It’s beautiful, they upgraded us to a suite. The dinner was great.

I don’t complain and I’m a very relaxed guest but we got skin damage from the pool. The chlorine was SO strong that both our eyes were red, blurry and sore for 2 days. Even though I showered right after the swim my hair went crispy and hard(?!) at the ends and we both had severe itchy and stinging/burning skin for 3 days after. It’s 5 days since and my hair still smells of chlorine when I get it wet and my skin still burns in some places. It was a Monday morning and we were first in the pool. Maybe that’s why? Do you top it up then? But it was awful and borderline dangerous.

Great restaurant - amazing and unique breakfast. Best dinner in resort. Lovely facilities - spa a great finish to a days skiing. Clean. Well located.

Beds firm (not my preference). Hotel managed to put our suitcases in someone elses taxi - for whom they had no contact details. Kindly resolved by our taxi driver who was well connected. If you want to eat in other restaurants sort this out yourself via Google. Reception not so helpful in organising this.

Stunning building in beautiful location, lovely and welcoming staff, relaxing spa, extraordinary breakfast!

Although the bedrooms look beautiful, there are few things I would change - lack of bedroom shelving, no drawers, very small and impractical bedside tables, hard pillows, no English tv channels.

High quality fittings and very clean Some of the staff were fantastic - Michelle and Diletta couldn’t have been more helpful with restaurant bookings, transfers, ski-passes. Others were less friendly, as below.

Breakfast was too much of a show. There must be a lot of waste. Some of the staff, apart from the ones above were rather indifferent, never engaged in conversation. Man at reception with glasses barely said ‘hello’. Breakfast service was a bit sterile.

We liked everything about this hotel. The design is very interesting, with lots of quiet spaces to sit, some interesting antiques and fixtures from the previous hotel that was on the site before this was constructed, and gorgeous picture windows, open spaces, lots of light, and a lovely homely feel to it. The architects and designers have done a wonderful job. More than that though, the hotel is very well managed, efficient, with extremely friendly and personable staff, it was a joy, staff who felt that they were sharing their home with you. We loved breakfast, beautifully executed, delicious fresh and local food, and the presentation on the table was perfection. All whilst we sat at a beautiful picture window overlooking the garden, lake and towards the mountains. It was the most peaceful and relaxed hotel breakfast experience I have enjoyed in many a year, it was hard to leave the table. We didn't have time to use the pool or spa, I wish we did, it was very impressive. I have no reason to go back to this hotel, we were passing through, but it was so good we said in the car afterwards that we have to find a reason to revisit, but next time for a bit longer to really enjoy it properly.

That we didn't stay long enough. We were on a long haul drive through Europe and wanted somewhere interesting to stay. We stayed one night, but wished it could have been more

It was beautiful. Lovely views from the room. The staff was so so nice (and went out of their way when I left items at the hotel). Can walk to the cable car in champoluc to Crest. You can take many nice hikes directly from Champoluc. And it has parking!

small detail, no hotel instruction pack in the room so you had no idea of what was available eg classes/menus/bar options/check out times/spa. The restaurant Lo Bistrot was where we had to eat according to the hotel (as hotel was fully booked) and we were given no option other than set menu, we only had a small pasta dish off this and cost was £200, really upset us as no prices were given and we simply didn’t dream it would cost this much, ie the amount for eating all courses. when we did eat in the hotel it was exceptional.

Everything, 5 star comfort pool is like an infinity pool to the trees Amazing staff Building is so structurally beautiful We can't wait to return Here always for skiing.. Austria will never see us again 😀

only a fine dining restaurant in the hotel and after skiing we didn’t really want a long and large expensive meal. it could really do with a more informal dining experience.
