Size of the room was great. Bathroom is all redone. If you walk down the road about 4 minutes like mentioned in the add there is the little beach bar (very basic, not many choices for alcholic drinks) with the tables as pictured. Coffee machine in the room with 1 coffee per person and 1 tea per person with a decent size basket of pastries for the morning. There is a little kitchenette in the main room which I didn't realize so that was nice! They drove us to the airport when needed in the morning so can't complain about anything! Location is close to the sea side with tons of great sea food restaurants within walking distance.

Our room was very nice and clean and comfortable. We booked to be close to airport for an early morning flight. Rooms on 2nd floor and no elevator. Do not recall that being stated in online information. Was not a problem as staff took our suitcase up (we left big one downstairs or we would have had a difficult time getting it down very early for our taxi and flight).

We did not like the fact that taxi was the only way to airport and we worried that it might not show up. (it did and even a bit early so we had no problem.) We were on our own if it did not come.

The room & bathroom were very clean, nice size for couple. Bright with nice modern decor. The bed was comfortable but I would have liked some extra pillows or larger pillows. There was a coffee machine with nice coffee pods, beware, after turning it on and letting the coffee run you have to push the button a second time to stop the water flowing. I made a few spillages!! The TV is good too, if you don’t speak Italian bring your Netflix, amazon or other logins. The cleaner was very friendly and nice. And the host helped us out of a tight spot. We got stuck in Fregene beach one night, as the buses stopped quite early evening mid week, and there are no taxis in the area, he had to drive out to collect us and charged us €50 which was better than our other options. There are some really good restaurants in the village too. There is a reasonable and small beach about 10mins walk away. We missed the bus to Fregene beach one day and went there. The beach itself is fine but the surroundings aren’t great. I’d advise planning everything really well or just rent a car. We did a lot of winging it and we paid for it!

The breakfast is some teas and coffee in the room & some packaged pastries, Melba toasts & biscuits. There is a fridge in the room so you can store some fresh food, and the kitchenette advertised is in a communal hallway but when I went to toast some bread under the grill I was told you can’t cook at all… bit confusing ! Then there was a knock at the door and I was told we could microwave some toast in the other communal kitchen downstairs. I decided to go without 🙂 The accommodation itself was nice if you are aiming to stay in Fiumicino. But unless you need to Fiumicino, I wouldn’t. Fregene is much nicer but everything was booked up, so book ahead of time as it is popular.

Lovely quiet location in a residential area. Very comfortable bed for a B&B the bed was better than hotels I have stayed at. The breakfast was more than adequate with access to tea and coffee facilities. (This isn’t a hotel so don’t expect a full breakfast provided) the host was very friendly and accommodating even with my total lack of Italian and his lack of English. Close to beach, restaurants and cafes.

Fuimicino is not a vacation spot. We chose to stay at Purple Italy for the one night before our flight home. The room and bathroom were very clean, and the bed very comfortable. It was a short ride to the airport (25E by shuttle). The breakfast was minimal: 2 coffee packets for espresso machine, pre-packaged pastries, 2 small juice boxes. Short walk to beach, but it is not a swimming/sunbathing beach. Easy walk to food stores and restaurants.

The rooms were very clean and the bathroom too. Everything looked like it was newly built. The air conditioning was also working good. It was also well ventilated. We also got a big fridge in our own room. Apart from the refrigerator, there was also a small area with microwave to use with few crockery pieces to use. The host also booked us an airport shuttle on request.

Although they only spoke Italian, the owners Danielle and Alexander went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate us. One night I forgot my key in the room and Alexander left the restaurant he was having dinner in just to come and let me in. Google translate was very helpful to both of us. The place was very clean and conveniently located one block from the beach and a few blocks from the riverfront with many restaurants. Purple Italy was a good value and we would gladly recommend it to anyone.

Room was small by American standards but expected by European standards. There is no elevator so you have to carry your bags up to your room which is a minor inconvenience.

The size of the room was great . It was clean with nice decor. Easy access. Had shared kitchen facilities. Short distance to airport.

The pillows were very soft .the mattress could have been a bit firmer. The breakfast was a mere gesture . The surrounding area was poor. Some Abandoned cars and buildings . No beach !!

It was amazing, great coffe, pastries, cereal great idea we even had a refrigerator with juice and water in it. Super clean, great safe area. The owner great person. Thank you very very much.

Very clean and new. Generous with breakfast pastries and coffee machine in room. Host did not speak English but made an effort using a translator app. Close drive to airport to catch a flight.

The apartment was up two flights of stairs. The pastries were pre packaged kind which I am not fond of eating.
