These i trulli dwellings were gorgeous. The breakfast was fabulous with many options, including omelettes. We also had dinner here one night, and the chef came out to speak with us for some time. We are "foodies", so we really appreciated this aspect. The wildflowers on the grounds were beautiful, which added to the beauty of this borgo.

The pool area was in a beautiful setting, however, we were here in October, and although the weather was warm, the pool was not heated. We also rented a car, and the access roads were narrow, but that is to be expected in this amazing area.

Breakfast was excellent, with fresh cheese and some of the best egg options cooked to order. Cute design of hotel rooms. Spotless clean. Hotel restaurant cooks good food albeit a bit pricey. Very friendly and helpful staff.

1) Location of the hotel: not bad but it is quite a bit driving to major attractions on the east coast (>30 minutes). Not a major problem. 2) Hotel has a nice restaurant, but would have been great to have a bar area for hanging out in the evenings.

Our time at Borgo Canonica was very special. The property was very pretty and we felt hidden away for a few days but close to nearby towns - Cisternino and Ostuni. The restaurant served up some delicious food. Our room in the traditional trullo was a unique and cozy touch. The whole experience was fantastic, and we're definitely considering coming back in the future.

The single bed (single foldout couch) was really very small and not suitable for a teenager.

This property is so special. Mimmo was an amazing host and made us feel at home. The restaurant is superb. The pool and garden is divine, so peaceful and comfortable. The sound of the cicadas amongst the olive grove took you far away from real life and into a serene atmosphere. This is all before the gorgeous trullis and gardens surrounding the trullis. The rooms have been updated with such great taste. I perfect stop to see towns like Ostuni, Cisternino and Alberobello.

Loved the beautiful location and the wonderful staff who were welcoming and very eager to help with anything. Having a Trulli as your bedroom is very unique and the hotel have done so well to retain the character of these buildings but with modern conveniences. The restaurant has a limited evening menu but the standard of food is exceptional…… as is the wine!

The bar area closes at 7pm so for groups of travellers there is very limited spaces to meet up if you are not eating dinner at hotel.

Everything! This place is a wonderful getaway immersed in nature on a gorgeous trulli site…. and the infinity pool was simply beautiful. Every detail within the trulli living experience has been carefully curated to ensure that your stay is truly memorable. We found the staff exceptionally helpful and the dining experience one of the best we have had during our stay in Puglia. We look forward to returning and highly recommend Borgo Canonica.

Beautiful location, amazing breakfast. Rooms were superb

A few signs would be good! We arrived and we couldn’t get through the gates despite pressing the buzzer a few times and we’re stuck outside for about 10 mins! Then once we were inside, there weren’t any signs for reception- so this would be useful. It is a shame the bar closes at 7pm, as there isn’t much atmosphere at the hotel. Everyone just seems to go off to their rooms. Would really benefit from having the bar open and perhaps some music outside. The restaurant options are quite rich! It might be good to have some lighter choices.

Had a lovely weekend here. Located at a beautiful spot in the countryside, this place is a real oasis. The pool area is very pleasant with ample space and loungers. Had dinner there twice as well as lunch and the quality was very good. They have nice local wines on the menu that don't cost an arm and a leg. The rooms in the trulli are lovely and modern.

There was a large group of 15-20 Americans during our stay. Set aside the fact that they were very loud (as to be expected), this place is not suitable to cater for large groups at all, as it totally changes the tranquil vibe. We complained, as did other guests, but nothing really changed to the point that we checked beforehand what their schedule was, so we could avoid the them as much as possible. The hotel could have done a better job at dealing with this, and at least offer other guests something for the inconvenience. Room lacks coffee/ tea making facilities.

Everything about our stay was just perfect. It was so quiet, peaceful and beautiful there you will not regret choosing to stay here. Our Trulli was amazing, very comfortable and clean. The restaurant was also great, with a large selection for breakfast. The grounds and setting around are nothing short of beautiful. Special stay, cannot wait to return!

In the middle od nowhere - silent and calm. But not too far away from the city. My lovely Trulli, with simply desingn interios. I came back here after few years ant it realy deserve it. Big enough swiming pool surrounded by a big grass space, then olive trees and a lot of flowers. Fantastic diverse breakfast. I hope I will be back soon.
