Personal was so Nice! I really appreciated friendly personál in hostel Marína! Hostel IS basically in center, which IS hughe advantage. Right next to the hostel is Cuban bar,which IS the best! Also restaurant in front if hostel is greate. For nôt so manh money you will get a lot of good food. Breakfast, included in price, IS Also good. I really appreciated that they were cleanong every day.

There's always a bit of skepticism when sharing a room with strangers but Hostel Marina offered a very peaceful and enjoyable stay (I really appreciated the women-only bedroom). The installations were very clean and with AC, very important as it was crazy hot those days. On another note, the place was beautiful. With high ceilings and wood...it felt like an old convent. The location was amazing too. I would definitely come back for a solo affordable trip!

I missed a bar or a functioning vending machine.

The reasons why I would personally recommend Hostel Marina to all backpackers travelling to Cagliari are threefold: First of all, the uttermost kindness and politeness of all the staff at the reception; Secondly, the utmost cleanliness, luminosity, and spaciousness of both the bedroom and all the common areas; Thirdly, the all-out convenience of the super centric location—smack dab right in the heart of Cagliari downtown, just a stone's throw away from all the fanciest restaurants and all the liveliest bars, pubs, and clubs!!! Last but not least, the unbeatable quality to price ratio! In one word: Top-notch!!!

A friend of mine and myself booked a twin room at this old monastery hostel. I am very easy going when it comes to accommodation so I was looking for a cheap place whilst visiting Sardegna for the short four days trip. We arrived with no expectations and I was so much pleasantly surprised how nice this place ended up to be - super nice friendly staff, clean spacious room including large bathroom and priceless central location! You get to be surrounded by endless amount of bars and restaurants. Within 5 minutes walk you get to reach the central station where you can take the bus to Poetto beach from. Love Sardegna, thank you and see you next time!

To be honest I paid but made a mistake and needed to be in Olbia for that one night, to fly out. No refund but were willing for me to change the date. Very good offering. HOWEVER I did go and have a look at the backpackers when staying for a week in Cagliari and was VERY IMPRESSED. They were happy for me to have a look around. I loved the location. Great facilities within the site. Clean. Close to everything. People were mingling in the large common area and all appeared to be happy chatting away. And at that location no need to traipse up the hill with luggage!

The staff is very nice, the little breakfast in the morning is enough to start your day. A/C worked in the room, which is very necessary as Cagliari is super hot. I liked that the room was quite big for a dorm and we girls had a lot of space for our stuff.

It's quite a walk and I wasn't prepared to walk that kind of walk. Not the hostels fault, I wish I'd prepared better.

There are no towels nor soap available. The rooms should be cleaned more often.

It's a great place, very clean, central, close to all tourist attractions. It was a nice and pleasant welcome back by Fredrica. The downstairs dining area is very good and relaxing. I highly recommend this place to the travellers.

The beds are a bit small and not many sockets in the room which can easily be resolved by providing the extension. It would have been nice to provide kitchens facilities or at least some cups and plates.

I really enjoyed the spacious rooms, all with single beds on ground floor, the tranquility and also the beautiful common patio. I loved that they recicle everything🤍 Also its very close to the bus and train stations (very useful for me as i was traveling with no car) and in the heart of Cagliari, too. People working there (and also people in Cagliary in general :) ) are very kind and always willing to help you with anything, being it practical stuff, being it tips for the cityvñ and the ouskirts of it. I would definately repeat!

the amount of room in the room. the comfort in bed.

this hospital has so much potential to be 10 times better than it is right now. It has so much space for more activities for people to get to know each other and have something fun to do. Also the kitchen on the bar is just very dead, which at this hostel has so much potential to be the best hostel in the island. I hope you take in consideration and creating more activities and fun things to do with the hostel and use the empty space downstairs for something useful.
