This place is a little slice of heaven, everything was amazing and so well thought through. Each little space felt so intimate and like there were just a few guests staying. There are so many original features which just make the place so charming!! The staff are super friendly and the food and drinks are delicious. The breakfast too… you must try a pistachio croissant!!

The only room for improvement would be that the furniture in the rooms is a tiny bit dated. It’s perfectly charming but to get the rooms to the same standard as the main building would really be the icing on the cake.

We loved the castle and the grounds; it's incredibly beautiful but as it was the last day of operation things like the spa and pool were not really operational. Some of the staff were really friendly and kind and some were already disengaged. The food unique and exceptionally tasty and the wine bar was very pretty.

Their should be more actually access to the original castle - even a tour or some other features open other than just the reception. Rooms are ok but need to upgrade things like a coffee machine for such a luxurious establishment.

A beautiful place! Wonderful old castle, with beautiful gardens arround it. Lovely swimming pool and an access to the beach. The room was large and beautifuly decorated. The breakfast was great! A large selection including a selection of omelettes and crepes.

The water pressure in the shower could have been stronger and the balcony furniture could be new or more comfortable, but this is really nit picking, the place is wonderful!

Lovely pool area and close to the beach. Restaurant was exceptional and breakfast each morning was amazing. The smell of the whole hotel was lovely. Lovely cocktail and wine bar.

Beach that is close isn't great and didn't have sunbeds from September. Need a car to travel around as the resort is in quite a remote area.

Excellent place. Great location. Walk distance from the beach and 20 minutes drive from Taormina. The hotel is beatiful with a great swimming pool and nice restaurant.

One simple recomendation: The bar at the swimming pool could be open for snacks after 3pm. They do serve drinks :)

Beautiful pool and gardens. Old Castel main house very elegant. Evening meal best we had in 3 nights in Taormina, good wines and lovely courtyard ambience. oh and did I say Pool area fabulous! We liked being away in peace from the crowded Taormina town. easy access when you want to visit- 25 mins by car. would definitely go back.

There are too many things to list when asked 'what did you like'. This is a fantastic hotel in every sense of the word. Immaculately kept. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The grounds are beautiful and lovely to stroll around. We sadly didn't get to use their spa, but I imagine it would have been of a similar high standard. Dinner in the hotel was very good. The cocktail bar was also fantastic. The location is pretty good too although you do need a car to get around really. Taormina is the nearest village/town and 100% worth a visit for the day. It is BEAUTIFUL! Departed with regret, but feeling fully relaxed and spoiled.

Only one tiny thing I would say the hotel could do to improve and that would be to add mattress toppers to the beds. This is quite common place in other hotels, and the beds are on the hard side.

The beach, admittedly end if season visit but it is shingle and did not have shoes(my fault) Dinner was good but limited menu and trying too hard on fine dining front.

The room was fabulous and the beds were very comfortable. The choice for breakfast was excellent. The spa facility was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. The gardens were beautiful and well kept.

We had to ask for milk (for our tea /coffee) and additional tea/coffee but it was supplied, no problem. There were a silly amount of cushions on the bed - they are not necessary. Pillows yes, cushions no. We had to pile them up on the floor - people don't need or want them!
