Anna, Rosario and the team in the breakfast room, Latifa, Siria and the manager in reception and the two Lifeguards all made our stay very pleasant. Our room was cleaned daily and we had plenty of towels and toiletries. We loved the beach club and it along with the wonderful staff were the reasons we returned for a third time.

There was a charge for using the beach club of €15 per person per day, which we were not aware of until we were checking out. We were aware of the €3 per towel per day fee. When we stayed previously none of these charges existed. The prices for the poolside bar have increased greatly and are way out of line with the surrounding bars and restaurants. Hotel Nettuno could be more environmentally friendly by using separate bins for recycling and general rubbish. The city of Catania has become very dirty with rubbish everywhere along the Lungomare.

The Seaview from the room was lovely, especially on sun rise. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of food. Whilst the hotel was a little out of the city centre, it was in a good location for bars and restaurants, and right on the sea front. The driver who took me to the airport was very friendly.

I was so disappointed to arrive just after 6pm to find the pool closed and would not re-open until 0900 the next day. As I was leaving for the airport at 0830, this was no use to me. The reason I chose this hotel, was for the pool. I feel strongly that pool opening hours should be displayed with hotel information. I was also very surprised to see the hotel charges 3 euros a day for a pool towel - I've never seen this at a hotel before! There was air conditioning in my room, but wow, it was so noisy, like a cronky old tractor driving down the street. Whilst this is advertised as a 4 star hotel, it felt very tired, dated/old fashioned with fixtures and furnishings seeming somewhat worn out.

I like the staff in reception,in the breakfast area expecialy ANNA she was to kind and helpful and she brought me turkey sausage every day, because I don't eat pork.I never has meet such an exelent women🥰 and the receptionists and the barman in the swimming pool they were very kind and helpful and also The cleaners were kind and the room was cleaned every day

The hotel building is very old and has not been renovated since its completion.

Really nice pool, about 25m long and 10m wide and goes from 1m to 3m in depth. There was a bidet and they change your towels daily. Nice breakfast from 7-9am

Pretty dated rooms but comfortable and clean. Have to pay for the sea side seating area and you have to pay for beach towels. Wished breakfast was on for a bit longer though.

Good location on seafront. Great feel to the hotel. Lovely, helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Large comfortable room. Good swimming pool, when open. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the vicinity.

Need to check if swimming pool and beach club are open before booking. Road outside is very busy and building work and funfair next door, but not too much of a problem for us.

Great hotel, staff, breakfast and facilities. Amazing pool and location with parking possibilities. We come here every year for one or more days.

We had to pay €3 per person for the use of the pool towels, which doesn't fit such a hotel

The location is great, very nice sized swimming Pool, access to the sea with sunbeds available (extra cost) and a safe handy car park provided, which is so hard to find, on the whole island of Sicily.

Well the decor bathroom A/C are a bit outdated but perfectly fine didn't bother us much and it is reflected in the price so no issue!

The pool and the pool area are very nice, the breakfast has a good offer, and the staff is super nice! The location is amazing too, with views on the sea and the volcanic rocks.

The hotel needs some renovations. Our door lock was half broken, the furniture is quite old and worn out. The breakfast is too early, between 7 am and 10 am.

We normally opt for more central locations, but chose this one because we wanted free and secure parking. Quite a walk into the old town, although there were a number of good restaurant options nearby. Our room was a typical hotel room, probably more 3 star than the 4 stars the hotel had, but the bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was tasty, with lots of hot and cold options.

WiFi was very patchy over the 3 days, from being totally useless to superfast. Can't explain why but it was very frustrating. Also disappointing that the hotel pool was closed for one of our two full days there. The day we did use it though it was a very nice facility.

Conveniently located to the beach and other amenities. Staff were generally pleasant - front desk was very helpful with local info at checkin.

The property looks tired - many spots are rusty and appears that maintenance is rather sparse. Air-conditioning operated with its own calling in life and was maxed out at 18°C - the alternative was switching it off!
