We spent a wonderful week enjoying warm hospitality of Casa di Pippinito. It was a perfect retreat to recharge our batteries and continue discovering wonders of this region : hidden villages perched on the rugged mountain sides, small fishing villages created on the rocks formed by lava flows, snorkeling in crystal clear water, admiring beauty of Taormina and colors of majestic Etna, wondering at huge grape cultivating fields in the area of Garnieri, strolling in pine and cork woods, orange and olive orchards , tasting good wines and foods, and last but not least , meeting dignified but smiling Sicilian people, who are always ready to help. It was a great adventure. Thank You Cesare, thank You Sicily 😊

We really enjoyed our stay! 100% recommendation! The apartment was really nice and not only looking good for some booking.com photos, but you could see that the host really takes care of everything. Everything was super clean (even though there was rain and Sahara dust the days before our arrival)! The host himself really takes his pride in being a good host. The breakfast ist just phenomenal. We've been traveling a lot but never had such a high quality (!!!) breakfast every single morning. Cesare doesn't cut costs when it comes to serving breakfast to his guests: Plenty of fresh juice, fresh salad with nuts and fruits, great cheese and cold cuts, varieties of omelette and tasty sweet Italian croissants. Next to the appartments he grows lemons, oranges and other fruits. He also sells homemade Limoncello and Mandarinello for a reasonable price. Also if you have questions on where to have dinner, where to go, he is always willing to help. Overall we were impressed by the apartment, the farm, the breakfast but foremost by the host! Thanks Cesare for everything!

The place is absolutely unique and we loved every minute spent there. Cesare put his soul in his La casa and you can feel it in all the details. The territory is big and there are a lot of corners you can take your time and relax. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I must say additional words about breakfast Cesare is serving, because that was fantastic. Every morning you will have delicious and rich breakfast with fresh cornetto and local products . The location is quiet far away of any attractions or bigger towns, but you can easily get by car where you want. I guess in this location you come for quiet time 😊 Cesare, thank you one more time and I hope to return one day 🌸
Absolutely nothing.

Such a beautiful b&b. The host is the sweetest man ever and the breakfast is outstanding. The whole b&b is surrounded by flowers, fruittree’s, etc. The rooms are so beautiful and lovely, you even have a kitchen for yourself next to the communal kitchen. Good located to visit the Etna.
The little town were the b&b is located is very dead. There are 2 restaurants, no bars, nothing. So apart from the Etna the surroundings are very empty. Has nothing to do with the beautiful b&b though. Rooms were bit too hot for us. But thanks for the amazing stay!!

Amazing experience- feels very special if you want to be in an authentic place with a soul and feel connected with local nature. Pippinito is a very friendly and relaxed host with great attention for details- also very accommodating to our needs (early breakfast, recommended booked an amazing restaurant for us late at night). The breakfast was wonderful, decorated with taste, and everything contributes to a very relaxing atmosphere - you feel like you can disconnect from everything. We were really impressed and only wished we would have stayed longer if we had known! We will remember this place as very unique and special.
There was no airco in our room. I suppose this choice was made for environmental reasons but I have to say if you are used to sleeping in an air-conditioned rooms, it can get quite warm at night in summer. There is a fan but it's quite noisy. Pippinito advised us to sleep with open windows, which was absolutely fine by me but less for my partner who says he has been waken up by mosquitos. I would still go back there and recommend it, but if airco is a must-have for you and you're looking for the "industrial comfy modern" type of place then it is probably not for you.

We loved our stay here. This lemon and avocado farm is at the doorstep of Mount Etna, and we did a trip there in just about 30-45 minutes following some tips from our friendly host. We used it as a base to visit Etna and Taormina. Room was spacious and clean, loved walking along the fruit trees with ocean views on one side and Etna on the other. Also loved the little shop on site with homemade products. A great restaurant in town just about 5 minutes by car was very convenient. Breakfast was sensational, with delicious hot/cold options, plenty of coffee and fresh juice - probably one of the best breakfasts had while away, if not the very best! Would definitely stay here again.
Maybe a bit more hot water in the shower if at all possible, possibly a personal preference. Getting to the farmhouse the first time, be careful as Google can take you through a weird dead-end way (apparently an old canal)... so best to head to town first.

Authentic Sicilian style house with 2x bedrooms, 2x bathrooms , 1x living room and kitchen. Host was very friendly and kind - he lives in another house on the same location. He offered to answer any question about nearby sightseeing places or anything else we would like to know. We got information about best routes to visit Etna which is 20 minutes from the house. House has terrace with the view to large garden. Breakfast was included in the price of our stay and it was great (exceeded our expectations)!
There is no air conditioner in the house. So we kept windows open during the night as it was very hot (we were visiting in the middle of July 2023 when the heatwave hit Sicily). As the result mosquitoes got into our rooms despite mosquitoes nets on windows - and they did bite us quit a lot.

Cesare was extremely welcoming & kind upon arrival, showing us around & making us feel at home immediately. And throughout our stay went out of his way to give advice, aid us in organising activities, & making sure our stay was a complete success. And always ready&willing to answer our questions! We had a beautiful little apartment and a private patio, which was comfortable, clean & had everything needed. And Cesare made the most amazing breakfast (!) each morning to start the day! The Agriturismo (also very beautiful) is well-located to provide access to Mt Etna & surroundings, & a train station (Guardia Mangano) nearby for access to other cities along the coast. The Interbus also rides along the coast as another option. We visited Acireale & Trecastagni (Cantine Nicosia for an amazing wine tasting+meal), & hiked on the northern region of Mt Etna with the kindest guide called Grazia, all beautiful places & amazing experiences! Santa Venerina itself has an incredible Pasticceria (P. Russo), &a great pizzeria (Napoletana), both worth a visit!! Huge huge thanks Cesare for making our stay so wonderful!
We travelled by foot & were just about able to make it work with public transport and with some other extremely kind help. However, a car would be recommended for full flexibility to explore the region. We found it quite difficult to access comfortable beach areas, which would likely be easier with a car.

It was great to retreat from the tourist towns and cities to B&B La casa di Pippinitto each night for some quiet and a breath of fresh air. This is a rustic B&B at the foothills of Mt Etna. The breakfast was fantastic and was more than anyone could want. Our host was very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.
There was nothing to dislike as long as guests realise its not a 5 star hotel.

The garden is a hidden gem with olive trees, orange and lemon trees. Caesar the host is preparing every morning the best breakfast we had in Sicily with orange juice from his orange trees, home made jam, Sicilian salad and cheese and ham platters and cornettos! Rooms are really spacious and beds are comfy. We loved everything about it. The atmosphere is wonderful.
