The location of this hotel is great, right across from the beach and a very short walk to the historic area. The streets are lined with restaurants, bars and beach clubs. It was quiet and night when we were there (March) but I imagine it could be noisy in the summer. Our room was spacious, te\he shower a little small but fine. The restaurant downstairs had a great breakfast and a super nice waiter. The balcony was lovely. We also took advantage of the laundry services in the hotel, not inexpensive but back same day. We definitely recommend Riva del Sole.

At night it was quiet outside but inside the hotel you can hear overtime someone flushes a toilet or runs a sink!

Wonderful location right on the beach front.

We had a fantastic stay at Riva Del Sole. Our room had a balcony that faced the beach. We were in a great location; opposite the beach. close to restaurants and supermarket, close to historic centre and the free car park was right next door. The buffet breakfast was exceptional with seating on the balcony facing the beach. The staff were pleasant and very helpful.

Very minor but the toilets were very loud when flushed and could hear from other rooms.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The photo's online made the hotel look really old and rundown and I was nervous about what I was going to be met with when I arrived. I was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel is old and the furnishings are very 80s/90s vibe, BUT the upkeep and the level of cleanliness and care that has been put into the place keeps the hotel feeling fresh. Our floors were moped every day - the housekeeping of this hotel, I take my hat off too. I have stayed in luxury 5 star hotels and this housekeeping team is far better than anything I have seen. Their main areas, the public areas - everything was perfectly clean. Buffet breakfast was fantastic, so many amazing selections. The location was great, we had seaside views and loved being able to walk out of the hotel and step right onto the beach. There are so many restaurants and cafe's around, and the old city is only a 10 minute walk.

This property is located in front of the beach. Walking distance to many restaurants & craft stores.

The only thing that bothered us was the lack of politeness from the upper staff. Meaning the women who sat in the office on the 2nd floor. She was rough & rude to the staff and us. Otherwise the staff is fantastic & amazing. I would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone because of the lack of respect this person showed in front of a lobby full of guests.

It was in a perfect location, right across from the beautiful sea , the hotel was beautiful, the staff was kind and friendly, our room was clean , bathroom was great and they did our laundry for us since we have been traveling for weeks, folded it and put it on the bed , we felt like kings and Queens , breakfast and dinners were delicious , they had a private parking for us as well we highly recommend Hotel Riva Del Sole 😀

Rooms could do with updating. USB ports, Tea and coffee etc. although buffet breakfast was lovely the chef needed to take more care. The only 2 cooked things on the buffet were scrambled egg and boiled cold eggs. There were lots of shells in the scramble and the boiled were over cooked with a black rim internally. The baked goods were amazing one other thing I did not like the sign saying you could not bring in your own food and drink - if I am paying for the room I can do whatever I like in it.

Breakfast was included in price. A big range to choose from and breakfast food excellent. The only thing was the hot food came out at 7.30am not 7am when breakfast commenced. We had dinner one night in the restaurant which was reasonably priced and delicious. Staff very helpful. Excellent location to all restaurants and Old Town. Situated across from the beach. Parking at Public Parking next door and fully refundable (no cost charged). Only glitch the soap was not replaced daily. Otherwise Highly recommend.

The location of the hotel is fantastic. The staff are excellent. The hotel is spotless and the staff never stop cleaning.Our room view was amazing. Breakfast is good. Parking is in the carpark next door but is only a few yards away and very convenient.

The plumbing can be noisy. The room's are very clean but need a revamp. Nothing at all wrong with them, there's no damage at all, just need to be brighter.

Location right on the beach and in the centre of town was great. Nice balcony facing the sea. Cheery blue and yellow decor and art deco vibe. Parking was included in a secure adjacent lot.

Noisy bin collection at 5am! Would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities and drinking glasses in the room for refreshments.
