We had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. Luisa went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. She was very helpful and gave us suggestions for places to see and transportation. She even put us in contact with a taxi service for our 2nd leg of our trip. Breakfast was good, sweet desserts, cakes, sandwiches, boiled eggs, fruits, yogurt and coffee were all very good. Room was cleaned daily. Air conditioner worked well. Location was very central on Main Street of historical centre. A car is not required, everything is within walking distance. Bus and train stations are close as well.

The courtyard looks a little run down. Not the fault of the property owners though. Luckily, the b&b has set up A lovely sitting area just outside the entrance.

We booked this very late last minute (6pm on the day) and had very quick responses to checking in from the staff. Room was lovely, very clean and shower great (super pressure and nice toiletries). Breakfast was great! Croissants, cake, yoghurts, fruit and cereal with coffee or juice. We were able to leave our bags at the accommodation for the day as we had a late flight. Nice seating area outside in a closed off courtyard for some quiet time. Location was great, 5 minutes to bus stops and in the middle of the pedestrianised shopping/restaurant area. Couldn't recommend more.

Bed did have a dip and could do with being upgraded to match the quality of the rest of the apartment. We still slept fine though :)

The premises is literally in the centre of Catania, on the main shopping street (The Via Etnea) and just a few minutes walk away from St Agata Cathedral. There is a huge array of Bars, Restaurants, Pubs and Cafes within a five minute walk of the place, plus the offices of various tour operators who can arrange touristic excursions. Most rooms have balconies looking out onto the Via Etnea and the breakfasts are quite generous.

It would have been nice to have had a fridge in the room. The preferred self-check-in procedure is communication by Whatsapp, the alternative being to ring the premises, this could cause problems for those without a modern phone and with little knowledge of Italian.

The staff is super friendly. We got an early check in at arrival, as the room was ready, as well as early breakfast made ready for our leaving day, as we left very early. The staff doesn't really speak English, but we could figure it out with Google translate and our bad Italian. The room was cleaned a bit daily and the beds were made. Breakfast was very good with both sweet and and savoury things.

We had a very pleasant stay during our holiday; the room had all things needed with a private bathroom, AC, and a balcony overlooking Via Etnea. The lady who welcomed us was very nice and helpful throughout and also let us leave the luggages and use the bathroom on our last day after check-out. She served us a delicious breakfast which was freshly prepared every morning; the smell of croissants being cooked in the morning was enough to start our day! It is a small and cozy place with good value for money especially considering the location with close access to bus terminals, shops and restaurants. Definitely recommended! 10/10

I recommend this b&b hotel, the location is perfect, good location for sightseeing Catania also the hotel is in good location to catch bus to Syracuse or Taormina. Rooms are big and clean. The lady cleaned rooms everyday. Breakfasts are prepared “with hearth” like at home. And the owner treats her guests very friendly, one time my daughter was crying alone in room, the owner knocked on the door and gave my daughter balloon, till the rest of the trip my daughter was playing with the balloon :)

B&B Etnea Palace was the perfect place for our one night in Catania. The room was comfy, air conditioned, and centrally located. Checking in was done easily over the phone. The homemade breakfast really topped off the experience.

The airport shuttle service is an extra cost, and even though I marked on my booking that I was interested I was never contacted to set it up. I forgot to follow up myself before leaving, so I reached out during my travels and was encouraged to just take the public bus instead. It was 4 euro per ticket (they had said it was 2) but it was smooth and dropped us off pretty close to B&B Etnea Palace.

The location was very good,the B&B was good value for money and the staff was very helpful to all our requests.Breakfast was good as well.They kept our luggages both before and even after check out.Thanks once again to the staff at the B&B.

Just one remark ....The mattress of the double bed needs replacement because it was very uncomfortable...but the rest was very good

The location is excellent! At first I did not like the entrance to the b&b but then when we were in everything was neat and clean and room was spacious. The staff are very friendly and helpful, Angela is a darling!

The mattress needs to be changed and some hangers are also required in the wardrobe, but on the whole we were happy staying there.

the room at the crossroad dan get slightly noisy if one opens the balconies at night till around midnight
