The guesthouse is located on the side of a scenic hill and has a terrific view of the sea from the terrace. The breakfast is fresh and with several different options, and the owner will tailor it to your needs. The nearest beach is about 15 minutes walk and is quite conveniently located for the hotel. The rooms are clean and as you see in the pictures.

The wifi is too slow to be useful, and if someone is watching TV in the neighbouring room, you can clearly hear them. If you want to see the Old town in Gaeta and try out the restaurants there, it’s quite a long walk in the heat.

The view was amazing with a big terrace constantly bathing in sun, a relaxing tanning-session was just a few steps from our room. The host was very sweet and made lovely croissants and other tasty pastries every morning. We found our dream beach just a 10 minute walk from the house. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked really well.

The house is a bit far from the heart of the city, and so we had to walk a fair bit to get to our favourite restaurants in the evening, but in return you get to stay in a very peaceful neighbourhood with a great view when you stay here.

Cozy room with an incredible balcony. It gives you a relaxing atmosphere that's just what you want. You find Monica's touch on the breakfast, only local products with a quality over the expected. The room was very comfortable and for a small structure ir gives you all you need. Gaeta is a must visit place. Highly recommended.

The view is insane. Monica and Pietro are delightful hosts, very helpful and very happy to help. The place was really clean, our room was big, bright and very comfortable. The place is in a great location - you can walk to Serapo beach (if you're ready to walk back uphill. But it's fine, not a crazy slope) and it's only a 5 mins drive from the centre of Gaeta, and 15 mins from the beautiful Sperlonga. Plus there are a lot of other beaches around. We were very lucky as we were there alone, no other guests. But I'm sure the place is equally nice in high season, as there are only 3/4 rooms in total and, as I wrote already, Monica and Pietro are incredibly nice (I loved my morning chat with Monica while having breakfast). They even left a bottle of prosecco when we arrived as I told them we had just gotten married! Gli Archi sul Mare was the perfect hideaway for us!

There is nothing we didn't like of Gli archi sul mare. Everything was very nice and pleasant, the view is absolutely stunning, Monica and Pietro are the kindest hosts you can hope to find. The last bit of road to the place is quite narrow and uphill, so it's a bit tricky at first - but after a day or two you get used to it. The view you get from the terraces makes up for the relative difficulty of driving to Gli archi sul mare. We couldn't use the WiFi when we were there as it was being fixed (but we had roaming and good signal so we didn't mind).

the person who ran the place had no one to do breakfast so gave us instructions to get to a café on the busy main road- at a petrol station and it was a good 1km walk - we gave up walking on main road and ducked down into the town for our coffee and croissant- when I gave manager opportunity to rectify the problem he totally ignored us-a pity to put a bad mark on an otherwise lovely place-
