The property was really nice, the staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. A real treat and ideal location to rest and enjoy.

in general, everything at this hotel was of a very good standard if I have to make a small comment on something to improve would be the quality of the tennis equipment they hire (racquets and tennis balls) for which we paid €10 per hour to use in their tennis court (which was very nice), but the equipment was so very old and in such bad state, it was almost embarrassing. Perhaps nobody has used it since 20 years ago. The balls were actually disintegrating. Apart from that… and given the fact we were very happy with everything else, we overlooked this and had an overall good experience there.

The place was off the beaten track, in the hills above the Val di Noto with good breezes to relieve the sometimes extreme heat. The setting was idyllic, manicured grounds with a beautifully located and good sized pool to relax in after a hard day sight-seeing. Food was delicious from breakfast to dinner. The staff were anxious to help with anything they could. The room was a good size, spotlessly clean with a good bathroom. The whole place was very well thought out, from the beautiful courtyard and excellent air-con in the room to the strong smelling jasmine everywhere around

This is not really a complaint just a couple of thoughts after what was a really fabulous stay - the bed was on reflection 2 singles bound together by an oversheet and a bit hard for our tastes, though I am sure the hotel would have changed the room of asked. The location was outside of Noto with roads that are not for the faint-hearted - true of a lot of Sicily to be honest.

The hotel was very nice, in the quiet countryside, the staff very friendly, the pool was the best part! We also played tennis. The breakfast was also delicious! They brought me oat milk every morning as well (you have to ask for it).

The room was quite small, we barely had room to walk with one big luggage open on the floor. The shower was also very tight. Also, we ate at the restaurant twice and we were underwhelmed with half of the dishes we tasted, some were very good, some were quite disappointing, but for this price you don't expect to be disappointed. Also the service of the restaurant was very very slow, so bear that in mind .

Wonderful peaceful place, located in the countryside, in a beautiful Natural Reserve, extremely remote but yet still close to some very nice Sicilian points of interest, like Noto & Syracuse, cities that are known for their beauty and baroque architecture. We particularly liked the traditionally decorated rooms, in old Sicilian farm style. We stayed in a triple family room, which had and extra single bed for our child. Beds are very high, higher than we’ve ever seen before, which was a challenge for our 3 yrs old child.

1. Beds are very high, our small child had difficulties climbing on&off. From a children security perspective, not ideal as they might fall from bigger height during night. But still, she really liked the place and has felt very happy there altogether. 2. Second point is something subjective from our side, but perhaps others can relate to and can prove helpful, so thought it’s worth mentioning. Resort is extremely quiet, very suitable for relaxation and meditation, but not necessarily suitable for families with children, which normally tend to be on the loud side :)

This boutique and unique property is just outside the town of Noto so affords an opportunity for a quiet and peaceful break from the usual tourist traps. what makes this place special is the staff. There’s a sense of family warmth and genuine care for guests. in particular the restaurant offers amazing food both at breakfast and dinner. We stayed 4 nights and ate here every night and of course for breakfast too. there’s a lovely outdoor patio overlooking the gardens where you can eat or a pleasant indoor area as well. The bar and lounge area is comfortable and welcoming and we made use of this for drinks before dinner.

The rooms were excellent and the pool was lovely. Plenty of shade and sunbeds for everyone. Breakfast was very good. Dinner was excellent.

We were not told about the spa/jacuzzi area. There was nothing to eat until dinner. Not even olives or nuts to nibble on. Had to go and fetch drinks from the bar and return the tray. Maybe a waiter occasionally offering cold drinks at the pool or early aperitif might be an idea. The showers were small.

Masseria degli Ulivi is a sophisticated oasis, perfect for those who are seeking tranquility and true relaxation. We stayed at the Masseria for four wonderful nights. Each day starts with a delightful breakfast filled with treats both savory and sweet. Must trys are the cornetti (croissants) filled with pistachio crème, the crostata with fruit and the fruit bowl with local fresh fruit. Dinner at the Masseria was an exceptional experience with wonderful food and wine, featuring local specialties and a well curated menu. We ate there three nights and there was plenty of variety. Choosing what to eat each night was the most difficult part of the stay. The staff are really kind and helpful – making bookings for us at local places that we wanted to visit - not that we wanted to leave the gorgeous surroundings. Masseria degli Ulivi is an amazing base from which to explore the surrounding area, especially Noto and other cities of the southeast. If you don’t leave, a beautiful pool, olive groves, tennis and bocce courts, ping pong, and a wellness area with salt pools offered many options throughout the day to pass the time and relax. Wifi worked great, and each room had its own personal access. The rooms are tastefully and sparingly decorated, clean and comfortable. And we had wonderful sleep thanks to the stillness, quiet, darkness at night. The clientele are also courteous and respectful of other guests personal space and relaxation, creating a communal peaceful atmosphere. One of the most fantastic hotel experiences we have had in recent years, we cannot recommend Masseria degli Ulivi enough. We are already looking forward to our return. I loved pretty much everything about this hotel.

We couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. The breakfast was superb with an incredible choice of fresh fruit salad, savoury and pastries of all kinds as well as freshly made cake such as almond cake, The home made jams also included a quince jelly. We had an excellent 3 course dinner on four nights the highlights being the orechiette and pesce spada.

The pool is unheated so chilly but we swam in the sea nearly every day and the beaches which are a 25min drive were wonderful. Agua Club at San Lorenzo was best beach as it has showers and serves some food.

A beautifully maintained rural property. Lovely grounds with olive trees, nicely shaped swimming pool suiting its surroundings . Rooms are simple with good quality towels, linen and bathroom fittings. Good breakfast and excellent evening meals. The ambience was calm and relaxing and the staff were friendly and professional . A really lovely place to stay.
