I was in Italy getting to know the country from north to south, and I can say with total certainty that the best place where I was was in il architetto de jacobo, the spectacular room, with a window with a beautiful view of the city center. Located in the quietest, safest and most beautiful area of the city. The breakfast was one of the most complete that I ate on a trip through the country with selected and very high quality products, in a very quiet environment Last but not least, the Jacobo the owner, is a gentleman, a very kind man who knows the city like the back of his own hand. He gave me all the tips I needed to make my tour of the city easier.

The hotel is modern and comfortable. The included breakfast was great and hearty, with the possibility of paying extra for an omelette which was very good. We also ate at the bistro in the evening which was exceptional for both food quality and price. The staff were fantastic and clearly family owned and run, so you could feel their passion for both hospitality and great food. I am already looking forward to going back and next time I will book a table at the restaurant in advance!!

My only comment is that the room doors are a bit thin so you can hear people in the corridor but other than that it was very quiet and didn’t cause a disturbance once asleep - especially as people were mindful of this fact.

There was a mix-up re our booking. We had booked a room with sofa, so that we could sit and read, but none was available. The hotel then kindly upgraded us to a very comfortable suite instead. The breakfast was very good.

The mix-up over the booking was unfiortunate but we were also disappointed to discover that the hotel restaurant (its Michelin status was a key reason for our booking the hotel) was shut on the night in question (contrary to their website)

Wonderful location, stylish interior. Comfortable bed. Terrific breakfast with high quality produce. Bistro had €19 menu of the day which was delicious.

Our waiter was rude to us and wouldn’t repeat the dessert dishes when we asked what they were (he spoke in very fast Italian) He then used English to say he had already told us once and seemed annoyed because we didn’t speak Italian. It definitely took the enjoyment away from a fabulous meal.

We have been upgraded into the Junior Suite Evergreen, and it was a treat. The room itself was really spacious, with lots of furnitures as some more such as a jacuzzi. The staff was really friendly and super accomodating for any request we had. The breakfast was good, bonus point for the piece of raw honey from which you could directly cut what you wanted. Finally the location is ideal, in front of the central station but yet quiet, from the suite at least.

I loved the property. The building is beautiful and the reception area warm and welcoming. It is opposite the train station so fantastic for getting in and out of town. The restaurants were brilliant and quality superb. We loved it!!

It would have been great to have better amenities in the room. Breakfast was ok but not what we expected after the amazing quality at dinner

The hotel is just at the front of train station and very near at the city center, supermarket. Hotel staffs are very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Their breakfast buffet is very simple but good enough. The suite was very nice, and has a nice view of mountains!

The hotel was clean, but there was a dirt/stain at the side of the toilet bowl that maybe the cleaner didn’t see. But apart from that we didn’t have any problems

Lovely hotel directly across from the train station. The city center is right there for shopping, dining, walking through the historic center of Domodossola. The room was very comfortable. Great shower, and toiletries. Generous breakfast. We'd happily stay here again. The restaurant was closed while we were there, but everyone we talked to in town told us we needed to come back to dine there.

The sound proofing between rooms was unpleasant. It sounded like the neighboring guests were using our bathroom. That was the only negative for us. However, we would still stay here again.

It's a lovely place, right opposite the train station in a beautiful town. There is a 3 course menu of the day for 18€ which is Italian sublime! I love this place and can't wait to come back.

The bistro staff seem very busy with the restaurant and didn't have much time for smiles for me as a bistro client. A very minor issue and it may be cultural??

Fantastic location, just across from the train station and a short walk into the centre. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room had a lovely view of the mountains. The breakfast was great and plentiful, and the evening meal we had in the restaurant was delicious. We are very much looking forward to visiting again.

Everything was great, however a kettle in the room would be a welcome addition.
