Excellent location. Very good restaurant. Lovely staff. Comfortable bed, lovely lake view. 5 minute walk to Comp Lago train station.

Room very small for what it cost. Unable to get any English TV channels or SKY. Needs a bit of TLC.

Stunning view over looking the Lake from the veranda windows, massive bedroom with great amenities. The staff on reception were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a tasty variety of foods and filled me up.

The staff member on shift in the restaurant in the evening was rude to us after her saw we were a same sex couple. He was the only person who did this and so we left the restaurant.

The location was perfect right on the Lakeside and near to the ferry ticket office. Bedroom was spacious with a view of the lake, breakfast was fantastic with a huge variety of food and drink. Staff were really helpful and pleasant. Lovely restaurant and bar area and a lobby to relax in. The adjoining restaurant served excellent food and the young waiters were very experienced despite their young age.

I’m sad to say the two restaurant managers did not appear to have the same customer focus as the rest of the staff which was a little disappointing

The location was great. Our room faced the water. The room was super clean and the bed comfortable. There were only 2 glasses provided in the bathroom. 2 more glasses have been nice. A hot water kettle with tea bags and sugar would have made the room perfect. The front desk manager was abrupt and not friendly when answering questions about bus service

Location is great with lake view, I travelled in June 2024, so there was construction going on in the city right opposite the hotel's front, which is hampering the view, but that's temporary, 10- 12 min walk from the main train station. Close to many restaurants, and shopping outlets. Rooms are decent size, but slightly outdated. But seems they have renovated the toilets recently. One day we took Box Breakfast with us to St. Moritz, which was very good, other day we had breakfast at the hotel. The spread was huge.

The toilet does not have even a single hook or rack to hang towels and other clothings!

The location of the hotel was excellent. Right at the ferry port and a short walk’s distance from the train station, it is situated in a beautiful art nouveau building. The windows were insulated well, so the room was quiet. It was clean with nice bed linen and the quality of the breakfast was good, too.

We found the interior decor didn’t do justice to the beauty of the original building - it is time for a tasteful redecoration. The luggage hold area should be a separate room and not just a corner in the lobby, accessible to anyone.

The best location and views. Comfortable bed. Good housekeeping. All staff were friendly, helpful and professional.

I had a room with a door to an adjoining room. The door was locked but I could hear everything they were saying - word for word! It was a beautiful old, elegant hotel but unfortunately with some updates in parts from the 80s/90s which were not nice but they were only in the common areas. The rooms were still very elegant.

We LOVED our room, with a small balcony overlooking the lake. The room itself was terrific. And when the construction is completed, it will be even better!

GETTING TO THE HOTEL! We arrived at San Giovanni railroad station - no busses, no taxis. Walked down 3 flights of stone steps, thinking the street below would have the above. Did not. Called the Hotel. She said "You can take the No.5 bus - from the Station". Back up the hill. Half an hour later, the No.5 came. We rode ONE stop; the driver said "You must get off here and take the No.4!" We got off. Waited. Nothing. Called the hotel back. Were told "You can WALK to the hotel!" We did, a bit frazzled and upset. But we loved our room - and Lorella, once we met her.
