We chose this place to be out of the tourist area and because of the private beach. For us private beach made it worth it and Cetara is such a nice authentic experience. Easy enough to get around to other touristy cities if that's what you're interested in. Rocky beach bring water shoes

Staff could have been more helpful with getting around. We went to Amalfi by bus and we had looked up that last bus back to Cetara was 11, but last bus was canceled who knew that was possible and we had to spend 180 euro on a cab. Called hotel for assistance they couldn't help. Similar issues when asking about train transfer to Pompeii. A few helpful tips would have gone a long way for us

Amazing staff, very helpful and friendly. Beautiful sea views, comfortable bedrooms and short walking distance to Cetara where there are a number of really good restaurants (felt quieter compared to other areas of the coast). Hotel restaurant was also excellent but expensive. Superb breakfast included.

Being off the beaten track has one down side if you don’t have a car and are at the mercy of public transport. Boat is best to get between towns but was cancelled due to storm. Bus was so busy that it just drove past the bus stop leaving us stranded for a while!

This is a wonderful hotel at a great location but the beach really is indescribable - it is so wonderful to have a private beach (and free parking!) at the hotel that can be accessed via elevator, while the cliffs and stairs obviously make the charm of the Amalfi coast, travelling it 35* degree heat or with 60-70 year old family members, it was truly wonderful to have this easy - it really felt like a holiday. The main waitor is also super friendly and the reception staff organized a private hairdresser for my dad to get a haircut in our room!

While the food is really special and delicious, it was rather hard to get tables and food took some time to arrive. Some staff members did not seem too too friendly, while others made up for it by being very sweet. It is also not easy to reach the town or other restaurants by foot, as the street is quite curvy and the ledge is very low.

The room was spectacular. Clean, roomy, comfortable king bed, gorgeous balcony, woke up every morning to a sunrise over the water. Breathtaking. Restaurant and bar on-site. And parking! Away from Amalfi crowds. Loved this place! Breakfast was great. The staff were very quick to offer coffee or omelets. Delicious food, great selection.

The night manager could have been a bit nicer. At one point we left the car keys at the front desk because we were blocking other cars. He seemed to be annoyed to take the keys. Same guy checked us in on our first night and seemed irritated that we checked in late.

Cannot discribe how nice this hotel is. The view is extraordinary. You are literally looking at the sea and nothing else. Most beautiful view ever. The room was a very good size. The town of Cetara according to us was the best on the Amalfi coast as it was not as crowded as the others. The restaurants were great and not pretentious and expensive like the ones in the other towns. We really enjoyed our stay. You can spend hours on the hotel balcony.

Wish there was somewhere to have lunch in the hotel besides the beach club. The little town of Cetara is 5 mins drive and shuttles are very easy to get for just €3/- each and the town has some lovely places to eat. Its just on one of those lazy days you have to go to the beach club for lunch. This is not a negative at all just a wish. :-)

The view from the hotel was fantastic, accompanied by the soothing sound of waves nearby. We particularly enjoyed the dinner, which was of high quality. Despite it not being the season, we were pleased to find access to the private beach, although umbrellas were not available. Cetara is a picturesque fishing town with some of the friendliest people you'll encounter. We found its unique allure to surpass that of other towns along the coast.

Accessing the hotel without a car or taxi can be challenging. Additionally, while the hotel is conveniently located near attractions, navigating the cliffside without sidewalks can be intimidating for pedestrians.

Incredible location, super friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean, amazing views and fantastic private beach, and only five minute walk into town! Restaurant was also excellent. Recommend getting ‘swimming shoes’ for the pebble beach - they sell them at the beach bar but also in town for a bit cheaper. Great value for money for a 4* establishment.

Only (minor) criticism was a bit of flaky paint on one wall in the room, due to damp from the humidity and sea air. As I said, very minor criticism and wasn’t in the slightest bit an issue.

Spotless but a little work needed. Door on fridge needed attention, and there were no shutters on our window ...all neighbouring windows had shutters. We forgot our passports but they kept the room free until we returned for them. The food in the restaurant was excellent.

I forgot to include breakfast for our three children, so I had to pay €25 for each of them to have breakfast that day....€75 for cereal and a pastery each !!!! The boys didn't even have coffee ... just water! Ridiculous price for children's breakfast. In fairness, it was my fault as I didn't include it when booking by accident, but it was a silly price. No other place was close and kids were hungry, so I had no choice. Later that day, we went to shops and spent €12 for Cereal, milk, disposable bowls, pastry, muffins, ham, cheese, and bread rolls ....huge breakfast for them all in their room next day for €12. €75 WAS A RIP OFF. No kettle in one room

The breakfast is spectacular. The view is gorgeous and the room is immaculate. The staff are lovely but there was an obvious language barrier. We are both vegan and there was a lack of vegan options at breakfast, although we do feel that with better communication, we could have had more options. The staff did try very hard to accommodate from what they understood. The private is absolutely incredible. It’s an amazing feature. The staff at the beach club were lovely and we always got a good bed in the sun. The beach club had enough facilities for lunch and snacks which was great. The hotel is very clean and very modern. The cleaning service is second to none.

We felt that there should have been more information given about public transport. Location was a bit too remote so we had to take buses to Salerno and they were infrequent and busy. A shuttle to Salerno would’ve been better. Vegan options were sorely lacking. We always had a tomato pasta and fries for lunch as there wasn’t anything else on the menu, although the staff were willing to modify salads. Dinner in the hotel was quite expensive and there was no pizza which is surprising for being in the Amalfi coast. It might have been good to have some night entertainment at the bar at night.

Perfect view from hotel. Private beach was great , including the lift! Breakfast was very good. The serving staff at breakfast and at the beach restaurant were fantastic. Beautiful hotel and views.

The walk into the village of Cetara is along a busy road with no footpath. Did not stop us but late at night could be a scary with fast traffic . We had to walk up from the ferry with suitcases which was challenging. Minor point but it would be helpful if the hotel could organise more regular pick ups from the ferry port especially upon arrival with luggage.
