I loved the individuality of the hotel. Initially i thought oh no, what have i booked into? But i was pleasantly surprised, the staff were very pleasent and helpful all the time. I liked the overall look.

I didnt like the area the hotel was located in, the ymca was smelly and dirty, i had to walk past it every day and it smelt like something had died there or it was used as a public toilet and the driveway to it is filthy. I think the hotel could do with some upgrading and maintenance, painting for certain. I didnt like the way the rooms with joining doors, you could here people next door, the doors neef some sound proofing. I wish the swimming pool opened earlier 7am instead of 9am and closed later 10.30pm instead of 7pm.

Great hotel close to the beach with included sunbeds and umbrella for hotel guests. Dinner is served in the backyard and the hotel has a nice pool area. Clean room with all necessities. Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Loved that we could go for a swim in the pool until 10pm - nice after a long, hot day!

Located outside the city centre but takes only a few minutes with bus - however, I do not reccommend traveling with bus if you expect on time and frequent departures. The hotel is also located close to the airport and the road, so it can be a bit noisy outside, especially by the pool, but was not a problem in the room.

Most of the staff were helpful. It is not fun working in a heatwave, especially when the job is outdoors, but they were always jovial. Breakfast was a delight. Lots of beautiful pastries to choose from (Italian style breakfast), as well as continental and cooked breakfast options. Most of the hotel rooms have front doors to the outside (private access) rather than in an internal corridor. There is lots of trees and vegetation around which keeps it private. It is in need of renovation, however the style is typical old sicilian and keeps the prices sensible. I had a friendly gecko in my room.. which is a natural mosquito repellent, and wasn't bothered by it. There is also private parking which is a huge bonus, and there was aircondition in the room which was vital in the heatwave. There is also access to the beach lido opposite the hotel for free. I didn't utilise this. The hotel is 5 mins from the airport.. a little gem

The top floor rooms have no lift access. This should be noted in the booking, but when I arrived at 1am, the person at reception kindly helped me take my case upstairs. There doesn't seem to be a policy to remove unattended towels on sunbeds.. and some individuals were reserving sunbeds by placing towels and not be present at the pool.

The location is very near the airport. The hotel is opposite the beach. The hotel provide you free access to a beach with a sun bather and table each day you stay. The beach has a good restaurant. The hotel itself is spacious with an excellent pool, dinning room and even a gym. The grounds of the hotel are well kept. There is free parking. The staff speak good English, were helpful and very friendly. We would stay there again.

The rooms are average. However, you do not spend anytime in your room when in hotel as there is little need as the hotel has everything in its grounds.

Perfect hotel for a beach holiday. Beach is super close and you are getting the access to the private one. The hotel is relatively clean but the common spaces are a bit overlooked. I was missing a bit of music in the evening. Bar is also close so it is a bit boring. The city centre is easily reachable by bus ( it is close but I do not recommend walking, did it once and it is a no go).

absolutely lovely, from front of house to cleaners! the situation perfect. buses to Catania in front of hotel, the well organised beach Arcobaleno 80 meters opposite the hotel, where real Sicilian menu of sea food, pastas and desserts were delicious. Mainly Italians customers with their families a real delight. a very friendly place to spend 10 days on one’s own. thank you all and booking.com! this small, well appointed hotel is to be recommended. This is probably my best hotel experience. Very friendly staff, location is perfect, free private beach, free breakfast, receptionists were super helpful and made our stay so easy. The room was exactly what you’d need and more. Free bottled water, AC, the bathroom had a massive mirror and a rainshower with good water pressure. There are USB ports to charge your phone so a brick is not needed. The hotel has an awesome pool and an amazing view to the sea.

Amazing place. We were worried about the previous reviews but it was amazing. The check in was easy could check in earlier. Check out was super easy. It was clean every day our room was cleaned. The cleaning lady with glasses she is amazing. The breakfast is very good both cooked and continental. Close to private beach, umbrella bed including. Tip: do not eat at the beach restaurant , although the staff are friendly but food is not good and expensive. There is a Chinese buffet near the hotel the best one I ever had in a long time. The hotel pool is nice and clean. It has Lidl near to shop and for 1 Euro the bus takes you to Catania town centre. Any questions message me PM. Overall: Very good choice .

They could offer buffet dinner with extra price. The WiFi does not work.

The hotel itself is great - nice room, helpful staff, good food in the restaurant, nice gardens and pool. The area around the hotel is not very appealing. But we chose it because we had an early flight the next day, it's very convenient for the airport. We were also able to get a bus into Catania from just outside the hotel. This was a better option for the evening than staying in the local area.
