Very pleasant staff who facilitated early access to our apartment. Good location, not far to walk to main points of interest. The apartment was spacious and had all we needed for a short stay (except an electric jug to boil water - a minor omission).

No lift, so inconvenient with luggage (although staff helped with getting luggage up the stairs). Only one power outlet next to bed, so not possible to charge phone and use bedside light at the same time - a slight problem when we had a very early departure and needed to keep phone plugged in. Main problem was the proximity to church bells that rang every 15 minutes throughout the night, causing very disturbed sleep.

This hotel is amazing! The staff was very nice. Our flight was diverted from Catania to Trapani so they waited for us to arrive until 5AM. The apartment was very spacious, it had everything you might need, it was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. Also the small yard inside the hotel is super cozy and quiet. The hotel has a perfect location, it’s five minutes away from everything, and it’s in the city center. I recommend Dimora De Mauro strongly!

Lovely quiet escape from the busy city centre. Very large and spacious flat with a nice balcony at the back, big bedroom with lots of storage space and equipped kitchen. Very clean too! Staff were friendly and welcoming.

Not a great shower (pressure was good but was in the centre of the cubicle so it was hard to manoever around), quite stupid paper sachets of shower gel which obviously get soaked when you use them in the shower! If you want to be eco friendly and not have a lot of plastic you should fix refillable dispensers to the wall of the shower instead.

The staff was helpful and very nice. The location of the apartment is excellent, easy to reach from the airport, close to the town center, still quiet. The rooms were spacious and equipped with everything (cutlery, dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, etc.) we needed. There is even a small yard surrounded by the buildings of the property where the guests can sit out to enjoy the sunshine. We had a balcony where we could stand out to watch the streetlife of Catania. Within the premises of the property and right in front of the entrance there is a restaurant. On the other side of the street there is a confectionery. Further down on the street there are restaurants, shops, everything.

The shower was a little bit worn, but it was OK. There could have been more cutlery (plates and glasses), it was impossible to fill the dishwasher.

The property definitely has Catania vibe! There’s a rustic courtyard made of the big square cobblestone which pleasantly leads you an outdoor rest area. The apartments are accessed from the same courtyard area although interestingly enough the whole place feels more inviting. The interior has the same authentic look as the exterior which an overall makes it look stylish and solid.

Well there was a funny and in the same way hurtful situation with a hot water in the shower. My suggestion here is to (always) turn the lever gradually rather than trust the indication of hot and cold signs unless you want to get a half of face burned by an extremely hot shower stream. 🥵😳😶‍🌫️ P.S. All ended up well now I can even laugh remembering that but that night it ruined my mood a bit.

The queen bed comprises two separated single bed and I like the firmness of the bed so much! There is another queen bed in the other room but it provides another level of comfortness and not in separated single beds. Also, the shower and shampoo gel was very nice. The apartment was bigger than I thought and very comfy.

The shower areas are so small. Our room was on the top floor that I did not expect before. But it’s really worth stepping up to the top floor as the view was really good.

Stayed for only a night. Arrived in the evening and left in the morning. Nice that it was in the center and very clean.

The door (room 115) was tricky to open so you better make sure while you are taken to the room that you know how to work it. We came back at 10pm and had a few stressful minutes when we couldn’t open and at that time there’s no one to talk to.

the apt is really big, washing machine inside, high ceiling, tv, kitchen and many towels i didn't aspect to be this big! i loved the decoration and enjoyed the complimentary water! the staff is really nice as well the flat is close to the Duomo

No elevator and the hotel is located way up a street... gotta have some endurance

Good location, 10 min walk to town centre. Decent sized apartment, quiet residential block. Parking available from accommodation €15 a day. But at time of staying (mid-may) local streets not too difficult to find parking (blue line - ie paid) at €3 for half a day / €1 overnight (buy tickets from machines on street) Streets south of accommodation parking free (nr Greco theatre) but would be more tricky with driving narrower roads.

Not as clean as would have liked, hairs on fitted sheet, but rest of apartment fine.

beautiful place, an authentic Sicilian house nicely renovated , great views from the balcony and sitting area , we had an upper floor apartment , very comfortable and spacious. perfect location. great stuff with a warm welcoming suggesting us nice places (we arrived little late at night)…. perfectly for a week stay …(we just had one night … but could’ve stayed more … really nice place)
