Everything was perfect and it was what we hoped for and what we expected. The staff was very nice and polite, the room was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. The bus stop to Venice is 2 minutes away from the hotel so it was easy to to orientate.

There was no minifridge in the room, it would have been nice if there was one. But except that everything was just great!

Price quality ratio is really good. Very clean room, very comfortable beds and mattress, quiet location, safe area(very safe, nothing sketchy at all). Several restaurants options nearby within 5 minutes walking distance. Big grocery store only 3 minutes away and train station on same street within 6 minutes of walk. Breakfast has ham, cheese, egg, croissants, bread, desserts, fruit juice, coffee, tea, etc. Good enough for a short stay, would suggest to add some sort of salad or veggies( tomato, cucumber, green leaf, etc) if possible. Most impressively, two front desk girls(Anna and Georgia) are both super friendly and able to speak English well. Anna is the one checked us in and out, great hospitality! The breakfast gentleman is super nice too, the other housekeeping lady did nice job as well. There are only 4 staffs in total and 17 rooms in this small hotel and it’s a gem!! If you read their guest book located by the front door, it’s full of love from guests who had stayed here. On top of that, direct bus line No2 stop is 100 meters away and it only cost €1.5 to take you from hotel directly to Venice in about 20 minutes. With half of the island hotel price and 1.5 times of value, I would stay here whenever I make a visit to Venice.

No mini fridge, no kitchen, no microwave. our room( located right behind front desk) shower space is tiny about 60cmx60cm, safety box has no option to be used, no ventilation fan. A little scented smell in the room. But, those are minor concerns for us.

The staff tried very hard and accommodated us in everything. Breakfast excellent.

We liked it a lot. Of course, we were on the ground floor and it was dark everywhere, no daylight got into the room or the bathroom, but it can't be done otherwise when the hotel is right on the street. If I really had to write something that we didn't like, it was the price for parking in the hotel area. From other countries, we are used to parking being included in the price of accommodation. Elsewhere in Italy we paid 5 euro per day. But here you pay 15 euros per day for parking at the hotel, and that's quite enough.

The location is great! it’s close to the train station and close to the bus station (no 2) going to Venice! in the near proximity you have a supermarket and few restaurants. The staff was super friendly and very helpful(absolutely all of them) and they made our vacation very enjoyable! We were traveling with our 2 year old son and they gave us an upgrade to a triple room. Both the double room and triple room were large for Italy. the room and the whole hotel is very clean! The shower had good pressure and the water was hot enough. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was very good and had enough food selections for us. We were able to purchase tickets for bus and vaporetto directly from the hotel (at the same price you would get from the ticket office) We took the 48 hours but I recommend you buy the 7 days for Vaporetto and individual tickets for bus.( I think you can buy it also from the airport) We will definitely come back!

Excellent service, staff was so helpful. Location is easy walk from the trainstation. Bus to Venize 15 min. Also Mestre city centre had great restaurants, bus 10 min. Lovely breakfast, we were able to eat outside. Cappuchinos made, enough choices. Public transport is so easy in Mestre and Venice, I recommend to buy day tickets (we had 3 days unlimited usage).

Room was very small. There wasn't so many nice restaurants in the block (easy walking distance) but unless you want to go to Venize for a dinner, take the bus 2 to Mestre and there are great restaurants and gelato.

The staff is phenomenal-pleasant, patient, friendly and respectful. They provided a wealth of information about how to get around, where to eat, etc. Bus and vaporetto tickets and passes are available for purchase at the hotel. Any concerns are swiftly and professionally addressed. Wonderful breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices, and coffee/tea served to order.

There was nothing that would change my mind about staying here-we would happily return. It can be pretty noisy at times, but not constantly. We had one serious noise concern during our three night stay. A quick call to the front desk and it was quickly and courteously taken care of. The room was not spacious, but it was sufficient. The shower, however, is quite small. We are not large people, so it was okay. I don’t know how a large person could move in that space. The shower door opening is also quite narrow.

I stayed at Hotel Cris on my way home from Croatia, and this was the perfect hotel to stop at along the train line! It was a short walk to the hotel from the train which was very convenient with all my bags! Breakfast begins at 7:30, but I asked to eat at 7 instead because I had to catch a train, and the owner was very accommodating with me! There were many delicious pastries, fried eggs, cereal, coffee, juice, and much more. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've had! Overall had a great overnight stay here, and I think Hotel Cris would also be the perfect hotel to stay at if you are visiting Venice!

I’ve stayed at the Cris many times in the last 12 years, excellent breakfast, clean & good size rooms even the single, convenient for the bus stop to Venice, the hotel also sell bus & vaporetto tickets, Georgia & Anna the office staff are very friendly & helpful, plenty of excellent restaurants close by serving traditional Venetian food, with plenty of restaurants in Mestre’s main Piazza a 10 minute walk away, Georgia or Anna will gladly give you advice which are the best restaurants to eat at & the best places around Venice to visit

Has great location and very close proximity to Venice. The bus stop is right around the corner. The stuff is very friendly and helped with the tickets and suggestions. The rooms are cozy but ok for family travel. The breakfast is very nice! I would definitely recommend this place. Private gated parking lot is a big plus!

the hotel management must do something with the heating system – after we turned on the heating the pushed air had terrible smell. We had to keep the heating system turned off but still we were happy to get out of the room

The location is good, walkable distance to bus and train station Airport shuttle bus is 10mins walkable distance as well The breakfast is clean, many options, and fresh The room is clean and comfortable It's a small hotel but feel ware welcomed The room sound proof is bad but hotel stuff helped us to inform the next room immediately (super fast, because we had early flight next day)
