It was our best accomodation during the trip in the south of Italy! We adored absolutely everything! After a cancelled booking, we arrived in Lecce without accomodation. We had to find a solution really quick so we choose Amatè Suite! It was one of the best decisions. Patrizia was the best host. She offered us wonderful suggestions for Lecce and visits that we can do nearby. The cleaning was impeccable as well as the breakfast offerings. It is perfectly located in the old town of Lecce, on one of the more quietly streets.

Not even a thing. We loved everything. For other people, maybe it should be noted that it was on the ground floor, facing the street in a very quiet pedestrian-only area. For us, it was wonderful because we felt part of the town, as well as staying in a very open environment.

Patrizia was a perfect and most gracious host. She went out of her way to pick us up from the parking lot where we kept our rental car. We were greeted with a glass of wine and snacks while she went over the route of the city on a map with us. The location was perfect for sightseeing in old Lecce. Breakfast every morning was in an adorable room and the preparation of our meals was quite good and included homemade pastries and breads. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and beautiful. Patrizia made sure every day that we were comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed Lecce. Our trip was stress free and very relaxing due to our stay at the Amate Suite.

If one is traveling by car, parking can be a challenge but Patrizia was a huge help in that matter.

I travelled with my wife. We had an anniversary and spend 4 days in Lecce. Patrizia is one of the best hosts we've ever had. She was so kind. She welcomed us with prosecco and snacks, gave us some recommendations what to visit and where to eat. The location is perfect and there is a secured parking nearby - 5 minutes walking. I do recommend staying at Amatè Suite.

Lovely spacious ground floor room, nicely furnished with high ceiling and good lighting. Bathroom was well-designed for the available space. Easy check-in despite the late arrival- thank you! Able to leave bags at the property after check-out. Located on a quiet side street of the old town, so it was easy to walk to the main sights and not too far from the train station. The owner gave some recommendations for trips out of town (some destinations in the region are not easily accessible without a car) and was available at breakfast and by WhatsApp for further queries during the stay. A buffet-style breakfast was served in a covered courtyard at the centre of the property. This was beautifully presented by friendly staff, with a selection including scrambled/boiled eggs to order, toast, pastries, ham/salami and cheese/local Mozzarella, homemade yoghurt, granola/cereal, fruit- pineapple, kiwi fruit, strawberries, jams, Nutella, juices- orange, pineapple, and tea/coffee. Really nice stay, to be recommended.

It felt a bit odd having the bathroom window open onto the communal courtyard where breakfast is served, but this is an understandable quirk of the building. The room was next to the reception desk which might've meant more disturbance if more guests had been checking in/out, but not an issue during the stay.

A 5* star B&B in the Lecce historical town, two minutes walk from Napoli Gate (easy to find the B&B). Room is big, bad is supper king size and very comfort, two type of pilows are supplementing the good night sleep. Room is sparky clean, daily house cleaning is carry. The B&B provided excellent driving and parking instruction, after you park outside the historical Lecce (near Napoli gate) it's two minuted walk to the B&B. Breakfast is rich' coffe is excelent and owner there to make you a very tasty omlet. Owner is very profesional, provide detailed suggestions for exploring Leecce and the region. Owner is attentive to any need and help us resolving an helthy issue, Grazia Mile

The location was close to parking and where our tour started on Saturday. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Cannot say enough about Patrizia. she made sure thst our stay was perfect. Very prompt returning emails, dealing with an issue that came up at the last minute.

The faucet in the jacuzzi did not work properly. Water only came out of 1/2 of it.

we fell in love with the city, the property, and Patrizia. Not at all surprised that this property’s ratings is off the charts. Patrizia is very masterful in whatever her guests need. Location is perfect, daily breakfast was prepared according to our schedule, and the property is beautiful, and very clean. Patrizia became a constant resource for our general questions even after we had already moved on to other parts of Italy.

hmmmmm there’s really no negative I can say about the property in general. ahaaaaa, that Patrizia didn’t tell us she’s a reality tv star 😉.

Breakfast was very good. Very well equipped room, great spacious bathroom, comfortable king size bed.

Only issue was the air conditioner which seemed to be set on a timer to go off in the night. But, once I spoke with Patricia about it, this was adjusted and improved.

Patricia is a really welcoming host and made us feel at home. She explained a lot and served breakfast a bit earlier since we had to catch a plane. Good breakfast and the room looks very pretty.

Even though the bed was comfortable and big, there was a small split in the mattress which made it a little less comfortable.

Amate Suite was a wonderful stay while we were in Lecce. Patrizia and her staff Paola and Sarah were exceptional hosts and more than helpful with the many suggestions of beaches and places to eat. The location was perfect and easy to walk around Lecce Centro. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
