The place was wonderful. It was better than I thought it would be. It is super clean and comfortable. We had such nice naps and good night sleep in the bed. 😁 The hosts are extremely helpful and nice. Eleonora was so helpful and available all the time. Every time I asked something, she replied fast and also helped with recommendations. I just took out my phone and read her recommendations every time I wasn’t sure where we should go. Her dad, which met us every morning cheerfully and served us breakfast, doesn’t know english, however we didn’t have a problem to understand each other since most of the food words are international.. We used google translate a few times that we needed to have a conversation. The breakfast was nice, we got some croissants and were able yo make sandwiches with fresh cheese and salami and Eleonora’s dad served us coffee every morning.

The only small factor that we didn’t particularly like was the fact that the apartment was a bit further from the beaches and that’s what we wanted to visit the most, however it is very well connected with buses, so there was very little need to walk. There is a bus literally 4 mins away so that was great.

The apartment was clean and the beds were good (firm mattress). The air-conditioning was very welcome and functioned correctly. There was enough space for 2 persons. Our hostess helped find a good parking place for the car and provided us with top notch information about the city and how to get around (public transport, locations to visit, where to eat, etc). This gave us a head start and helped make the most of our 2 day stay in Genua. The place is family owned and they were all very kind and did their utmost best to help us (and other guests) and make us feel welcome and comfortable.

The bathroom was clean and spacious. All was comfortable, but with two suggestions for improvement perhaps: - find a solution to prevent water from the shower to reach the rest of the bathroom floor - have 1 or more (stronger) hooks on the wall to hang the bathroom shower close to the shower itself

Very unusual b & b set up inside a traditional apartment building, rooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Eleonora was extremely helpful with advice and suggestions and her father was a great character and super friendly and entertaining (and kind as our son was unwell).

The location was a bit far from the centre though buses were easy to navigate. The area around the apartment felt a bit unsafe at night.

Eleonora is the best host you can have, always there to help. She was always there for breakfast to help us with the coffee. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the facilities you need. The rooms are spacious and clean. There is cleaning done in each room every day. Definetly the best value for money in the city!

Very nice hosts. The daughter of the house, Leonora speaks good English, but the father does not, so that is sometimes difficult to communicate, but is only at breakfast. And besides, in Italy they speak Italian, we expected that more or less :). Room is clean and met all expectations. We were tipped about a very nice restaurant, close by. Genuine local Italian, excellent quality-price ratio. But what a noise those Italians can make! Not suitable for the faint of heart. It's called Da Marcello. Genua is a nice break for a few nights. There's a lot to see around Genua as well, but we didn't have time for that.

Breakfast is typically Italian. That means a lot of sweet things and few savory things like ham and cheese. Not really our style, but when in Rome, do as the Romans do. That said, the focaccia was a real treat! The old town center is far away on foot. We were promised 10 minutes but we are not Speedy Gonzales. Rather, count on half an hour. Quite far when it is very hot. So we took the bus.

A varied and complete breakfast. The hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to help. The room was comfortable, with a large bathroom with a good shower. The location was very practical, with free parking at the nearby stadium (on non-match days) and regular buses for the short hop (about 1km) into the city centre.

Some noise from the street outside.

The hosts are amazing :) I would definitely recommend it and stay here again. It is super clean and the breakfast is also great. It is a little bit far from the center but it is very well connected (there is a bus stop crossing the street and a couple more a block or two away).

Amazing friendly owners. Mrs. Eleonora spoke English very well, recommended us where to stop for a dinner and how to get to the places we wanted to see. Next day her father prepared a breakfast for us and although he didn’t speak English (and I know only few italian words) we could “talk” about several things.

Handy location for trains and buses. Spacious and comfortable, great aircon. Renato met us and was really helpful and informative. Suggested a nice restaurant for dinner. Excellent communication with directions from owner.

The kitchen was very hot which made it uncomfortable to eat in.

EVERYTHING, the place was wonderful, the lady that helped us was super kind and lovely and it was in a great area, definitely one of the best places we've been too, totally worth it. Ps: we had to leave earlier so the super kind lady wrapped up a breakfast for us to take 🥹.
