Frankly I wasn't expecting much when I first got there, as the hotel is not large and not part of a chain. Also, it's less expensive than other hotels close to the Fiumicino airport. I was ready for a mediocre performance, but what I saw was exceptional. The place sparkles from cleanliness and new furnishings. The family that runs it is exceedingly cordial and helpful. This is a labor of love for them, and it shows. The breakfast is exceptional. Someone put a lot of time into thinking about its content and execution. Probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had. The hotel is also close to the airport, and there is a reasonably priced shuttle there. I recommend it very highly.

We stopped for a night at the Inn at the end of our vacation, as a staging point before our flight home from Fiumicino the next day. It was fantastic. The family is so welcoming and helpful, making sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. The Inn is bright and very clean. The bed was the most comfortable we had on our trip. We will certainly return on our next trip to Italy.

The neighborhood around the Inn has enough shops and restaurants to serve, but is not a destination in itself. But the Inn itself is excellent and well located to Fiumicino, so overall it serves the function very well.

I stayed here on the recommendation of my friend, who has stayed here in the past. I wanted to be close to the airport, because I had an early morning flight. When he described it, it sounded too good to be true, and I thought he was exaggerating. He was not! This inn and staff are a little slice of Heaven! Old world charm with every modern convenience, it’s very unique and relaxing. The room was immaculate and more than comfortable. The outside courtyard has wonderfully comfortable furniture for those that like to be outside and read or gather, and they even have a gorgeous covered room for those days when the weather is less than perfect. I highly recommend the 07:00 breakfast. It was delicious local fare, and just what I needed to start the day ahead of a very long flight. The shuttle ride to the Rome airport was stress free with more friendly conversation about my stay. I can’t imagine a better place to stay if you are in the area, and it would make the perfect home base for longer stays. I highly recommend this inn, and I’m sure you will as well.

I lost my cell phone at Rome Termini but was able to call Rome Airport Inn at the Information Desk at Rome Airport. They provided airport shuttle and allowed me to use their computer to email my friend in Los Angeles, with whom I would be staying at my next transfer. I was able to get her address and phone number before the desk closed at Rome Airport Inn. They provided airport shuttle back to the airport and I arrived safely at my friend's home in LA. They helped me at a difficult time. The room was very quiet and ambience was elegant. There was also a gelato store around the corner that was convenient. I would definitely come here again!

Desk is open till 10 p.m. but there was no response from 9 p.m.

The owner/hosts are absolutely delightful, extremely welcoming & offered accurate advice regarding the best restaurants & their locations. The presentation of the property & their rooms is nothing short of impeccable, it’s an absolute credit to them. After experiencing many instances of very poor customer service during our time in Rome, it was such a relief & pleasure to have finally met such professional, warm and friendly people. We have no hesitation in recommending the Rome Airport Inn.

We couldn’t find fault with anything…not that we were looking. The family and staff were all so friendly and helpful and the Inn itself was in immaculate shape and condition. The room was beautiful and had a wrap around balcony. Large bathroom. And the breakfast was fabulous! So many choices of delicious food…excellent way to start your day! 10 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to the restaurants of Via Della Torre Clementina. 10 minute drive to the airport (FCO). None of the crowds of central Rome. It was just what we were looking for. Oh, and we can’t forget Sasha, the little white puppy. So adorable! Thank you so much Alessandra and Marco!

Rome Airport Inn is awesome. Host Family, Alessandra, Marco, Maria and Enrico, made us feel like family. We have stayed here maybe 4-5 times in the past and will definitely return. This Inn has met all our needs as we arrived or departed from numerous trips to various parts of Italy. We felt cared for, felt safe, always had an outstanding breakfast, and timely pickup and return to the airport. The car rental place is within walking distance and there are great restaurant recommendations. The host family goes out of their way to meet all our needs.

Nothing could be better than Rome Airport Inn!

The breakfast was absolutely amazing! The rooms, although small, had lots of comforts and amenities and were well designed to make use of the space. The hotel owners helped arrange taxis and carry luggage up the stairs. The beds were comfortable and there were coffee supplies in the room.

We had communicated that we needed early check in and thought those arrangements were set, but when the taxi dropped us off, there was no one there. We called and the owner sent her husband to open the gate. I have heard that arranging early check in at these smaller hotels near the airport is difficult, as friends staying at another small hotel had the same experience. Also, we booked through Booking.Com and the hotel was advertised as including breakfast, but when we got there we were told that Booking.Com reservations did not cover the breakfast, and we were charged extra.

This is a wonderful small hotel located a mile or so away from FCO, run by a charming family. It's the kind of place you'd like to stay for a few days, if you had the chance. (Being an airport hotel, however, it's doubtful that many clients stay more than a single night.) This hotel does not have an elevator. Since we are seniors, they were able to offer us a suite on the ground floor, which was much appreciated. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with eggs, sausage, etc. made to order. For a small charge, they provided shuttle service to the airport. They recommended a great seafood restaurant within walking distance, and the restaurant gave us a lift back to the hotel. All of this was an experience far superior to what we would have expected in an airport hotel. Truly awesome!

Staff was informative and exceptionally gracious and welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Shuttle from the airport was quick and the driver was solicitous since a member of the party was on a walker and could not handle her luggage and hand carries. All around a great place to R&R. We will come back just to stay and not to transit.

People should be aware that there is not an elevator to go up to the guest rooms or down to the basement where the breakfast room is. We knew about the situation because we asked but we wanted to stay there because of all the positive ratings the inn had gotten.
