Sublimis Boutique Hotel Adults-Only

a luxury hotel in a prime location in Camogli. The service staff is amazing on all levels. The reception team has been super helpful and responsive even prior to our arrival (special thanks to Denise and Luca, who always went out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and satisfied). The room was very comfortable and clean, directly overlooking the sea with breathtaking views of Camogli. there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby and the train station is a few minutes walking distance. The in-room breakfast was a very nice touch, with a wide selection of food options (the staff is also sensitive to any food intolerance the guests may have and they make sure your meals comply with your dietary needs). This is probably the finest hotel in Camogli and would sure be our go-to place whenever we are in the region.

Beautiful hotel on the waterfront of Camogli. We didn't know much about Camogli prior to staying, but it was a great surprise to our trip/Honeymoon to Italy. Is one of the few beachfront hotels in Camogli and the only one right on the waterfront in the heart of Camogli. Beautiful rooms, very spacious and modern while looking out on the Mediterranean. Honestly one of the best views from a hotel room that I have woken up to. They do have an agreement with a company providing sun loungers on the pebbled beach in front of the hotel. The reception were happy to book these for us (60EUR for two sun loungers with umbrella per day) and provide beach towels daily with a complimentary beach bag. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay one to remember Not a criticism, but if you are driving to this hotel, take note of their directions. Like many Italian Riviera destinations the road system can be quite tricky and change depending on the time of day. The hotel did provide these directions in advance of our stay which were very helpful.

The Continental buffet wasn't as varied when compared to other 4 star hotels in Italy. All cooked food was added as extra if required. The food provide was still nice. The only access and exit to the hotel is via steep stairs either to the main street above or to the beachfront below which would be a challenge for those with mobility issues. While we did not eat at the hotel, the dining options on the esplanade aren't great and fill up fast in the evening so we would recommend booking prior. This isn't a criticism of the hotel however.

The staff is unobtrusive, very friendly and is very concerned about individual care. I came alone and felt very well looked after, no matter what it was about. The hotel may be at the end of the seafront promenade, but it is centrally located in the lively heart of Camogli, near the trainstation. The grandiose breakfast in the room was the highlight of the day, that I enjoyed every day in bed. The hotel concept is simply coherent. The decor is modern, clear and creative. The concept convinced me. I really enjoyed the time in this charming hotel.

If you dont like breakfast in bed, you had to enjoy it in the lounge with a great see view, because they have no dining room.

Superb seafront location, so romantic and beautiful, in the old classic sea front. The property is super modern, beautifully designed details everywhere. Very high-end fittings everywhere. Staff are so wonderful and helpful. Great cocktails. Breakfast is super high quality. Many of the rooms are sea facing, some with balconies. Swimming in the calm beach below, public but that’s fine. Immediate access to many seafood restaurants on the sea front. This is a premium design led hotel, with epic views.

If you are not too fit, there are quite a few stairs to climb, just advising as this is really quite important.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with items like assisting with parking our rental car (which is not easy at this location) and somehow getting us a reservation at a restaurant that was completely booked. The hotel itself was beautiful and new with unbelievable views of the Mediterranean which you see through a huge glass wall as soon as you enter the hotel (and I think every room is facing the water with the same view but would check). The hotel is located right above the Camogli boardwalk (more of a street along the water) that have dozens of restaurants, bars and shops as well as access to the several beaches. Those going to the beaches should be aware that these are pebble beaches instead of sand beaches. The pebbles are smooth and easy to walk on but different than a typical beach. Breakfast was also very very good and had a variety of filling options as opposed to the typical Italian breakfast consisting of just coffee.

The only issue we had that others should be aware of depending on how they are traveling is the hotel is difficult to get to by car. The staff was extremely accommodating and met us at the closest point that we could drive to and took our bags from there and parked the car but because the whole town is built into a steep mountain, many of the streets are pedestrian only and street parking was not a real option when we went in August. Those with a mobility impairment should also call ahead to better understand the access points to the hotel just because of the nature of the area.

I fell in love with Camogli! Our stay at Sublimis was absolutely amazing! The staff were friendly and so helpful but what made this place really stand out for us was the room and the location. We had a room with a balcony and large sliding door that gave us an amazing view of the ocean. We watched the sunset and also got a great view of the moonlight reflecting off the ocean at night. Our room was also located near the stairway that gave direct access to the promenade, restaurants and beach! They also had Molton Brown toiletries which smelled so good and the breakfast was delicious!

One thing that I didn't like about our room being directly in front of the stairway to the promenade was that when other guests used the stairs, they could look into our room. No one really did, but it's something to note since it can make you a bit self-conscious.

This is probably the best hotel we've been to. First of all, the room itself was just incredible. The sea view from the balcony was mesmerizing and watching the sunset every day from our room is so beautiful. The breakfast, which you can choose to have in your room or in the lobby, was so so good and diverse. The staff were super nice and helpful and made our stay just perfect.

The staff was really helpful, the hotel and the room was very clean. The view from the lobby and the room is amazing. The location is just a few steps from the beach.

There is noise from the street below at night (untill 00:00 or so).

The view was superb with the sea extending to a vast horizon as well as scenes of the very picturesque port below. The hotel was immediately placed next to the town which has lots of bars and cafes. The staff were courteous and efficient.

The shower was situated within the room itself with no privacy. Very odd layout but it did afford a great view!

View from the spacious room was one-of-a-kind. Very short walking distance to the beach. Breakfast was excellent, freshly made every morning and served on the great terrace! But it is easy to order too much food since you have to fill in an order form the night before and don't know the size of the portions.

The atmosphere at the reception and lobby was a bit cold due to the modern style of the hotel. There were also no people at the bar in the evenings.
