The hotel is really nice. It has nice energy about it. The decor just works, and it put a smile on my face. The sheets were incredible, most luxurious sheets I've slept in at a hotel, I think. It's quite easy to get to also. The staff were very friendly and lovely and very helpful, which made me feel very welcome to the hotel and Italy 🇮🇹

By no means the hotels fault, but next door had a family, and they were up very early screaming, yelling, slamming doors like they were at a fun park and not once asked to be quiet. The walls are very thin, and guests can be heard easily along with dozens of door slams and conversations when people come and go. If you're after a solid sleep, it's unlikely. The room was very warm, especially the bathroom. Overall, I still liked it ✨️

Nice large room with large window letting in plenty of natural light. Very clean, bathroom was about an average size for Europe. Location was great for us because we were traveling to see all the automotive museums in the area (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, Maserati and Ducati) which are all in the small towns to the Northwest of the city.

So there way clearly something going on with the plumbing in the wall directly behind the bed. The first night we had no issues and then the second night we kept hearing a banging every time the room either above or behind us flushed the toilet. We didnt hear it the first night so I'm assuming that room that was causing the problem was empty but our second night was horrible. And there is no reception to get ahold of after 11pm so we couldn't say anything until the next morning.

Because of our flight was very early in the morning, this hotel was the greatest option for us. Comparing the accessibility to the city center of course it was too far. If I would have another connecting flight or departure one from that destination this hotel would be selected !!

The only part that dissatisfied me and my colleagues was the distance to Bologna's city center. Especially the night buses had not good connections and the routes were rare as well. But going to the city center was very easy, taking the one and only bus 87 which left us direct there.

The hotel is very close to the Bologna Airport, just 5 min taxi drive. Also, bus station is next to the hotel, so it's convenient for going to city center and back. The family room is big and spacious, and it's comfortable for family of four. The breakfast is simple but OK, we only took it for one morning. But, you might need to remind the staff about the charging price of breakfast for kids

The room was spacious, but the bad and linen was not so comfortable for winter stay. Also, the family room was on a top floor and had only ceiling windows that are practically useless during rainy days.

* My comment below is not the Hostel's fault, just some good to know info.. 😉 The Bus from the Airport to the Hotel (Bus 54) only operates until 19:30, If your flight arrives after that time you have to take the Taxi from the Airport to the Hotel, The travel time is about 20 mins & the Taxi Fare is around €20.

this is a traditional hotel. I liked it. It felt clean and safe. The staff at reception were friendly. Opposite shopping centre and close to bus stop for centre of Bologna.

We arrived late with our car and could not get a parking space. We had to park on the road and move it in the morning. There were other guests with the same issue.

What a charming hotel! Our flight into Bologna didn't arrive until 1am. We were at the hotel within 10 minutes and the self-check in was well organized and easy. We are a family of four and the room was spacious with each of our teens getting their own bed. The room was spotless and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious and convenient. Also, the staff was super friendly and helpful. We wanted to go into town for the day before heading to our next destination. They were happy to store our luggage and keep our rental car in the lot.

The hotel is in an excellent location, close to the airport, restaurants and markets. It is comfortable and convenient. Also, everything is very clean! The staff is fantastic!!! Alessandro was very quick at check-in, very kind and recommended us a good restaurant. He also made me fantastic coffee. Micaela was also very kind and professional. She printed out our plane tickets. She also made coffee, but for my sister. At Hotel Del Borgo we felt like at home! I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!!!

Friendly staff. Clean and tidy hotel. Excellent breakfast. Good parking in the hotel yard. The hotel is about 8 km from the center. The center is easily accessible by car (or taxi).

Our room was close to the reception and there was a lot of noise from the guests. Taxi in Bologna can be a problem, all vehicles will be busy (due to return to the hotel).
