this hotel was gorgeous! very 5 star style. we truly enjoyed it as well as the location. so easy to walk all around town and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The breakfast made us want to get up in the morning. ( vast selection). the only negative was dinner at the hotel restaurant. terrible service and ok food! the views made up for it. otherwise all fantastic

We were recommended to the Hotel Cenobio Dei Dogi by a friend who lives in Milano. She mentioned that the hotel books up years in advance in the summers. The location was EXCEPTIONAL, just across the street and up the elevator to the train station. The views from our room were phenomenal. Camogli is absolutely beautiful. We loved the small-town feel with very few tourists. We really enjoyed eating the buffet breakfast here, which was included. The staff are welcoming, and professional. The hotel and facilities are very clean. We took the ferry from Camogli to San Fruttuoso and then from San Fruttuoso to Portofino. There are many FANTASTIC restaurants in town, so when you go, book the hotel way in advance and do your research.

This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. The rooms were so spacious, bathroom was equipped with assorted complimentary toiletries, and I slept so well. Breakfast was buffet style and amazing. The views from our room were phenomenal. Camogli is absolutely beautiful. We loved the small town-feel with little to no tourists. But the train station is right next doors and could take you into Portofino National Park and Cinque Terre easily. You could also walk to the docks and hop on the ferries, but we were staying during off season. Staff were also super helpful in figuring out itinerary.

Wish the heated, saltwater swimming pool hours were longer! We were too busy to try. It was 10 AM-5 PM when we went, but it was during off season. Housekeeping would also come in multiple times a day to open the window shutters, clean, and to set up the bed. Maybe this is a 4-star hotel thing.

Cenobio has the very best location in the charming town of Camogli. The views over the promenade and harbor are enchanting. With the municipal elevator right across from the train station, it is very easy to reach the hotel on foot. Ample and free private parking is available on site, if you arrive by car. The buffet breakfast was fine, but lunch and dinner are more sophisticated and distinctive. Very comfortable bed and immaculate rooms. The Teatro Sociale is a gem of a little theater and has superb programs through much of the year. The front desk and restaurant staff are genuinely hospitable and caring.

Water in the shower and sinks never got much above "warm" There is only one elevator down to the dining room and beach, also used by hotel staff. They are always courteous about giving guests priority, but there might be a short delay.

The location here is simply stunning! Great for a pool or beach holiday with plenty of hiking, MTBing and local tours. Descent breakfast and hospitality with a great staff that makes you feel welcome and appreciated.

Not a cheap place to stay, even more if you include lunch and diner from the many restaurants it has. No AC at the time in our Hotel room and smaller type of bathrooms.

The Location was exceptional, we really enjoyed eating here. The restaurant food and service was of an excellent standard. The staff are genuinely warm welcoming and professional. The hotel is spotlessly clean and facilities of good quality.

we loved everything. the only small point would be to warn guests of slippy steps entering the pool. the pool contains filtered treated seawater. The Saline is very good for your skin however can be a little bit slippy underfoot.

Excellent property in all aspects. Beautiful views from our room, the terrace cafe/bar by the pool, and the main restaurant. We enjoyed all of our dining experiences. Just a short walk gets you down to the beach clubs, bars, restaurants, and shops. Very nice private, off street parking with great valet services. We will be back and highly recommend this beautiful resort experience. If you just want to relax and enjoy the views and sun, just plop yourself down on one of the the lounge chairs by the pool.

Breakfast & dinner views are exceptional, looking out onto the Mediterranean and the Camogli Coast! Outdoor bar area is phenomenal , again overlooking the coast. The hotel is centrally located. Breakfast was a daily treat and dinner was wonderful as well!

Our room was a little warmer than we would have liked, no Air Conditioning.

Everything!! Can’t wait to return next year. Outstanding property and the highlight of our Italian holiday. Bravo ‘Cenobio Dei Dogi’ .

There was nothing not to like they have it all covered. Outstanding breakfast room and choice of food. Service also throughout the hotel was top class.

location was fabulous, what a view! lovely warm pool and private beach. very close to train station,restaurants and ferry. Loved Camogli. reception staff very helpful.

small room, nowhere to store clothes. not a very comfortable bed. room was too hot and we were told air conditioning wasn’t going to be switched on until next week. lots of kids but that’s what happens when a hotel has a pool. quite a few dogs which I found surprising.
