Stunning views. The superior room with the terrace over the valley view was absolutely beautiful. Views from the pool also lovely. Good range of food at breakfast with extremely helpful and courteous member of staff. Both the salt bath experience and the massage were excellent. Super clean everywhere. Lovely comfortable bed and bed linens. Fantastic location for Val d’Orcia.

The on-site restaurant menu for lunch and dinner was not good for vegetarians, also there were not many healthy interesting options although the view from the dining terrace was sublime!

The rooms were comfortable clean and spacious . The bathroom was great with a large shower . The bed was comfortable.. we especially loved our terrace with a view over the valley . All the staff from housekeeping to the front desk to the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. We did take advantage of the wellness center. The pools , saunas and salt room were the perfect answer for relaxation after a month of travel . The location is absolutely perfect. The surrounding beauty is indescribable. And all the beautiful hill towns nearby are easily accessible.

Everything was perfect

This is a first class destination resort that has everything when could want. It felt a little formal and her and the people at the desk seemed overworked. But the most amazing thing happened when we ask directions to a gas station, an employee who was not on his working shift, told us to follow him, he would take us all the way to this gas station! Wow, we were amazed! But! That’s not all. When we left, my husband forgot to put his credit card away, and they notified us several hours later, as soon as it was found. We asked them to destroy it which they did, and there were no charges made on that card. We were amazed and reassured!

At first the atmosphere felt a little formal, but then we loosened up. We also found that when people came into their rooms, the scraping of the furniture on the tile floors was very noisy

This was an opulent first class, hotel with all of the amenities, really gorgeous views, and very close to the little town. The people at the desk seemed a little stressed, and , at first, didn’t seem to have time to answer our questions. But then a man who worked there, actually took the time to drive his car out so that we could follow him to a gas station! We found that extraordinary, but then, after we left, they notified us that we had dropped a credit card! We called them, and they were very reassuring to us, as we asked them to destroy our card, which we then canceled. Such honesty and quick action really impresses us! What a wonderful place!

The property is located at a walking distance from San Quirico d’Orcia and the famous gladiator house. The fact that they have a restaurant is a big plus for when you arrive in the evening, also the view over the Tuscan hills is amazing! We also very much enjoyed the pool. It was a great base to visit Val d’Orcia. Overall the accommodation is amazing in terms of facilities and location and I highly recommend it!

A beautiful location with lots of outdoor spaces to relax in, to soak in the sun, and magical view of the surrounding landscape. Wished we had stayed longer. Excellent breakfast and easy parking was a bonus.

The settee in the living area was not particularly comfortable and fitments in the bathroom fell off the wall including toilet roll holder and towel holder. This was a little disconcerting!

Not much hot food and Scrambled eggs not great. The gym equipment was poor Hotel Gardener playing rock music and using loud garden machinery, at 8am in the morning!

Excellent facilities, grounds and view from terrace and pool, great breakfast. Location central to many wonderful Tuscan towns and walking distance to San Quirico d'Orica.

No place in the bedroom loft to hang clothes or place even a small suitcase.

Location was amazing. We had our own terrace. Good restaurant next door. It is all about the view. We didnt try the pool but i am sure it is good.

Room looks dated and the bed is on a mezzanine which was a bit nerve racking. Wifi not the greatest

The terrace from our room gave superb views of the Val d'Orcia. The restaurant next door was owned by the hotel and was very good but booking for lunch especially is essential. This can be done through the hotel.

This is a tricky site for someone who is disabled, as I am.
