The hotel was new and modern and very clean. They had a shuttle to the cruise terminal. Breakfast was standard fare, good selection. The lady in charge was friendly and efficient.

On arrival, we could not access the hotel. There was no one at reception and the doors were locked. Our driver called the number and managed to get us in the door. Our keys were at reception. We were not anticipating this and did not check our emails prior to arrival. We did discover all the door code and booking details on our phones after we checked in. We are Canadians, and did not have constant internet support on our phones. This was our first experience with a small boutique hotel and a situation with “modern” technology. Next time we will be more prepared!

Great staff both Johnny and Anna were very helpful with shopping and dinner recommendations. The location is great as it is close to all amenities and even the waterfront and beach. The hotel although small is in excellent condition and extremely clean. They provide an excellent breakfast in the morning with all the essentials. They also have a bar in house should you have the need for a cold one in the afternoon. I would highly recommend this hotel for those traveling in this area or cruising as the port is near by. If I would to rate this hotel out of 10 - I would give it an 11. Well done Porto Di Roma and staff.

Everything - great location, although small it is very quaint and in excellent condition. But most of all is the great staff.

This lovely little hotel is newly renovated and is sparkling clean. Ana and Jani as well as our driver (We didn't get her name) were awesome, vvery helpful, friendly and always going out of their way to make sure that we had all we needed. They provided directions, restaurant suggestions and a great continental breakfast. There is also a shuttle to the cruise port for ten Euros. We had a great, although short, one day stay. Will definitely recommend! Oh. and we arrived before noon and we were accommodated immediately even though our room was not yet ready.

There was nothing we didn't like!!

Easy & smooth communication from beginning to end. Easy check-in & check-out. Reasonable breakfast for 2** hotel. The staff was amazing & very welcoming. We were explained about the surroundings, where to have dinner and how to reach the port (we were embarking for a cruise the next day). The receptionist was very attentive to details so once he noticed that it was my birthday (on the day of check-in), he offered a complimentary champagne; highly appreciated gesture. Walking distance from the train station, 10 minutes or so (we only had a small trolley and a backpack). Walking distance (10 minutes or so) to the Infopoint from where we took the shuttle bus to the ship. Good location, very clean, comfortable; would recommend for 1 night before embarking on a cruise.

Everything was great for a 1 night stay; it exceeded our expectations for a 2* hotel, from staff to cleanliness.

There was good communication with the hotel prior to our travel. The hotel arranged a shuttle from Rome airport to the hotel (Euro 150). The driver was waiting with our names on arrival, so no waiting around the busy arrival hall. We were met at the hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The location is great with lots of restaurants a short stroll away. The room was small but modern, clean and more the adequate for the one night stay. An excellent (10/10) breakfast was included in the price. Once again the helpful staff arranged a shuttle direct to our cruise in the harbour. A highly recommended hotel and many thanks to the staff.

Most rooms do not come with breakfast but for 5 Euros, you get a wonderful breakfast à la Europeene. It was wonderful. We only met two of the staff, Anna and Johnny, and they couldn’t be more helpful. We took their shuttle to the cruise ship for 20E for two. Good deal. I would book there again in a heartbeat.

We were only there for one night, arriving early mid morning. The hotel is close to the sea side, with many little shops and restaurants. I cannot find something I did not like. One thing very minor, the cab needs to drop you at the corner since the street is blocked off. So you need to walk and pull your suitcase 30ft on cobblestone. Very minor issue.

loved this hotel which was situated near the market and main shopping area. Our room was modern and spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and very helpful and gave us ideas where to go for dinner, they also arranged for a pick up for us to our cruise ship the following day. The hotel has a small and lovely seating area outside where we had our continental breakfast which we thought was great value. Unfortunately I left something in the safe and had to contact the hotel to see if they had found it - they did and we are now in the process of trying to organise it getting collected and returned to us in the UK via courier :-)

wonderful boutique hotel, the staff could not have been more helpful and pleasant. We had a private transfer to the port scheduled for a 10:30 pickup the next day and the driver never showed, Anna made a call for us we we had a ride in 10 minutes. The breakfast was perfect, pastries, cereal, meats, fresh fruit and juices, cheeses and fresh made Coffee, tea and Cappuccino. There are plenty of local places to grab a bite. I would certainly stay again.

Nothing at all

Excellent, location in a gorgeous little cobbled street in the old part of town, very close to restaurants & bars. Exceptional cleanliness - probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in on our world wide travels. Wonderful, friendly & helpful concierge, Johnny, who went out of his way to show us how to get about town, he took the time to tell us about the sights & good restaurants. We feel like we’ve made a new friend. It’s 2 star rating does not do this hotel justice & should certainly not deter anyone from staying here - the rooms are very well equipped with tea & coffee facilities & complimentary toiletries in the shower room. We had a large shower & plenty of towels. Crisp white bedding & very comfortable pillows. Air con in our room which was needed as the weather was beautifully warm. The hotel organised our airport transfer with a local car firm who were also very helpful & extremely efficient. We loved our stay here & we’re sad to leave but we definitely hope to return in the future.

Hotel Porto Di Roma was very nice for the 1 night we stayed there. Since arrived late in the night, and the mini-bar was stocked and inexpensive. Room key and code were given, and we checked ourselves in, since it was after hours. Had a nightcap and slept. Room was very nice and clean. For breakfast, the staff was very friendly and helped us book a shuttle for $10 euros per person to the cruise terminal. Very affordable.

The beds were OK, but not super comfortable. They could have had the AC running, but did not. So it took some time for the room to cool down.
