We liked or loved everything about our stay. A charming, well-managed, clean and comfortable place with lovely grounds and pool. Warm and friendly staff. Good European breakfast. Must have a car to visit surrounding countryside, towns and villages. You can walk to the center of Castellina where plenty of restaurants, shops, the church, the medieval tower for great views and Etruscan museum are located but there's no sidewalk for much of the way. No problem walking on side of road in daylight, but we drove it after dark. In summary, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel is beautiful and quaint. Old-style Italian Chalet. Since it was low season, we were given a choice of rooms and they offered us a free upgrade. The staff was VERY friendly and always helpful, especially when we needed to translate and navigate the results of our COVID text before returning home. It was all in Italian and very complicated. We didn't get to try the breakfast but we were told that it's a pretty standard Italian breakfast (bread, croissant, hard-boiled eggs).

The only thing that would have made this 100% perfect is if we had a coffee/tea maker in the room.

The hotel is surrounded by Tuscan lovely landscapes, so it is a perfect place for those looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday. The rooms are spacious and confortable, with ancient decoration that reminds you that you are in the middle of the Tuscany. Staff was friendly and gave enough detailed information. In 5 min by car you can reach the Castellina in Chianti center with good restaurants and some boutiques.

Location is perfect! A peaceful setting with beautiful surroundings of the vineyards. Walking distance from the town with fantastic bakery’s/bars and restaurants. Rooms are neat and clean, bathrooms is small, but the attention to detail makes it unique. Lovely gardens to sit outside.

Rooms are small and showers cramped. I would prefer glasses in the rooms instead of plastic cup’s. Hairdryer can be upgraded to one with more watts 😁

I loved this hotel! The location was excellent. Far enough away from the town to enjoy the countryside and quiet. But close enough to walk into the town for dinner or wine tasting. The rooms and property are so cute, comfortable, and well equipped. The breakfast was delicious. The staff is very kind and helpful. Also there is a bar in the lobby that has good hours and good wine. I will definitely be back!

It's gem location, beautiful place in castelina Tuscany,I loved each moment of my stay here,it's just near to countryside and vineyards,near to Florence, peaceful beautiful location,hotel is great with all amazing facilities,I loved wintage style rooms, hygeine, bathrooms,garden,staff was so welcoming,humble and helpful. Cristina been very big help here for us,we dint have any reservation for winery visit niether we had any vehicle,but on last moment she arranged everything for me and my husband,she arranged private vip winery tour for us to grieve , beautiful vineyards, she's been big help . If you want to experience nature,winery,hills,wintage style hygienic rooms with all facilities Breakfast is amazing too. I would highly recommend this place to everyone ,you won't regret it.its been my favourite stay in whole italy,and best and humble people in staff ever I met. Thanku Cristina and team

the grounds and garden were beautiful . the staff extremely helpful

we liked everything about the property . we booked our room a few months ahead and we had the credit card we reserved it on in a fraud situation so when they went to take the final payment it didn’t go through as we had a new card. We were upset because we were not notified by anyone and only received a message from booking.com that our room was cancelled and this was a week before our trip. I immediately had to rebook and didn’t get our initial room and had to pay almost $60 more.

Well everything! The most gorgeous views, the property is beautiful & cosy, very polite staff, the town is just 5-10 min walking and has amazing places to eat most of which are discounted if you’re staying here. If you have a car you’ll reach here easily and immerse well with the place.

Beautiful hotel & location, friendly staff, rooms very clean and well taken care of, breakfast very good too, very close to Castellina which is beautiful and definitely worth the visit!

Room windows very small so the room is quite dark; walking to town tricky as there is no sidewalk.
