This hotel was a perfect central location to everything in Como, we could step right outside to several great bars, cafes and restaurants. The train and piers were within walking distance. Our room was larger than most you tend to get in Europe (and we traveled with a 1 and 3 year old). Friendly staff and clean rooms. Hotel provided a baby cot, laundry service, breakfast and shuttle to and from the airport with their own car seats!

Might be noisy at night in the piazza for some (especially on weekends). Very small and slow elevator but that is if I'm really nitpicking.

The warmth welcome from the receptionist , the location , breakfast and also the lady who serves the breakfast , she's very helpful and polite , also they have a partnership with Lago carpark which is 5mins walk from the hotel and is very convenient.

The location is one of the best in Como. The staff were really helpful indeed. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast was good but could be improved with a better range of breads and more wholefoods like nuts and seeds. The hotel also arranged our taxi to and from the airport. The taxi firm was excellent and less expensive than booking online. Overall, the hotel was very good value for money and I would stay there again.

There is only one lift, so it was often busy during peak checkout times in the mornings. It wasn't too much of a problem for us, but those who have to use a lift would need to allow more time.

The location is terrific, close to the water and overlooking a beautiful piazza which is humming with activity most of the day. Also, it's in close proximity to a lot of good restaurants and bars. The staff was friendly and competent. Our room was neat and updated, and that includes the bathroom and shower. We opted to have a driver take us from the airport which was arranged by the hotel, but the location is easy walking distance from either train station, although easier from Como Nord. We would stay there again, without a doubt.

Could not get my wifi password to work, but because we were only there for a short period of time, I didn't ask for help.

Hotel is in an excellent location near Lake Como. The breakfast was well stocked and constantly filled up by the staff. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of place’s nearby for food and drink.

Air con was extremely loud but couldn’t turn off and open window as the of people laughing and shouting till 3 in morning!! was so loud you couldn’t sleep which was a real shame as hotel room as otherwise lovely, book a room on the side.

The location was excellent. This hotel is so close to the lake and ferries as well as great restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large, very comfortable and clean. There was lots of space to unpack a suitcase and feel organized. It has air-conditioning, which we found out to be super important on our trip throughout Italy in July. I would definitely come back here. One of the best sleeps!

Our room was on the 5th floor, which is an attic room. I did not fully realize when booking that it does not have a view of the piazza but a sky light. This is not really a negative for the hotel but if booking again I would have loved to be in any of the rooms with a true window overlooking the piazza.

Only 10 minute walk from Train Station. Staff very helpful. I needed another adapter for my plug - no problem to the staff. A quirky room in the attic. While there was no view from that room, it was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't included in price, but was only €13 per person - and certainly worth it. A great array on offer, everything tasty and fresh. Hotel very central to everything.

The lift was very, very slow. We were up on floor 5 and seemed to take ages. Not enough plugs - I had to unplug the lamp to charge my phone.

Only one problem. I had booked a pick up at Milan airport through Booking.com. I did this AFTER I asked hotel if they had transportation. They were late getting back to me However, I sent an email stating I ordered a car through Booking .com. They sent someone. Unbeknow to us, we went with thst person which we found out was through hotel and we were charged AN ADDITIONAL 130E because of that mistake. The woman said since I booked through Booking. Com for the hotel, she thought I meant I wanted the hotel to pick us up. I specifically sent email saying I hired a car through Booking. Com. She wanted to know why I gave her me info for visit and I explained EVERY hotel asks what time you should arrive and how you are arriving. Not fair. I felt ripped off. But other than that all was good. They credited our breakfast which came to 50 E but damage was already done !

Location aas excellent. Only a few minires of walking to the Lago train station which takes you to Milan. Our bed was heavenly.. nice and FIRM!!! Room temperature was good, altho some ventilation would be good as well at night as the air was stagnant (but understandably its winter)

Not 'didnt like' but moremof could be better. The price of their breakfast could be better. Yes, £13/person - you pay for the convenience but bearing in mind there are othr shops literally downstairs tht could cater for 2 with tht price. Selection isnt too bad.

The location was the best as well as my room. Everything was 4* quality and that’s what it should be. The towels were high quality, my balcony view was wonderful. They didn’t miss anything when they renovated. Lots of space in bathroom for my toiletries. They had a fridge which I didn’t use but still nice to have. TV worked well and had CNN. The breakfast buffet was A PLUS! The staff were all well trained, courteous and friendly. I thought the price was excellent too.

Housekeeping threw out my plastic and never replaced it. Also, I could’ve used another Body Cream.
