Exceptional property Reception in bar and restaurant area with great design features. All staff friendly and welcoming Room was ready. Early check in was so much appreciated. Such a warm and cosy place. Spring weather cold and wet and had been chilled in hotels for 3 weeks. First place that was warm. Wish I could have stayed another night Room modern understated tasteful decor. Clean. Super comfy bed. Lovely linen. Shower excellent Wifi fast and stable Coffee and very good buffet breakfast. Suggest more fresh fruit and plant based options for the future. But prob not what most folk seem to want yet! Very highly recommend

a well- located hotel not far off the motorway, Mathis was a very comfortable stop. Our large bedroom on the ground floor (with steps so not wheelchair accessible) was spotlessly clean with a good bathroom, the staff were very helpful and our dinner delicious with good local specialities, also favoured by the locals, always a good sign! Parking is available on site for a small fee.

Very clean, great location, excellent staff

No elevator. They offered to carry our suitcases up to room, however, when you have mobility problems, lack of elevator is an issue. Also, needs a bit more variety for breakfast food.

Excellent breakfast.Several breakfast cereals provided,ham ,cheese,yogurt, excellent sour dough bread,eggs and much more.Lovely young lady on breakfast duty and the receptionist on duty the previous day when I arrived had a warm and friendly,welcoming disposition. I liked the ambiance.

I absolutely loved the Hotel. As I am doing Via Francigena I had decided to take a day off after walking 177 km and this place really surprised me positively. The Staff, the food, the location and whatever I can say was way more than I expected. The breakfast was beyond what you can imagine, and so was the restaurant - I really loved the vintage style. Above all this, they even gave me equipment to treat my legs as I had some blissters, what more can you ask for?

We stayed here while hiking the Via Francigena and it was among the best hotels we stayed in. Comfortable and clean room, very good restaurant and breakfast, ample space in bar for reading and internet use - overall highly recommended.

the people at this hotel are amazing. The truly working here and making your stay to be rememvered and the interior design is just lovely. The restaurant in the hotel serves amazing food!

room 101 was next to the staircase and in the room you can hear the people going up and down the staircase.

The Mathis Hotel is in a very Central location. The Hotel room was large, Comfortable and very Clean. Breakfast had a good choice to cover all tastes. The staff were friendly and efficient.

Does what it promises: modern, very comfortable hotel, some nice touches: chilled water dispensers. Restaurant was closed, but Croce Bianca a short distance away was excellent
