The property gave us a ticket to go to a coffee and sweet shop just down the street. Every morning we chose a drink and a pastry. Everything was very delicious! Everything homemade and italian - best food anyone could ask for. Only sweet pastries are provided for free during breakfast.

We didn't have anything to complain about to be honest. The receptionist that we spoke to was very friendly and she also speaks English which was very helpful for me. The apartment was cleaned daily while we were out. There is not a kitchen or fridge but then again there isn't a lot of space to do so but a fridge would be very handy.

Location. City centre. The bus stop to the airport is just a few meters away. The room looked recently refurbished. AC. Balcony. King size bed. TV. Fridge. Good WFI. All you need. Maybe they can add kettle. Would be a great addition to the room. The receptionist, young curly girl, was really helpful. The breakfast is located in the restaurant nearby. Croissant and a coffee. Simple but will do.

It is tricky to be found. You have to walk on the main street. Look for grey iron gates. You have to ring the buzzer where it is written hotel Sofia. After they open the first iron gate , you have to look for another brown iron gate and again ring the buzzer, someone to open it. After you have to go to the second floor. You will see Hotel Costanza written on the left, but the reception is located on your right, where it is written hotel Sofia. You have to ring 3rd buzzer ,so someone to open the door for you. Once you manage to pass all levels in finding the keys for your room, everything is fine. Good look if you store your luggage after departure. You have to play that game again :) Note that the reception is working only until 7-8 PM.

Staff was attentive, allowed us bit earlier check in. Also after we checked-out the room, we were able to leave our baggage at reception until heading to our next hop. Room was quite acceptable with the view on the main street.

It may be breakfast, but it depends on part of the world tourist arrive. Seems that for Italian, breakfast containing a sweet pastry and coffee is kind of standard, but for us not as usual.

The location is great - close to Giardino Bellini, Duomo di Catania, Alibus/bus stops and metro station Stesicoro. The staff is also amazing - friendly and very helpful. Spacious room and bathroom.

Overall clean, but could be improved. The beds were not that comfortable.

I traveled with my mom and we totally enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Place is minimalistic but has everything you need. Bed is very comfortable, bathroom and room are always clean ( big thanks to cleaning lady, who is by the way was really nice and smiley, enjoyed talking to her even without knowledge of Italian language). Women on reception are the sweatest, they were really understanding, helpful and providing us with information or other things we needed. Conditioner in the room with different options helped us to survive the heat. Actually sometimes we had troubles with leaving the room, it was so comfy. LOCATION is perfect. Hotel placed in the middle of all the important for tourists things. Location is safe, surrounded by shops and caffes. 5 minutes walk to shop for groceries, 7-10 minutes to the main square, 12 to the main bus station ( where you can catch the bus to the beach, it takes approx 10 minutes). Bus stops across the road from the hotel in both directions. BREAKFAST PLACE is really cute and friendly. Croissants there saved my life! Even if I'm not sweet breakfast person I was waiting for morning to go there. If you are looking for a simple but comfortable place to stay it is your choice! Even my mom who used to stay in all inclusive hotels felt in love with this place. We gave hugs to everyone when we were leaving, because somehow it felt like home. Very grateful, totally recommend it💖

The staff is super friendly and supportive. I had a few extras to ask and this was never a problem. The location is fantastic, nice surroundings and also very central and in close walking distance to sights. The breakfast cafe was very nice as well. A typical pasticceria with typical food, and you can sip your morning coffee and enjoy the view of Mount Etna :) Also the staff there was extremely nice and helpful.

Nothing really. Just a hint that there are a few stairs to enter the building and the elevator is pretty small.

Very good hotel for 1 night in Catania. Close to the coolest bars, it allows you to experience the city's hot nightlife. Clean and very nice.

I don't think it's a nice place for a long stay, Very basic. But still comfortable and super cool. Depends on expectations.

Excellent location. Breakfast was poor having only 1 option which consisted of 1 sweet pastry and 1 hot drink from the coffee bar 2 doors away from the hotel.

Suggest that they provide a kettle in the rooms

Very good for a short stay in Catania. Very friendly staff, good size rooms, AC perfectly working and everything clean and tidy.

Although it's perfectly centrally located on Catania's main road (Via Etnea), it was slightly hard to locate as I couldn't see a clear sign on the gate.

Great location. Close to city center and all important places in Catania. Amazing view to Etna volcano from balcony . Breakfast in the great cafe nearby the hotel.
