It was a very enjoyable stay. The breakfasts were delicious, the room was small but clean and equipped with everything necessary, with a comfortable bed and a well-equipped bathroom. We were provided with a map of Catania and suggestions for nearby restaurants. Giusy speaks excellent English (which is not common in Italy and was very helpful for us, as non-Italian speakers) and we could easily and quickly communicate with her via WhatsApp. The B&B's location is excellent, close to the city center. We really enjoyed our stay at this place! Thank you very much for your hospitality. :)

It's not the fault of the place itself, but during our stay, someone living nearby had taken a liking to evening karaoke sessions. Despite not being very talented, he persisted and practiced every day. With the window closed, it wasn't a major issue, but I hope that for the next guests' visit, the gentleman will come to terms with the fact that a brilliant musical career may not be in his future ;)

Everything was perfect starting from the top cleanest till very responsive and helpful owners! Very good breakfast and a coffee. Our arrival, breakfasts and departure all on time. Worth to mention for some with health difficulties, there is no elevator but for us it was rather the advantage after all pizzas, pastas etc ;) plus it is standard for historical centers of Sicily. Location is perfect, 5 minutes walking from the center on one of the main streets. Also 8-10 minutes from the public transport that takes you to the beach. :) You can walk as well but then is approx 30 mins.

Everything was perfect

A hiden place in central Catania with an amazing standard of the room. We hade a spacious bathroom, a livingroom and a bedroom. And from that we could walk out to our own terrace with a nice view of the rooftops and citycenter in old Catania. Everything was fresh and clean. The television even had the Netflix-chanel. Full working wifi connection. From the place it was a straight short walk down to the square with the cathedral and the nearby fishmarket. The breakfast was basic but fully enough. One of the best place we ever have stayed at during our holidays in Europe.

Just an detail to know about: It´s on the third (or forth) level and You have to walk the steep stairs to get to the living. But it´s worth it.

We enjoyed our stay at B&B Sant’ Agata a lot. The hosts were very kind and hospitable. They kept smiling and always gave us a lot of tips and advice. We had prepared a decious breakfast every morning, even served on our terrace. We could also refresh ourselves with cold water prepared in the fridge, take a juice or make a coffee. The room is designed well, so cozy with a comfortable bed. Everything was always nice and clean. We have such a great experience from Catania. Thank you so much for everything. Adela and Stepan

The staff were great! Very accommodating. Helpful. Friendly. Genuinely couldn’t do enough!!

Despite our room being clean with all the normal amenities, it was the smallest room available. TBH we weren’t in the room that often so did not matter. My only minor comment but not a criticism in the slightest. The room was great value for money.

Very nice, beautifuly set rooms, breakfasts including fresh fruits personally served every morning with smile, great location and very friendly stuff. I would choose this place again for sure! ❤️

Our room was right next to the entrance doors & kitchen / dining room , most of the time it was ok, only in mornings a family from another room was very noisy.

Lovely very large room with private inner terrace, very calm despite the central location. Decorated with style, high quality mattrass and bedding. We were very impressed with the wooden furniture in the property, which was renewed and modified by owner's dad. Very warm and available host. Large breakfast choice, with good products.

Breakfast was great and welcoming. Cleanliness was amazing. Cute little balcony. Comfortable bed, fresh nice blue room. Can use coffee during the day.

If you don't need kitchen, lift or an own fridge, this place is for you. Shared mini kitchen space worked well for us, but it's not for all.

The apartment is definitely worth recommending. It's located in a rather old building but it's newly and tastefully decorated. Everything is spotlessly clean. The host is very kind and helpful - she arranged transfer to the airport, let us prepare some breakfast ( we were leaving very early in the morning, so the breakfast wasn't served but everything we needed was there, waiting for us), even offered some information about the city of Catania in Polish - our native language.

The room was nice and very clean. The location was very good, close to all places of interest. The staff was very helpful and kind to us. Breakfast was fine and various snacks were available for us all day, if we wanted something later on.

I think that we were unlucky and we had two main problems. First was that the air condition was not functioning properly and there was not warm air, so for two days we were feeling very cold. It turned out that it was required a filter change. Second was that on the second day, at the time I had my bath, the water immediately turned cold and there was no more warm water, so the combination with no heating in the room was not good...but I have to admit that when the next day we informed about these problems, when we came back in the afternoon, everything was fixed.
