Very nice and stylish hotel. Location is great for Cagliari exploring. We really liked the facilities of the hotel and our room. Soooo comfy and nice furniture. Comfy bed and lining. Breakfast was served in a beautiful setting.

Parking is not available but this is probably problem in whole Cagliari. We were a little confused about breakfast. Firt day the menu was given to us and we can choose - eggs, omelete, ... The second day we did not get menu and we choose only what was prepared on table - mainly sweets. We were not hungry so we did not ask - just info for you.

we really liked breakfast and the size of the room and the bathroom. The location was very convenient as well, and the staff was very nice and helpful.

The mattress of the sofa bed was really uncomfortable, making it almost impossible for someone to sleep in. The mattress was very hard. it would be a good idea to change the sofa mattresses.

The rooms are very clean and the beds comfortable. The staff are extremely nice and welcoming. Very good breakfast and very good location walking distance from all the main attraction and the train station.

Nice hotel near the old town. Room was nice, updated bathroom, different colour scheme in each of the rooms. Good breakfast, nice staff. Little bit hard to find the first time but not really a problem.

Bathroom needs better lighting and some more towel bars or hooks.

The place is really nice! Its location is perfect - you can see the city completly on foot, everything is very close. When you want to go outside the city, the bus stops and train station are around 5 minutes from the hotel. Rooms are nice and tidy. Everything what necessary, you gonna find there. Breakfast - OK but we're not much in sweet, continental breakfasts. If somebody is - we'll be delighted because selection of sweets, fruits or juices is huge:) For a few days visit - highly recommended :)

It's not much like a problems or sth. we didn't like. General tips maybe I would call: 1/ TV - there are hundreds of channels but we couldn't find any in English. We weren't here to watch TV but to have at least some BBC or CNN seems like a standard worldwide. 2/ Bathroom is really nice but could be more "practical", like too short shower = wet floor everywhere after bath or big sink with no place to put anything next to it.

This accommodation is on the 2nd floor but they do have a lift for the luggage. I would describe the hotel as a boutique hotel. Small, beautifully decorated reception and communal areas, even the hallway, was very stylish. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was everything you would want from a continental, including fruit, yogurts, and cakes. Coffee menu extensive. There is an option of having a hot breakfast for a small additional charge. The breakfast room overlooks the marina. Perfectly located. The bed I have to say is probably the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Safe, minibar and hospitality tray in the room.

Great location and very nice staff. No noise, so we could sleep well. The hotel is situated on the second floor of an old palace, but the room is modern and newly decorated. The location is perfect for visiting the city, as well as for going on trips outside the city, since it is just a few minutes away from the main bus and train station. Also convenient if you are coming from the airport. There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops around. Nice view from the hotel balcony.

I wish we had at least one chair in the room to put our clothes on. We knew the room would be small, so it did not bother us, but what we missed was a chair.

Very central. We never used the car once we arrived - were able to get to everything by walking. There is no parking by the hotel, but you can park at the ferry terminal directly across the street. Reception was very helpful (Eg: tip about the parking) and breakfast was good. The shower in our room was probably not correctly constructed as water ran all over the floor in the bathroom (was a plastic strip - apparently glued in as an after thought to prevent water from running over the floor, but it did not work very well). We just put the used towels on the ground to make sure the bathroom was not slippery. Probably most annoying for the cleaning crew.

We loved our stay at Birkin Porto 1870! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. The espresso was perfect. Location of the hotel is also great if you’re looking to be right in the center of Cagliari. Whenever we had questions or wanted recommendations for things to do, the staff was always super helpful and kind.

The room and bathroom were slightly smaller than expected, but otherwise everything was great.

The wallpaper in the room was wonderful and the decor is amazing. Location could not be better. Breakfast was okay but no vegan options. The common room has a very nice view of the marina and is worth the stay. The staff is super friendly.

The shower and sink were both leaking, so for most of the time we had water on the floor in the bathroom. The bed for the third person was very small, hard and uncomfortable. There was not enough toilet paper. Also the parking in front of the hotel is not for free, which is not a problem, but the hotel is listed as if it has its own parking which it does not have. There are public parking spots which you have to pay for, again not a problem but one of the reasons why we booked the hotel was because of the parking.
