We went here in may 2022. It was a nice house with a lovely host and staff. They treat you very kindly and take good care of your wishes. Small things like getting a snack at the swimming pool without asking for it or the possibillity to borrow their (city) bikes for a small trip in the countryside makes it a feel very welcoming and homely. The rooms are well designed and very clean. The swimming pool was nice with a good water temperature (not too cold). Plenty of space for anyone to lay on a lounger with options to get in the shade with parasols on a hot day. We liked the garden aswell, with a place to eat outside, even on a rainy day. Dont forget your mosquitospray though, with a little pond nearby they could be active on the warmer evenings.

The direct vicinity is not the most beatifull and not very walk and bike friendly, but you are near Formigine, Sassuolo and Maranello and the cities of Modena, Bologna and Parma. They are all in driveable distance or even by public transit.

The location was perfect to go visit Bologna, Modena, Maranello,… The room was very nice, clean, there was a big ‘rain’ shower, cute little shutters, a very large television and airco. You can eat lunch/dinner at the owners restaurant, which is located 5 min. from the guesthouse. It is very quiet, you can enjoy the beautiful garden and sit on the terras. The owner, Marco, is available to anwser all your questions and to provide you with tips and tricks for the area.

Because of the weather, breakfast was served in the room. This wasn’t always comfortable. (We were told that in summertime breakfast is served in the garden) WiFi didn’t connect well or didn’t work.

Ca Ross is a wonderful place. We had a great time and we felt very welcome. The atmosphere were very familiar and everybody was helpfull and took good care of us. The place is used by locals in the weekend, and that made a lot of fun for everybody. I can highly recommend this place. The breakfast was fantastic and was served in the garden which was well kept and beautiful. Marco was a splendid host who made us feel at home from the first moment.

We received a warm reception and there was ample and secure parking. We were shown to our rooms and they were the deluxe double rooms which were immaculate and very tastefully and professionally renovated. The Windows had mosquito screens, so we could leave them open but the air conditioning was superb so we left the windows closed. There was a minibar and snacks and also bottled water and more snacks (to pay for) in the pool changing area. The bathroom was well equipped with toothbrushes and toothpaste, vanity kits, soap, shampoo, body lotion and shower gel. The pool was pretty (we didn’t swim as we arrived late in the day and it was a bit too chilly Breakfast was plentiful and we ate on a long table in the garden. We chatted to the owner and he explained his thinking behind his renovation and he had built a B&B which he would like to stay in which was modern and clean and inviting. Loved the place and would happily return. Great spot to stay if you visit Modena as it was only a 10 minute drive there.

Perfect location, super friendly owner and staff. The whole area is amazing. You feel like you are at a friend‘s house. Prices are very reasonable. The pool is perfect for relaxing.

Maybe a little more diverse breakfast which was over all still good!

The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of breads and cakes. We loved the artisan cheeses that were offered as well.

It’s hard when nobody on the staff speaks English. We used Google translate to communicate but it definitely has an impact on a conversation.

The hosts were amazing! This is a beautiful area, We rate them 10 out of 10 stars! The rooms were modern and clean, the food was one of the best we have had. It was like we were on a fairytale!

An excellent welcome and enjoyable stay, all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the place was in a peaceful place just far enough from the town.

Lovely room, great breakfast, large pool area with lots of trees for shade. Nearby town Formigine was a positive surprise. Lively and with great restaurants and cafés.
