Everything! The host, Sara, welcomed me and made sure I was Comfortable. My room was very clean, quaint, and very comfortable. She made a generous, fresh breakfast with great caffè each day. Sara has full knowledge of the history of Arezzo and her love for the town shows. She is helpful in planning what to see. Her knowledge of art makes the visits to the great masterpieces there a true enlightening experience. Follow her recommendations for restaurants. She willead you to fantastic local places with food that .ages you hum while you eat. I will definitely stay here again.

Sara the host and owner was very friendly and provided excellent recommendations for food, history and sight seeing. Sara prepared a lovely breakfast and was very helpful in providing instructions to access the property from the Car park. There are a series of escalators that help one to move their luggage from the car park to the property. There are two car parks on the North side - one paid and one free.

Everything was excellent and met my expectations.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at de’Montetini which is located in the heart of historical Arezzo and convenient to everything. Our deluxe room was spacious, comfortable and extremely pretty. A generous breakfast of savoury and/or sweet food was served in the cosy breakfast room was a great way to start each day. Sara, our amazing host, was a delight and made us feel so welcome. She also provided lots of information and helpful hints. As there are only 3 bedrooms, de’Montetini has an intimate atmosphere and became our ‘home away from home’. We were sad to leave.

The location is outstanding, only 150 metres from the Duomo and 250 from the Piazza Grande and San Francisco. Everything is within easy reach. The room was a perfect size, immaculate, delightfully quiet and cool despite the near 40C heat outside. The breakfast, ordered to taste, was heroic in scale and delicious. Sara the host is cheerful, hugely enthusiastic and most helpful with local information. Strongly recommended for a couple wishing to see the lovely small city of Arezzo. Long stay car parking is available 7 minutes walk away at Via Giuseppe Pitri (E5/day) using the public escalators to avoid the climb and a handy short cut through the Duomo cloisters. If you send Sara your vehicle number she arranges permission to bring your car into the restricted area and to the door to drop and collect cases.

Although this suited us ideally, it wouldn’t be a good choice for anyone with impaired mobility. The street from the centre is quite steep, and the house has no lift.

In a charming B&B in the centre of historic Arezzo, it was the owner’s warm demeanour that made us feel instantly at home. With her professional knowledge of art and architectural history, Sara took the trouble to point out Arezzo’s top cultural sites, and offered to make us dinner reservations at her recommended restaurants. The next morning, we woke up to a lovingly prepared breakfast of cakes, breads, cereal, cut fruit, yogurt and marmalades. Over the best cappuccino in Tuscany, we thanked the kind owner for an incredibly warm welcome to a surprisingly lovely city.

Well located near the main sights of Arezzo; room was spacious and comfortable and there was plentiful hot water for showering. Wi-fi good. Sara was very pleasant to deal with,and made sure we had an ample breakfast and was always receptive to our questions. She obviously works hard to make sure guests feel comfortable.

A few stairs to negotiate up to the property but nothing major (and Sara even helped carry the bags!). No complaints at all, would happily stay here again.

Sara was a wonderful host - kind, friendly, and helpful. She made me feel at home. The room a d bathroom and breakfast room were all spacious, spotless, and comfortable. Breakfasts were exceptional- generous and delicious. The location was also great - close to everywhere in the historical centre. I felt completely at home and on the house of a friend.

Soulful, thoughtful design that makes you feel at home. There are many small touches to making you feel good about being a guest there. Delicious breakfast with great choices. Spotlessly clean, Sara, the host goes beyond what you’d expect to make you feel welcome and helps you out with ideas, information about the town. She’s particularly knowledgeable about the history of this area.

Sara the owner was wonderful. Friendly, helpful in every way, and a lovely person. She made a stellar breakfast. My husband enjoyed chatting with her in Italian She knows Arezzo backwards so had a lot of good recommendations,

I expected a cooked breakfast (eggs), but everything served was store bought and served cold. Cakes, fruit salad, charcuterie etc. Very nice service but that could be improved.
