The hotel has some of the best views in Italy - truly magical. Situated near Forio (10 min coastal walk), also a beach nearby down the hill along with Poseidon thermal spa which is the most perfect day out. Seeing is believing! All the hotel staff we’re extremely polite and welcoming, so helpful with booking transfers, boat days etc. What we would normally expect at 5* luxe hotel. Book now!

The decor and rooms are a little dated but to be honest, the price reflects this, and overall it adds to the charm of the place. It feels very kitsch and cool.

Hospitality, hotel ambiance, location exceeded expectations. It was undoubtedly a professionally managed hotel yet there was the keen sense of family hospitality. We did not have the Half Board arrangement but had supper one evening on the terrace and enjoyed the splendid sea air and views from the hotel's hill location. Food and service were very agreeable. Breakfast served indoors with good sized windows facing the sea, was also enjoyable - again, service and food (plus variety) were good.

Amazing view over the Citara bay. Good location to explore Forio, the gardens, thermal spas, etc. Nice walk to Forio and the bus stop is very close as well. Very helpful staff. Good continental breakfast and good a la carte dinner options. Nice swimming pool. I would stay here again.

It is located on the top of a hill, so it is a bit of climb to come back from the beach. Not an issue for me, but something to consider in case of reduced mobility.

Great location. Walking distance from a lovely beach. They have a thermal pool which is awesome and clean. View from the hotel's restaurant is simply breathtaking. Our room had a sitting area with a view. Really nice. The staff are nice and helpful.

The building's interior, while very nice and clean, is a bit passe. It's not chic or trendy. But who cares

Gorgeous view, comfortable rooms, good shower, excellent air-conditioning, beautiful pool and garden area, free onsite parking. The manager of the food and beverage services was incredibly kind, accommodating and hardworking - he went above and beyond to make all guests feel welcome and that no request was too much trouble.

Noise insulation was a problem - especially because for two out of three mornings, there was very loud construction going on (to install new air-conditioners). The reception staff, while friendly, were slow to action guest requests and had to be constantly reminded. Servicing of rooms was a little inconsistent.

The location and views out over the bay and mountain. Beautiful sunset. Extremely clean and well cared for gardens. Room had good facilities with bonus of mini fridge and hairdryer. Good size bed for a single person. Shower was nice and hot with free shower gel and soap

Bed was OK but pillows and mattress a little thin and uncomfortable (I had a put up bed as a single room). Only soap and shower gel provided, no shampoo or conditioner. No bottled drinking water on arrival. The cascade waterfall in the pool didn’t work for most of the stay. The food in the restaurant was mediocre (don’t have the fried fishes, there is hardly any flesh on them (all head, fins and scales)

Beautiful swimming pool, larger than expected and plenty of sun beds for guests. Stunning views from the terrace around the pool, the restaurant terrace and the rooms. Lovely decor within the hotel, wonderful colours, Miami 1950s sort of vibe. Authentic family run feel with friendly and efficient staff. The hotel is a lovely size, intimate and individual but large enough and busy enough to have privacy/your own experwithin it. Exceptional restaurant for lunch and dinner with delicious freshly cooked dishes. The bar in the reception area is open all day for coffee and drinks which is a real bonus in a smaller hotel. A very individual establishment full of character and warm service. It reminded me of stays in Italy in the 1980s/90s before Europe became more generic.

The mattresses could be upgraded and made to king sized beds rather than two single mattresses put together. The bathroom was very clean and well stocked and good shower but decor a little dated, perhaps.

The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way! Everyone was kind and helpful and it was a pleasure to meet everyone from the hotel Staff Team. The pool was awesome - warm thermal water, clean, with bubbes and surrounded by various types of plants and flowers. Everything very well maintained by a gardener whom I've seen everyday. Aditionally, from the pool area there was a stunning view on the sea (sunset side). Just a couple of minutes of walk there is a beach and plenty restaurants. We also lunched in the hotel's restaurant - the portions were plentiful and dishes very tasty. I will definately consider to stay at this hotel again.

Great location, very clean hotel

Hotel has quite a few rules which seem a bit over the top and limiting such as swimming with bathing caps on. It appears the hotel prioritizes cleanliness over comfort and convenience which I guess is fair as the hotel appears to be attracting a specific target market

The hotel gives a good view to the island (especially in the lounge and the outdoor areas). The pool is also relatively large for multiple guests to enjoy; the water is heated. The room, although relatively "traditional" matches expectations of a 3 star hotel. However, the terrace which gives a view to the pool and part of the city is a great addition making it a nice place to relax. The breakfast is also decent, with bacon and eggs as hot dishes; the others are cereals, bread, yogurt and some cakes. The location is also great as it is 10min bus ride, only 1-2 min walk from the bus stop and a few minutes walk to Poseidon, a large thermal resort.

Pillows could be a bit thicker/firmer.
