The hotel is off the centre of Genoa, which is a big advantage - you can calmly stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The area where the hotel is located is a quiet and respectable one. Besides, Bocadasse is one of the popular tourist attractions in Genoa. La Capannina provides very good services despite somewhat basic accommodation. The property is immaculately clean. It offers good breakfast in the morning, which is complimentary, and an excellent wi-fi connection throughout the whole building. The hotel is one of the oldest in the area which has some but not critical signs in some rooms. However, this does not diminish the merits of the hotel. I had stayed in the hotel a number of times before and will certainly get back in the future.

The guy on reception was a bit of a comedian which was really nice and welcoming after a long day's motorbike ride. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for him. There was no restaurant open in the hotel and the reception guy told me to where to find some local bars and restaurants etc. The hotel itself was OK, nothing to write home about or complain. It's in quite a good location and if I was visiting the town again I would happily choose this one.

Nothing really, breakfast is not as good as most hotel's I visited in France. I know this is Italy and maybe they do things differently, (I'm sure they do actually), but a bit variety here ?

Very friendly staff, above all the night receptionist, the room was nice and always clean. position of the hotel is excellent...a few steps from bus station to rich GE center and 100m from the sea. Very good they offer also rent a bicycle but pity they dont have baby chiar option. The only thing they could improve a bit is the breakfast as they (in Liguria) have so many delicious they could offer.

the wifi did barely work. the staff seemed to know and wasn’t able to fix it. if you need wifi for whatever reason - stay away. even worse was the breakfast. lets say they just did enough to claim there IS breakfast. Single serving low quality sugar, bad coffee, dry bread, nothing fresh… if you have some idea of the Italian cuisine or care about your nutrition you will feel the pain. i guess this totally derailed our experience. if they didn‘t offer breakfast in the first place, we wouldnt have missed it - even for the same price. but now we felt cheated - and ate elsewhere in the morning.

Location was great, short walk to a cute little village on the water. Included an Air conditioner that was nice and cold! The whole area was beautiful and the hotel was centrally located to a lot of great places. Three beds in the room we perfect for our family of four with teenagers. Kids says they had the best night sleep in a long time.

No blankets on the beds, but the sheets are fine as long as you can find the AC remote in the middle of the night. Lol. Bathroom was a little small but adequate.

Location is great, very near fisherman village Boccadasse and beaches. Bus station is around the corner, bus 42 goes directly to Genova and it is good options to visit very interested and vivid town. Stuff is kind and helpfull. Breakfast is good. They have a parking for hotel guests in the street.

The location, the staff, nice atmosphere, we had free parking. Loved it. Very relaxing. Little terrace outside, which was definitely a big plus. Would stay again.

No duvets. It wasn't summer yet and I was cold at night. No phone or minibar. Breakfast was very limited.

A great value for money and excellent location, near the bus stop directly to Genova train station, promenade, supermarket, nice and quiet room. Special thanks to the most helpful receptionists - they made the stay really memorable. The hotel is definitely my first choice upon returning to Genova.

The stuffs were super nice and helpful. The location is the best possible. It's just 3 minutes away from Boccaddase Beach which is astonishing. The room was clean and nice.

The breakfast was not a very exceptional offer. It was just a couple of ordinary options.
