Just Hotel Lomazzo Fiera

1. The breakfast was amazing. 2. The shower had good water flow and hot water. 3. The 2nd receptionist was very helpful and engaging. 4. The beds were comfortable.

1. The 1st receptionist was a bit brash and not very welcoming. 2. It was a hot afternoon and the air conditioner wasn't working. The 2nd receptionist was very helpful though and came and fixed the issue. The room had had the window left open which made the air conditioner not work. Suggest the cleaning staff should ensure the windows are closed as part of their room preparation. 3. The room was a bit dusty. 4. The smoker ashtray at the front entry. People were leaving their butt in the bin and not putting them out resulting in disgusting smell of cigarettes as you walk through the main door. Suggest the butt bin be relocated away from the entry door. It's a non smoking hotel but you can't enter without covering your face to avoid the stink of cigarette smoke.

Very convenient location near the autostrada for stopover. It’s set up well with covered parking at your door. We appreciated that the manager sent a very nice bowl of freshly cut fruit with apologies for the problems with our first room (see below). The main restaurant had an excellent menu, good wine selection, and reasonable prices, but let down by the service.

Our room had problems with the lighting and we had to move to another room. Some staff were not so friendly or efficient. Breakfast was poor. Scrambled eggs were cold, as if they’d been stored in the fridge. Settled for croissants and coffee.

The location is excellent, easy to reach just off the motorway and a very short drive to Lake Como and the Swiss border. We had booked a double room for one night but were delighted to be given a free upgrade to a suite. We would have liked to stay longer to enjoy it! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good but not a great deal of vegetarian choice. We settled for a great pizza for dinner and the breakfast was very good. It is obviously a popular stopover, very busy with families from all over Europe.

The location of the hotel very close to the highway Swiss-Milano. Pets are welcome at the hotel, staff is very client oriented, cool and kind. They offered us breakfast bags (because we left before the restaurant opened) and they were well furnished. Beds are of good quality and ensured a good rest after a long trip. The restaurant is nice and proposes good food. Clean and cosy room.

Maybe the quality of the room’s door which was not acoustically insulated enough to attenuate the noise from the hallway.

The hotel is located close to Como, has more than enough parking spaces, and has all the facilities to overnight with comfort and fun. They also upgraded us to a room with a jacuzzi which we really enjoyed. Incredible value for money.

This is a great place for travellers by car but I can't even imagine getting there any other way. If you're on a car trip, you won't find anything better for this price. No complaints at all.

Great for a stopover on the way North or South. The hotel is in good shape, the reception gives a good first impression of a newly renovated/built place. The room I got was spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated, breakfest was good. All for decent price. Will be back.

The only minor complaint I could have is that the pillows were quite hard. There are two pillows provided, it would be easy to have one soft one and one hard one.

The hotel is large and unmissable from the nearby highway. Has also good access to other major roads. Ample parking space around the hotel grounds. Rooms are a good size and generally clean, although the balcony, which was a generous size could have been cleaner. The hotel has a restaurant on site which has a pizzeria as well as other food options. We ate pizza which was very good, but the food choices looked fine based on other tables options. Overall a very good hotel for an overnight stop or possible meeting venue.

Although the on-site restaurant was great for dinner, the same restaurant area is used for breakfast which shows up a few flaws. Firstly many of the table tops are dimpled and need changing. Secondly the breakfast buffet is laid out in a not very attractive way. There are good options of cold choices, both sweet and salted, but the hot option of "scrambled" egg and bacon was extremely poor; rubbery egg and undercooked bacon. Finally the coffee was dispensed from an automatic machine. Not being able to have a decent cappucino or expresso in an Italian cafe area is pretty unforgivable.

Location very close to the motorway exit, easy to park inside the property, efficient and friendly check-in, complimentary room upgrade to junior suite, spacious room, good restaurant inside (very nice pizza and nice service). Overall good value for money.

Arriving the room temperature was a bit on the low side, it took a while to get the comfortable temperature in the room. The hotel decoration is not my taste but overall acceptable.

Many good options of fresh fruits and croissants. Overal a nice selection of different options. Staff was very nice and helpful when needed.

The coffee. I must admit it was not of a very good quality and from a place like this (where everything was very good) in Italy, one would except a better coffee...no big deal, just a detail, but it could be improved

Room was great with SKY channels. Bathroom was large with a tub although it would've been nice if there was a better showerhead. The staffs were eager to help once requested. Also two bottles of free water per day was really helpful surviving through hot Italian weather.

Breakfast was not sufficient as there was only egg and bacon. It would've been nice if there was a little more choices to eat.
