We absolutely loved staying at Masseria San Francesco. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Puglia and staying at Masseria San Francesco again! Everyone who worked there was so incredibly friendly and helpful, and even the other guests were a pleasure to chat with. The property is beautiful, and the rooms are spacious with everything you want and need. The restaurant and common areas were wonderful for working and relaxing. I cannot recommend Masseria San Francesco enough!

Well kept, with taste of luxury. Since it was our anniversary, we were offered 30 mins free massages.

Since we arrived early, we had to wait for about 30 mins, which was ok. A receptionist told us to wait by the pool and that she would call us when room is ready. Two hours later no one came to look for us. Not even a glass of water was offered or any info on WiFi or infrastructure. Vases with artificial flowers :( besides all the abundance of real ones around. Breakfast was just ok, with nothing specific standing out. More attention needs to be paid to the quality of the food. In the morning no one came to ask us if we wanted coffee, had to go look for someone at the bar.

Fabulous Masseria near to the Puglian coast and inland points of interest in an idyllic position surrounded by roman archaeological remains and the natural environment. If you're a lover of a peaceful place to stay as well as photography its ideal. Wild flowers are abundant and the scent of jasmine and rosemary were apparent as you left your room. The pool area was stunning and in a rock setting, so inviting. Our room was perfect and surpassed our expectations as did this accommodation

Beautiful, serene, amazing breakfast and very chilled vibe. Restaurant staff very friendly and excellent service.

Beds and pillows could be a bit softer. Reception staff quite gruff and curt.

The masseria is absolutely beautiful, with comfortable rooms, great facilities (pool, open air gym, lovely grounds) and an excellent spa area.

We found the service to be lacking for the entirety of our stay. No help offered to bring luggage to our room. Front desk staff was cold & transactional. The breakfast set-up is a bit weird where all the food is behind a counter and there is only one person to serve, leading to a queue.

The place is absolutely gorgeous, surrounded by hundred year old olive trees. The buildings, the rooms, the gardens, the pool area are beautifully designed with attention to detail. The staff are extremely friendly, kind, always with a smile on their faces. Anna, Bri, Angela, and the restaurant manager whose name we forgot looked after us very well. The breakfast buffet was amazing, wide choice of fruit, fresh pastries, various cheeses and cold cuts, etc, and excellent Italian coffee. The cocktails were made with great care. The chocolate souffle (our favourit dinner dessert) was addictive!

The wifi was a bit slow. The dinners weren't as great as in the other restaurants where we ate out. We felt it was a bit over-elaborate and not as flavoursome as for example Ardecuore in Fasano. We would have liked more cucina povera dishes.

Lovely property, well located, nice facilities. Clean, well maintained, daily housekeeping, good aircon. Excellent restaurant!

The breakfast set up is very odd and hinders the experience - you cannot serve yourself at the buffet but instead tell the waitperson what you want. It makes it very awkward (and slow!) with everyone queued up. I wonder if this started during the pandemic? But surely can be relaxed to self serve now.

The location is excellent, almost in the wilds but close enough to the beaches and other towns worth visiting. The room (ours was a loft sea view) was very good and the only thing we’d ask for is a complementary bottle of water each being left in the room. We also ate at the Masseria two evenings and one lunch and found the food to be very good. The first evening meal was actually prepared especially for us following an email exchange with the Masseria.

Our only gripe was given the location of the Masseria in the middle of farming territory and it being September the farmers use fire crackers to scare off birds from the freshly planted fields which can be a bit irritating!

My sister and I stayed here for 3 days not knowing that the G7 summit had just taken place right in that area - So besides the restaurant closure on Sunday and the power outage on Monday, the staff made our stay very comfortable despite the situation. Breakfast was great, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable!

Beautiful hotel, breakfast was amazing

We read the food was amazing and we wanted to eat there. But when we arrived on sunday, they told us they didnt serve an evening meal on a sunday which very frustrating and annoying this hadnt been previously communicated. Its very remote so it wasnt as straightforward as going next door for some food.
