We absolutely loved staying here. The accommodation was fabulous and just what we were hoping for. We got the blush/pink room (if that helps anyone). The little village is just so quaint, and when the stars are out, you feel like you are in a different world. The wine is insanely good too, so we got very lucky! Brekkie was fab, and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. They even managed to book a fantastic cooking class for us with Chef Simone - that was well worth the experience! The location is great for exploring and I highly recommend heading to Monteriggioni Fort one evening. If you are looking for a simple Tuscan way of life, in the middle of Chianti, linked to a winery but has all the quaintness of not being a winery, look no further!

We did have my elderly parents with us and they struggled a bit with the cobblestones and the hills (worth mentioning in case, however, that wouldn't stop us from staying there again).

A beautiful step back in time with modern facilities and comfort. We stayed 5 days and the staff was friendly and always made you feel important and cared for. The space in our apartment was very nice and a welcome change to regular hotel rooms in Europe. We did the tour of the winery and tasting and it was well done. The resort offered several dining options and it's central location allowed us to also try other local restaurants. Each day it was easy to drive and see new places. I would most definitely return!

Our courtyard seemed to be a public passageway which made it noisy sometimes. Parking was also a bit of a challenge but it did work itself out

This is a beautiful property surrounded with gardens and farmland. It was a great place to take a break from Rome/Florence. The Mazzei wine and olive oil are excellent. We enjoyed the wine tasting and having a break at the small cafe on the property. We had an excellent meal at the Osteria di Fonterutoli, which is set in a garden and olive grove. The service was excellent. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 4 friends. Our rooms were spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. There was common area for enjoying time together. In fact, two of the rooms had a cozy living room, which formed a lovely, private suite. We have dined at the Osteria in the past but this was our first stay at the hotel. It exceeded our expectations and we will return again.

It was quite warm and it would have been nice to have air conditioning in our rooms. It wasn't necessary at night but during the day it would have been great to have.

Super quaint beautiful getaway, great food and wine in restaurant nearby, the hotel itself is very clean and elegantly designed rooms and communal areas only add to the charm of this beautiful place. It's c.a. an hour drive from Florence. All the usual amenities, lovely staff and great service!

We would definitely opt to go for a room with windows facing the garden/vineyards next time. Loved our room with high ceilings but was definitely missing a view.

Good location to visit the parts of tuscany, friendly staff, super clean and big rooms. There was also a kitchen that we could use. It was a pleasant stay.

For the price range the breakfast could be better, always the same things and few options. The eggs were always cold and some days when we arrived early there was no croissants yet. They could also have flip flops and ropes.

Loved the old Tuscan feel through the house / villa. Super spacious for multiple people and great layout. Liked its location on the property too, close to the café and main entrance. Lots of windows for fresh air. The property itself was fabulous, the food at the restaurant was delicious. A 7 minute drive to a small strip of shops (supermarket / laundry, cellar doors)

House was missing basic essentials, Oil, Salt, dishwashing tablets, tea towels etc. Reception staff were super unhelpful, especially when asked where we should go and what are the must see / do. No people skills whatsoever. Lack of transport in the region is tough so someone always needs to drive (hard when you want to do tastings). On our 6 night stay, the house wasn't cleaned once despite requesting twice. The shower was broken on our first night, and was never fixed. They advertised with AC throughout which is why we paid the higher price, no AC. They advertises 2 restaurants, not the case, one is a café that serves coffee and bruschetta. The restaurant is on the pricey end buy yummy. The pool, no where to be seen. Apparently its 3 + km away from the main area...

The scenery, the breakfast, the wines, the rooms, the walks, hikes and the staff were all amazing. We initially didn't have such a nice room, because we could hear the boiler very loudly. But after informing the staff they immediately moved us to a bigger, quieter and beautiful room. Castellina in Chianti is nice too. Would say you need a car to come here.

Their wines are amazing, really recommend you to try, but I didn't think the winery tour was that impressive, there's a lot of more traditional wineries in the area that I'd recommend a tour at. This is jut my personal preference though. + the restaurant was close when we got there, bad luck! Would've loved to try.

The place exceed my expectations, guys!! It was very charming, cozy and beautiful! It’s just in the middle of Tuscany so we could reach out to visit different places. The restaurant is very good as well. We had some bisteca over there and it was the best one I’ve ever had. They produce wine and olive oils over there and it’s was sooooo good. It was the best experience ever. I’m looking forward coming back as soon as possible.

Beautiful 15th Century hamlet. Good sized bedroom, large and well equipped living room with kitchenette and washing machine. Good air-conditioning on very hot days. Very good restaurant with beautiful outdoor setting. Easy access by car to Siena and other towns in Chiantishire

Casual lunch bar bills had to be paid separately. No iron.

The room was stunning and so was the little village the resort is located in. So peaceful. The breakfast was also great and in a beautiful room just across the road. We will be back for sure!

Staff wasn't exceptionally friendly but it was the off season so perhaps that's why. Not unfriendly but definitely didn't go out of their way to make us feel welcome. Despite that, we will return as it's a lovely place.
