A bit of noise from the train station but it is not that bad. But over all fine.

Great value. Reminds me of old school hotels. For the price EXCELLENT value and I walked out of the train station across the street and I B was there. Felt very safe even at 12:30 a.m. Staff accommodated my late arrival and buzzed the door open for me. Staff (older than me but definitely with a better hip) helped me carry my suitcase up the stairs.

Be prepared, quaint old buildings, high ceilings, lots and lots of steps. A small room fan is always the way to my heart.

The hotel offers a 24h reception so whenever you get off your train you can immediately enter the hotel and check-in. The staff was nice and the room clean

Might be a bit expensive compared to other places but the location is perfect so it kind of makes up for it

1-Location 2-Spotless ultra white sheets and towels, soft and comfy. 3-Roberto and his brother were very attentive. 4-Big nice room. Clean bathroom and good quality shampoo and soap. 5-Daily cleaning. No carpets, clean shiny floors. 6-Fast internet. TV 7-Phone to call reception.

For the price of the room you can’t ask for more. The room was super clean with fresh sheets, towels etc. Shampoo, soap was also provided. Yes, the room maybe is a bit dated but if you’re looking for clean and comfy bed just to sleep then this is the hotel just for you. Location is just perfect. It is a bit noisy due to window is going out ti the Main Street, but hey ho , that’s Italy , it’s always noisy and loud , and that’s the whole Italian magic m. Staff at reception went beyond to try to communicate with me, baring in mind their English is the same bad as my Italian skills, we’ve managed to pass the most important messages , no troubles at all. Both day and night staff were super polite and very friendly .

The only one thing which I didn’t like that much was the fact that you’re unable to open the window shutters and there’s a lack of more fresh air flow

The location of the hotel is excellent - right in front of Ancona's train station and bus stops, from where you can easily get to other places such as the airport and other cities. The room was spacious, cleaned daily, with a wardrobe, bathroom, TV, table and comfortable beds. Additionally, the staff was very nice. This is a very good place where you can stay during a few days trip to explore the city and its surroundings. The nearby train station and a busy street do not interfere with relaxation at night because you can hardly hear the noise. The price for staying at this hotel is very good.

I stayed there for one night because i missed my train, the location is great directly in front of the train station, the staff were nice and welcoming, the room was very clean and also the bathroom I highly recommend it.

Could not fault this hotel for clean basic good value accommodation. My single room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfy and the shower was good. It’s an old building and my room had lots of old fashioned character including a lovely old cast iron radiator and attractive floor and wall tiles. It’s not in a particularly nice part of the city but it’s right opposite the main train station with easy access to buses and taxis as well as numerous eateries to suit every budget. I really enjoyed my two night stay and will definitely return next time I’m in Ancona.

I had to leave my key in the reception before going out. So I had to be back by midnight otherwise I couldn’t get in since the reception would be closed.
